Volume Hundred and Sixteen

We have arrived to late to save who ever lived in this barn. I slide the barn doors back. My sense of smell was correct, the thing about death is the more you are exposed to it. You can develop these kind of things, as the light shined inside of the barn. There it was the owner of the barn, with his own sword into his chest. Eten shouted " who did this?!", I searched the barn for any clues of a break in or a fight. Nothing was there to indicate either option. The butt of the sword was dugged perfectly into he ground, I followed where the sword is located at. Standing directly above the sword that has taken this young man's life. I raised my head to follow where there would be a fight, I couldn't even tell if we was assassined. Normal they would leave a small envelope or if they are a part of the same clan as Autumn. It would be a piece of the target body. Nothing should that either, I analyzed his body. Especially they way it is positioned, this is a murder. This young man had token his life. I can explain it to them. I doubt they would believe me though, cause it wouldn't make any sense to them. I whispered to Eten. " Eten!, help me with him.". While yaking him off of the sword, while pulling him back. I saw awards. Well more like medals, I know what these are I heard rumors about them when I was younger. These aren't something to be proud of. I gently placed him on the hay underneath us, the medals flopping around on his body. It's been quite some time since I've seen someone with these medals. He probably could stand what he saw with his eyes, or what the kids does in Daragain. He just wanted the voice and episodes to end. This is the permanent answer, it's the most heartbreaking one option. My wife asked me about the medals. " Honey!. What are those medals for?!, do they have something with Adamsin?. Please I want to know before we bury to man, at least his past.". I really don't want to explain this to anyone. The reasoning behind the medals are not a pretty one, the ones he has are the hardest one to achieve. With a deep impactful sigh. " Fine!. There were rumors when the war of Adamsin was at it's peak. Other adventures who couldn't battle very well, or a very low ranking. They would go either rescue those who were caught in the crossfire of the war. Others would go and find those who didn't make it out of the war, and report them back to their Kingdom. Or the nearest one that was still standing. Now you wouldn't get these medals until the war was over, one of the benefits of participating in it. The reward was land. Let's see I was told, that is was approximately fifty to three hundred acres. I'm just as surprised as y'all are. I thought that they had all been killed or died in the war, this person was part of the rescue group. He was probably the last one left of the war. I've never heard of the war until it was already over, I feel bad for this poor soul. It must have been haunting Hun for years. With no one to talk to about what you've saw, the medal is based on the how much of the medal is empty. What I mean is this?. Let's say you rescue two children, your kingdom will fill in the a small space in the medal with a pearl. Now the pearl didn't make any sense to me either. I guess they gave them pearls cause of the reflection it would give off. That doesn't sound right. I couldn't tell you why?!.". I started carrying the man out of the barn, walking through the fields this man use to plow. Fighting back tears from falling. I don't want to cry not right now, I'm tired of doing this though. Why does this keep happening of Lord?!, I know that these people of the world or filled with wickedness. I have hope for people like this Lord, I mean he saved people like I do. It means nothing if you don't believe though. I understand that more than anyone who lives here, all I ask of you is that you keep giving me the strength to preserve. Seeing the scenario that I had been bestowed before me. I'm very grateful for you oh Lord!. While gazing upon the farm that we have very recently came across while on our journey to Nord. I walked behind the barn, just another field covered in wheat. This man either must have really love growing wheat, or he couldn't grow anything else. To be fair it's almost impossible to grow anything in world now. Seeing about nakt of the soil is made of up if another's DNA, I stopped after ten yards away from the barn. I gently placed the deceased man to the left of me . I dropped down to the ground started digging the grave for the man who lost the war inside of his mind. He stayed strong for a long time. If I had just explored more, maybe just maybe I could have saved him. Now I'm digging the grave of someone who I failed to save, if this is the way of the world then it has to be it. God did not want his children too take their own life. The hole finally got deep enough for him to be buried in, while picking up. His body to decay even more when I tossed him over my shoulder, I layed him down into his grave. As I layed him down I small painting fell out of his back pocket, it was his family self portrait. I accidentally flipped to the back of the picture, what I've read broke me. " I'll see y'all soon!!!!!".
