Awa

The next day, Samael's courtyard.

Sunlight shone through the window illuminating the living room, five sleeping bodies were scattered around, it seemed that the group of friends fell asleep thinking of a guild name.

Samael got up first as his body is used to waking up early, he got up to take a walk maybe the fresh morning air could give him an epiphany. As he was thinking he strayed further and further away from his courtyard, reaching the school's private forest. He strolled past the viridian trees, the morning dew rolled of the leaves, the smells of life filled his nose, it was beautiful.

The yellow glow from the sun pierced through the towering trees illuminating the forest floor. Appearing, in one of the ray's of sunlight was an unconscious girl. Even though Sami dislikes trouble he's not heartless so he quickly checked on the teenager.

As he got a closer he look, he could see the girl's features, she was an elf with beautiful and radiant ebony/dark brown skin her long black dreads had golden threads running through it. Her pointed ears were decorated with viridian and white earrings, she was wearing all black attire making her stand out in the glowing woods. She looked quite petite, her height looked to be around 1.57 metres (I changed it, made her shorter).

Her seemingly cute face was covered with a distraught expression she seemed to be having a horrifying nightmare.

Samael began shaking her, trying to wake up and it clearly worked as the elf's eyes fluttered open revealing her bright golden eyes that were filled with confusion and panic.

"Ahh!" the elf screamed, "Who are you?"

"My name is Samael I was just taking a walk and I found you unconscious in the forest, you seemed to be having a bad dream." Sami gently answered, "Are you alright?"

"Wait what did you just say." her naturally joyful voice asked absolutely shocked.

"Are you alright??" Samael repeated beginning to think the elf may actually be not ok.

The elf stared at Samael in shock, gazing at his charming face. She quickly looked down in embarrassment and said, "It.... it's nothing, I was just a little dazed."

Sami knew she was lying but didn't press the issue as he didn't care that much.

"Well what are you doing here, you definitely have a residence of your own?"

"O...oh I just like the forest, I'm an elf and all, ha ha." the elf laughed dryly, this was clearly another lie.

Samael looked at her weirdly but didn't say anything, each to their own I guess. "Alright at least tell me your name and your class because I don't remember seeing you in the combat trials."

The elf looked relieved, she evidently felt uncomfortable lying, "My name is Awa and I'm the current Rank 1 in the freshman Healing Classes." she said looking proudly at Sami's shocked expression.

"Eh, could be weirder, I'm Samael and I'm the Rank 1 freshman in the Combat Classes." he said outstretching his hand.

"Well hello Samael." she said also stretching out her hand, the two hands, big and small met in the middle and connected. "To us Rank 1s." she joked.

"To us Rank 1s"

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The two rank 1s split ways and went to their respective classes.

"Where have you been?" Alice asked.

"I went for a stroll, to see if it could help me come up with a name for the guild and I met the Rank 1 healer on the way and she was a very beautiful elf." Samael said jokingly.

"Beautiful, huh." Alice replied staring dangerously at her childhood friend.

Sami stroked his chin, his face seemed to be drowned in memories, his expression wretched, "Very Beautiful."

"BASTARD."

Samael burst out laughing looking at the aggrieved royal princess and put his arm around her shoulder, "I'm joking but I do think she will be a good addition to the guild and I have actually decided on a name for it."

The other four looked at him intrigued after all they hadn't thought of anything yet.

"Void's Owl ." he said, "The Owl represents wisdom and except from Feng Yutu none of us our daft."

"Hey!" Feng Yutu complained, Samael was like the bully big brother.

Samael smiled at Yutu'er and continued, "The void represents our journey towards immortality, people will create legends based on us and millions shall look up to us."

"Our emblem will be an owl behind the world it's huge wings cover it, if we get a talented enough forger maybe we could make something similar to Athena's heart not the increase in comprehension but the living owl automaton."

"We can make the automatons be able to call upon each other and as you rank up in the guild, your owl can be upgraded increasing the functions."

The four teenagers' eyes shone with excitement, the question that plagued them for a whole night was finally solved and Samael even created new ideas too they were ecstatic.

Xiao Ying looked at her watch and realised they were late for class as they delayed so much when talking about the guild so they all had to rush to class.

Idalia was standing on the stage and stared coldly at the group of five, "Why are you late to my lesson?"

Alice came forward to explain, "Miss we are all deeply sorry, we were discussing plans for our guild and lost track of time."

Ms Erus looked at Samael playfully and said, "As long as he apologises I will forget about it."

"Sorry." Samael said instantly unfazed that this was supposed to be an attack against him.

Idalia looked at him shocked, surprised that a noble could put down their pride and say sorry. "Fine! get to your seats" she said irritated.

"Yes miss." the five sat down.

Idalia finally began teaching, it was a generic lesson just going in more depth on techniques to use while fighting. "Alright class, since this day is finished, I would like everyone to announce their if they are creating a guild or not and if you are please say your guild names."

Alice began "Void's Owl. Guild."

Xiao Ying, Yutu'er and Acala all said they belonged to Void's Owl.

"Void's Owl, I just want to say I will be the chef for my guild so once a week you will be able to taste my cooking furthermore I have a lot of money as I have 2% share in Fortuna Inc. so I can definitely support our guild during the start up."

"Rich noble bastard." Idalia muttered.

The classroom buzzed with anticipation as Idalia called for the guild announcements. One by one, the students stepped forward, their voices carrying the weight of their ambitions and dreams. Each declaration was a statement of identity, a promise of what they would become.

Zi Tian was the first to speak after Alice. Her voice was cool and detached, her expression unreadable as she announced, "The Empress Pavilion. Women only." The words hung in the air, simple yet profound, a declaration of independence and strength. Her guild would be a sanctuary, a place where women could rise without the shadows of doubt or competition from men. The room fell silent for a moment, the weight of her words sinking in.

Next was Bellona, her fiery spirit evident in every word. "Iron and Blood," she declared, her voice ringing with excitement and determination. Her guild's name was a promise—a vow of resilience, of unyielding strength, and of battles fought and won. It was a name that demanded respect, and the room responded with murmurs of approval.

Then came Imum, the lich. His voice was soft, almost hesitant, as he stepped forward. "I've decided to join Umbral Feast," he said, his tone meek but sincere. "I don't think I have the qualities to start my own party or guild." His humility was striking, a rare trait among the proud and ambitious students of Tianjiao Academy. Yet, there was a quiet strength in his decision, a recognition of his limits and a willingness to find his place within something greater.

Many others followed, their voices filled with pride and ambition. They were the pinnacle of geniuses, after all, and their arrogance was as much a part of them as their talents. Guilds were formed with names that echoed their founders' aspirations—names like "Celestial Flame," "Eternal Dawn," and "Shadow's Edge." Each declaration was a spark, igniting the competitive spirit that would drive them forward.

Long Ke Ai and Eos, drawn by the promise of Samael's culinary prowess, joined Umbral Feast, with little hesitation. "Food reasons," Long Ke Ai said with a grin, earning a chuckle from the group. Eos nodded in agreement, his eyes sparkling with anticipation. Even in a world of cultivation and power, the simple pleasures of a good meal could forge bonds stronger than steel.

Marianne, her presence as alluring as it was enigmatic, announced her guild with a sly smile. "Luxure," she said, her voice dripping with charm. The name, French for "lust," was a reflection of her guild's philosophy—a celebration of desire, passion, and the pursuit of pleasure. It was a bold choice, one that raised eyebrows and sparked whispers, but Marianne seemed unbothered, her confidence unshakable.

Rosa, her eyes glowing with a magical, starry blue light, stepped forward to join Umbral Feast. Her decision was met with nods of approval, her quiet strength and mysterious aura a perfect fit for the guild. As she spoke her allegiance, the air seemed to shimmer, as if the stars themselves were blessing her choice.

Idalia watched it all with a knowing smile, her sharp eyes missing nothing. When the last announcement was made, she stepped forward, her voice cutting through the chatter. "Well, everyone, you can post your recruitment notices. Remember, only Heaven Class students can create guilds. If we allowed everyone to do so, there would be far too many. The rest of you can form parties."

Her words marked the end of the lesson, but the beginning of something much greater. The room erupted into a flurry of activity as students rushed to post their notices, their voices filled with excitement and determination. The air was electric, charged with the promise of new beginnings and the thrill of competition.

As the students dispersed, Idalia lingered for a moment, her gaze sweeping over the room. She could feel it—the birth of legends, the forging of alliances, and the spark of rivalries that would shape the future of Tianjiao Academy. The guilds were more than just groups; they were the seeds of destiny, planted in the fertile soil of ambition and nurtured by the fires of competition.

And so, the stage was set. The Empress Pavilion, Iron and Blood, Luxure, and Umbral Feast,—each guild carried the hopes and dreams of its members, each a reflection of the individuals who had brought it to life. The journey ahead would be fraught with challenges, but also with opportunities.

For in the halls of Tianjiao Academy, greatness was not just a possibility—it was an expectation.

The group of five quickly left, ready to put out their guild notice and headhunt for some talent but they heard a pixie like voice calling them.

"Mr Rank 1, wait up for me."

"Well fuck me." Mr Rank 1 said.
