Ch-3 - After Life

HELLO MATE! HAPPY HALLOWEEN..I TOLD YA I'LL BE COMING " SAID HARVEY WITH SMIRK ON HIS FACE SITTING WITH HIS GRANDMA AND HAVING COFFEE ON HIS DINNER TABLE WITH FANGS OUT!!

"Grandmaa! Just run...this guy sitting right over here is ...is a Va-vampire..he..he'll kill us" said Aiden with a trembling voice and rushed towards his grandmother, to protect her from harvey. He had tears in his eyes..covered with blood and wearing dress from 90's and having fake fangs. He didn't cared about the treats he got today on Halloween...right now all he could think about was his grams

Since the age of 3,only bestfriend that Aiden has is his grandmother. After his parents death in an accident, she was the one who took care of him and never let him felt alone all these years and Aiden too loved her more than anything.

More than anything that a sensitive child like him had the guts to stand in front of a vampire to protect his only bestfriend, his everything, his grandmother. Yet with fears in his eyes he was ready to face Harvey. His heart was beating fast

Every step harvey took towards him..it pounded more,he was breathing heavily. Although Aiden gathered his courage and stood still, but it was no match.

Harvey coming with his fangs out and laughed, "Aiden you got guts kid" he laughed and so did his grandmother. Aiden was in shock and was just stunned about what just happened. Does his grandmother know Harvey? Or is he just hallucinating?Od this even real?He was drowning in his thoughts.

"Hey mate i mean no harm, instead I'm your Godfather,your grandmothers friend too. Agh you've grown so much!!" said harvey with a smile and grandmother nodded with smile too towards Aiden. Well this was a shocking revelation to Aiden and all of this just made him feel stuck for a moment

"Waiiiitttt what do you mean mis-te..mister vampire..you know my grams? You're my godfather? You knew my dad? Ugh it's so much to take and all I can feel now is my body getting cold and m- my heart beating at 150. Grams you never told me about these things? Is even everything real?" Said Aiden with a disappointment.

"Oh poor Aiden, I love you son but there are somethings i had to hide and was waiting for the right time Aid, and it was untill I met harvey few days back when he came back to the town, we thought it might be the time to know about everything you need to" said grams with deep look towards Aiden

"But how come the guy I never knew can even come in my dream?"asked Aiden "well mate thats perk of being a vampire..I somehow can control your dreams and that nightmare was my compulsion and mind control..just trying to mess with ya! Haha thought would be fun" laughed harvey "Jenn knows that too i was at you home that day"

"Fun? You thought fun? Really grams? I was unable to sleep 2 days and now this surprise? Whats wrong with everyone" said Aiden aggressively. "Calm down Youngblood" sighed Harvey

"Joseph! What about him you attacked him oh no God! You're a monster, Grams he attacked Joseph from my school " Said Aiden. "Wait really harvey? I told you not to create any mess "said grams with anger.

"Jennifer I can explain, okay. He was Aiden's bully and I just taught him a lesson. Don't worry I had him under compulsion and made him forget everything that happened tonight and healed the wound so yeah it's win -win he'll never bully you again Aid. I'm your Godfather its least I can do to help you."

"Last warning Harvey" in strict tone said Jennifer. "Yes ma'am,got it ma'am"replied Harvey.

"Can just somebody please tell me whats going on? How is he your friend and my godfather? He knew my parents? How??" Questioned Aiden. "HOLD On young man, see first of all you need to know is that supernatural things exist. This world is darker place than you know. Its never about running around happy and getting things done in your ways. Life, it's tough its harsh. You have a lot to know" Harvey told him.

He continued "I'm Harvey Holmes. Born in london ,raised there. I'm your Godfather because I was your parents close friend and the one they could blindly trust. I can die for them in heartbeat. Seeing you after 14 years melts my heart. Your father was more than brother to me. Your grams is kindest lady I ķnow. I've known her from last 46 years. "

"46 years??? But you look hardly 30." Aiden was amazed.

"Well you know perk of being a vampire? Your life story doesn't ends after death and you can be ETERNAL STUD FOREVER! YESSS!. I died when I was 27 in 1917 during world war 1. I was bitten by vampire and he gave me his blood and killed me. Swear that was so painful. Technically I'm 133 years old but I look 27 . Gets me lots of girls though"

They laughed. "Well the one who killed me was my own friend. So all my AFTER LIFE I've been on war against him. He did so many wrong things. We have to clear things between us. " Harvey continued. "He is accountable for every wrong thing happened in my life. He made everything mess."

"Who is he? What happened between you and him?"Questioned Aiden. "Son, lets just save this for another day. I gotta drink and enjoy this Halloween." Replied Harvey.

"Jenn do you got some gooood wine cause I need it badly. Ugh these memories still haunt me. I need booze!" Said harvey to grams.

" Its down in the basement Harvey" answered mrs miller. "Thanks jenn!"Said harvey and he was going towards basement. He stopped and took a pause.

"Also do you know you're a wizard ?and you're from witches and wizards bloodline" said harvey. Well that was something that made Aiden flabbergasted and surprised. Aiden a common sensitive fella is a WIZARD! DAMN!

"I'M A WIZARD? DON'T MOCK ME HARVEY" said Aiden shockingly. "Well you'll know soon as I said let save other things for some other day. I gotta drink . HAPPY HALLOWEEN! AND YES KID YOU'RE WIZARD,YOUR GRAMS A WITCH. BYEE! I GOTTA GO AND ENJOY" Harvey said in a hurry.

"Alsooo that Angelica girl , she's pretty" Harvey said with a smirk on his face and Aiden blushed. "Oh yeah, she is right?"she's just awesome and so beautiful"

" I know mate. Now let me go and happy Halloween. You should go and enjoy with your friends and Angelica." Harvey replied and laughed

"Man, you're awesome and creepy" both! Said Aiden

Aiden took his bike and rushed towards school.

The air was thin and everything was calm but this was not going to last long. A vampire in max city! Back after 14 years.

" Why would you tell him he's a wizard, harvey? He's just a kid and I've been taking care of my grandson and keeping him away from these things as much as possible " sighed grandmother.

"Jenn I get it, buneAiden needs to know who he is and who we're against. If we're late, he'll catch us up and I don't wanna let Aiden's parents sacrifice go in vain. They died for my safety, for Aiden. We have to retaliate and as soon as possible, before its too late. Rumors are He's back and is on hunt" said Harvey.

"He's back ?" Questioned grams who was completely stunned and shocked.

"Yes , HE IS BACK ,MORE AGGRESSIVE, MORE POWERFUL, FILLED WITH VENGEANCE AND IS ON HUNT" said Harvey with fears in his eyes.
