The night of the hunt

To bleed or not to bleed. That is all that matters in the world of dreams as Virgil Whimsyshire awakens in a town unknown. In this world, all hunters within are on a quest to unlock the memories taken from them before being thrown into this nightmare, ultimately waking them and setting them free of this curse. Virgil seems to have a knack for the hunt, disposing of foes with much ease in comparison to his fellow... contemporaries. This concerns him, and the people around him. Just who was Virgil Whimsyshire? Why are the only memories he seems to retain are his name, and instincts to kill?
