Chapter 78: An Ordinary Day

After days of turmoil, Cale had returned to his normal life at the academy. He was attending classes, continuing to train in the facilities and checking on the plans being carried out in the background.

Hope had recently completed her mission and delivered Brendon's ring to him. She added that Brendon had taken a liking to her in recent conversations. 

Although Cale had told her that she didn't have to deal with Brendon if she wanted to, Hope had told him she would stay close to Brendon for a while, hoping to learn more from him. In the meantime, it was necessary for them not to be seen with each other too much so that Brendon would not become suspicious.

The students at the academy assumed it was because of Amaris. Hope and Cale were doing their duty by letting them think that way. In the process, Cale was able to break the seal inside Brendon's ring thanks to chaos energy.
