An Old Book

After 6 months of training Aryan had completed Skin Strengthening, Muscle Strengthening, Bone Strengthening, Organ Strengthening, and finally the stage where Aryan had just entered, the Perfection stage, also known as the Seed Finding stage, where one had completed Body Refining and was now trying to enter the Absorption Stage but first needed to find and control their 'Spirit Seed', therefore Aryan now sat there in a meditative pose, completely silent, trying to sense his own 'Seed', however finding your 'Seed' wasn't an easy process, he sat there for days on end, only moving to eat food, after about a month he still couldn't sense anything, but he still didn't worry because he knew it would only be a matter of time, however after another month, anxiety set in, 'What if I'm an anomaly and don't have a spirit seed, how will I ever have enough strength to avenge my parents and save my little brother.'. The old man also started to wonder if the boy had no Spirit Seed but to the contrary of Aryan, he started to get excited, he had a way to test for a Spirit Seed, and it was by using a Spirit Stone, the reason he hadn't done so before was that by using a spirit stone it made it easier to find your 'seed' but because of this, it also restricted one's comprehension of their own 'Seed', therefore restricting them on the path of cultivation(They were also extremely rare and expensive).

Awaking Aryan from his meditation, the old man beckoned him to come over, "Since you are having troubles with sensing your 'Seed', I have got this Spirit Stone to help", the old man passed him a small rock, about the size a golf ball that looked like a normal rock, were it not for the luminescent purple and blue veins flowing across its surface like galactic rivers. Aryan grabbed the stone, the first thing he noticed was the warm temperature of the rock, followed by…nothing, "How do you feel?", asked the old man anxiously, "Umm, well my hand is warm, but that's about it.", "So you don't feel the warmth flowing up your arm into your chest?", "No, should I?", worry started to fill Aryan, did he truly have no talent? "Huh, I guess you really don't have a Spirit Seed", a single, almost comically casual sentence, hacked Aryans' hopes into pieces and burnt them in front of him, but before he could delve deeper into unrestrained depression, a burst of raucous laughter sounded.

"HAHAHAHA! What are the chances of that! I didn't even think it was possible! You are one hell of a lucky one, boy.", "What are you on about old man?", the old man stifled his laughter and turned to Aryan with full seriousness, "You may not think it just yet but you having no talent for cultivation is because of luck beyond the heavens.", saying this the old man pulled out an archaic book, its cover was made of worn brown leather from an unknown creature, with glistening golden words that resembled a rising sun written on it, "The Nine Chronicles Of Sovereignty? Just what kind of book is this?", "To be truthful not even I know of its origin or purpose, just that it is a cultivation technique with odd requirements, requirements that I cannot fulfill", a somber expression appeared on his face but it quickly returned to smile as he added, "Therefore, I give this to you. And I wish you the best of luck on your next journey.", with that odd sentence the old man hobbled back to his room leaving Aryan, holding the ancient book in his hands, "Well, I quess ill give it a read."

Aryan went to open the book but the instant he went to pull the cover back a blinding light assaulted his eyes, causing him to instinctively close them, by the time the light disappeared and he opened his eyes the book was gone, "How the fu-", in an instant his consciousness was dragged into his mind, a place of emptiness and unending whiteness, where all alone sat a book, 'The Nine Chronicles Of Sovereignty', 'Woah, how does that even work? It must be one hell of a magical book. I wonder if I can still read it?', without having a physical body, Aryan could only 'will' for the book to open, and to his surprise it did. The front cover slowly pulled back revealing the contents of the primordial book, Aryan's focus was immediately taken in by the perplexing text, it read:

'In this book lies the conglomeration of my wisdom, experience, and comprehension of my aeonian life compiled into nine chronicles. - The One Above The Heavens.', It was a simple introduction, to what seemed to be a dairy of a being who sat above the heavens. After the first page, it read: 'Before you read The Nine Chronicles Of Sovereignty, of which its power even I, its creator, do not know its limits. Let's first start with the cultivation technique I created after watching the heavens down below, named the Sovereignty Scripture.', as soon as Aryan finished reading that line, information from the Sovereignty Scripture flooded his brain, pushing it to its limit of storage, but even then it could barely handle the first Saga, leading the rest to be locked away in the depths of his mind, to stop his consciousness from being destroyed under the pressure.

Feeling that his mind had calmed Aryan started to go over the first Saga, the Body Of Foundation. Aryan realised that each Saga most likely correlated to a cultivation realm and explained the best way to pass that realm, the Body Of Foundation Saga came from the idea that because the body was the vessel for Spirit, a strong body equals a bigger vessel and more Spirit, therefore the body was the foundation for all. Thus the Body Of Foundation Saga intends to bring the body to perfection and not just the human limit but to the boundaries of existence itself.
