The centipede casualties continued to mount as explosion after explosion went off. The remaining hunters were doing everything in their power to stop them, while at the same time protecting the borders and preventing civilian casualties.
But the level A centipede beast was a clever beast. If it couldn't defeat the hunters above ground, it would try to hide underground and hunt them down again. Although they could prevent this most of the time, the hunters had another situation in mind.
What if the centipedes went underground into the city? This was the situation that scared and worried them the most. Even Vera Dores finally agreed to stop being arrogant and ask the League for help.
