The Eternal Darkness

Eira's consciousness was trapped in a void, unable to escape. She was aware of nothing but the darkness, a never-ending abyss that seemed to have a life of its own.

Time lost all meaning as she drifted through the void, her mind consumed by the shadows. She was reliving her worst memories, her deepest fears.

And then, a faint light appeared in the distance. Eira's heart raced as she reached out towards it, her voice barely a whisper. "Aria?"

The light grew brighter, illuminating the dark landscape. Eira saw Aria standing before her, her eyes filled with a sorrowful regret. "I'm sorry, Eira. I failed you."

Eira's mind reeled as she realized the truth. Aria had been possessed by the darkness all along, her actions a ruse to lure Eira into the trap.

As the darkness closed in once more, Eira knew she was doomed. The last thing she saw was Aria's face, her eyes filled with a malevolent glow.

And then, the darkness consumed her forever.
