In Verus (the world), there are many forbidden areas, places that are filled with peril and danger, they are normally inheritances left behind by former powerhouses.

These powerhouses have made it so the forbidden land is impossible to enter at most times, then every few decades they open it allowing people to complete the trials and gain their inheritance.

Even if you don't get the inheritance there are many treasures in forbidden lands : equipment, herbs, elixirs etc...

The powerhouses the inheritance comes from have either died or are trying to find a disciple to carry in their legacy as in this world there are many hermits living years in seclusion.

The Forbidden land also restricts age most times, as powerhouses wish to find a talented disciple not an old bastard to receive their inheritance."

"Sami, I read in a book the last time the inheritance opened was 36 years ago meaning there are 14 years remaining before it opens again." Alice explained.

"Yes we can definitely do this, then your mother will be saved!" Sami replied excitedly, "As a way to prolong her life I'll ask my father to give her medicated food with the death element as there is too much life aura in her body already."

"Wait my family had a bloodline," As Elizabeth heard Sami and Elizabeth talk to each other as if they already saved her, she realised the crux of situation, her family of commoners had a bloodline, one so strong it conflicted with her physique.

"Yes mother, Our bloodline is called the Death Empress Bloodline, it gives the owner a 300% affinity in Death and a - 300% in the Life Element" Alice energetically said.

Elizabeth stood their speechless. She was shocked after all she thought she was just unsuitable for cultivation, however it was due to her op bloodline.

"Auntie don't worry when the inheritance re-opens me and Alice will get it and save you." Samael Vowed.

"Thank you my sweet child, you are already becoming quite the hero" Elizabeth said as she ruffled Sami's hair.

"Auntt" Samael whined.

Samael was distraught, "Why do all these adult woman ruffle his hair or pinch his cheeks, will I ever be free."

"Alright children, you should go now, have some fun." Elizabeth implored trying to move on from the topic of her sickness.

"Byee" they both said.

As the duo reached a miscellaneous courtyard, Sami stopped and said "Alice today is the last day you experience anything like that again, these nobles think they can run all over you, but you are the princess show them your strength, make them fear."

Sami's fist began to ball, "They treated you like dirt, they could not me harm due to my background but they can harm you, you need to retaliate, if a mosquito bites you, squash it, you don't let it continue sucking your blood."

As Sami's teaching reached Alice's ears her expression became serious, she remembered those bastard's mocking faces, their sneers and their cruel 'gift'. Sami is right she has to become stronger.

"Sami on this day, September the 18th, Year 7025 of the New Calendar I promise you to never to succumb to those nobles, I promise to become stronger and to gain the ability to protect anyone I hold dear in my heart."

"I promise too, I shall never allow anyone to harm anybody I love, I will become stronger and will live my life to the absolute fullest, I will fulfil my dreams, wishes and do whatever I desire."

The duo looked at each other affirming their vows.

Countless years later, this day was called The Promised day as it was the day when two of the strongest and most legendary powerhouses ever, made an oath that was recorded, recited and retold throughout the ages.

Information of the day: Fusion

There are three types of fusion, first fusion with the neutral element.

Fusion with the neutral element is the most stable type of fusion but also the weakest.

It adds your affinity of the element with your affinity of the neutral element, it then takes the sum and adds another 100%. For example 100% in neutral and 300% in fire, added together is 400% then you add the 100% bonus equalling to a total of 500%.

Fusion of harmonious elements.

Harmonious elements work together to strengthen each other like water and ice or healing and wood etc. This doubles the total sum of affinities. For example a 100% in water + a 150% in ice = 250% double that and you get 500%.

Lastly Fusion of conflicting elements this is the strongest type of fusion however it is also very dangerous as the resultant fusion is very volatile and can damage the user(s)

It adds the affinities then triples the total sum. For example 200% in life + 150% in death = 350% triple that and you get 1050%.

This may seem extremely overpowered however you need ridiculous control to do this, or extreme strength as you would be able to tame the fusion (Victoria when she fused the devil and light element was an example of her having enough strength to control the fusion.)
