Chapter 2: The search begins

My request to leave the army was due to Alan light the asset that died under my care and I was determined to fulfill his last request. His daughter Tessa light was an esper just like him and he wanted me to find her, she was somewhere in London. Now there was no way I would just leave the USA to go to London just after leaving the army I mean even I'm not that stupid so I waited I became a psychiatrist and started to help people for about a year. After that, I departed for London  I had been going to stay with some family while l looked for Tessa.

You know that feeling you get when your thoughts wander off my eyes had caught the attention of a young girl standing in the middle of a park with her long black hair as the wind gently blew it. I found myself entrance she look worried for some reason with my powers I deduced that she was having problems in school,

"Hmm, she goes to Cambridge,"

I thought to myself I approach her, and she turned to look at me,

"Are you a tourist?" she spoked

"Me?"

"Yes you, is there anyone else, around here," she said with a calm and blunt voice.

"Well you could call me a tourist but I think I will be spending a while here"

"Is that so" she muttered.

"So lovely miss what may I call you?"

"It's only polite to give your name before asking for strangers," she said once again with a blunt voice.

"You're absolutely right my name is Alex Haze and yours"

"My name is Clarissa heart," she said finally turning to look at me as our eyes met, I notice it was the color hazel

"You know Mr. Haze I don't think I like you very much".

And why is that Ms heart?"

"You're too blunt about your approach," she said

"Ever heard the saying if the shoe fits"

I muttered back.

"You say something"

"O no I said nothing" I replied with a smile on my face

"Well them Mr. Alex I must be going"

"Ok them Ms. Clarissa, maybe I see you again some time," I said as she walked off.

"I will definitely be seeing you again Mr. Alex," she said looking back with the most beautiful smile I have ever seen in my life

Ok I said to myself that was weird I left the park and made my way to the countryside where my uncle lived I soon approach a huge house I can almost be called a mansion I step out of the car to meet my uncle

"Hey theirs my freak nephew long time no see"

I really hate you I said to myself

"Hey uncle long time, no see you look good"

Ok pause for a minute now my uncle is not a bad person the reason I have him is that, well because I don't have a reason I just hate him it certainly had nothing to do with the fact that he calls me a free with a smile on his face. Ok maybe a little as I made my way up the stairs I said to myself I promise I will find and protect you, Tessa
