As i made my way to the participant stands, there were a lot of stinging gazes around me.

They are the the gazes questioning how did this trash win against someone higher ranked than him and a particular stinging gaze boring hole in me didn't help either.

But i choose to ignore those gazes as i took a seat in the participant stand, and further waited for team matches to be started.

These were the only two matches that happened of the main cast until now three including leon's which was less than a match and more like a one sided beating and a small revenge against gred.

As i took in the battles fought in the arena one after another of different cadets with different styles and technique, i analysed each styles fought and how i can counter attack them from the memory of Noah and from my life experience still it was difficult to understand these martial arts and the complex web of moves from the scion of different families, commoners were still stuck with the basics so it was not so hard to understand their moves beforehand but even in them some were elusive enough to outshadow the scions of wealthy family trained with potions and have been fighting since they were 5.

After 3 to 4 hours of sitting finally the team matches were being started, if i say so individual matches were like warm up for what was to come as this will be the real start of the ritual which has been established since the start of the academy.

Team matches where the individual from the different teams assigned beforehand will participate in showdown where mana, martial arts and skill's all are valid.

I got up from my seat and headed to the assigned waiting room for our team as notification say's.

As i was making my way to the room i made several plans to keep my self away from the team because main cast for now was like venom to me if i get caught being a demon contractee they will be the first one to kill me.

After arriving in front of the waiting room in the southern part of the arena, I took in deep breath's to wash away my nervousness, I am today officially going to meet the protagonist by his hand Noah died, and the main cast, so obviously I am nervous but I persisted and made myself calm down and knocked the door leading to my destiny or this world's destiny.

"Yes come in. " said a serene voice.

I opened the door slowly and took in the view before me.

Said Jake a green hair and green-eyed tall young man with an attractive face and Mash an orange-haired and yellow-eyed guy and muscular guy both were nobles belonging to prestigious families yet not ruling ones.

I ignored them like they were nothing but air and swiftly tried to walk past them with an emotionless face, I remember how they used to criticize Noah even in the original work.

But Mash didn't seem to like my attitude as he swiftly came forward to block me.

By Not any means both were not beautiful Elisa with her cheerful and kind personality with white hair and the purple eye looked like an angel who any man wants to protect at any cost but maybe this angel don'0t need anyone to protect her and Layla Netyoive with her cold and merciless personality with Abyss black hair and red eyes with a slender and tall figure that any men will be tranced to look at.

But at last, Leon chooses Elisa.

So Falkor was in the corner of the room standing like me aloof, Chase, Naiva, And Monica on Couches, and Layla was keeping her usual cold expression but she kept staring at how Elisa was being protected by Leon, well there was the story as to why Layla was like that.
