"Is it weird how I'm nervous to see all them again? It's been a whole year, hell I haven't even spoken to my parents yet." Nicole asked while the three were getting closer to Bebe's house. They could see the fire pit off in the distance.
"Are you kidding? They will love seeing you. You it's a lot to process and you have to realize you will be tackled by Bebe and Wendy with some hugs. I probably won't see you the rest of the night either. I just returned today so the guys still want to hang out with me as well." Token said while looking over at his ex.
She let out a sigh. "I forgot about the girls. I remember high school was so different. Now I just.. I don't know who I can trust."
Token held his hand out ready to grab her hand. His heart jolted as he realized he couldn't do that. He quickly put his hand back at his side. "Uhh yeah, but we have to move past everything that has changed and make the best of all this." He said while feeling his face heat up as he almost held her hand by instinct. Jess looked over at the two as she could feel the awkward vibe from her amulet. She wanted to ask why they felt this way but thought it might be best to push that question past her. When the two were noticed by the group surrounding the fire, the three felt all eyes on them.
"Hey Token, where you been? What were you and Jess doi- wait who's that?" Clyde asked while looking at Nicole really confused.
It was fairly dark as no one could really make of what Nicole looked like at this time. Token stood in the light of the flame as he looked back noticing Nicole didn't want to show her face. He felt his heart accelerate as he held his hand out hoping she didn't reject his offer. Nicole felt her whole body shake as she looked down at Token offering his hand. Her heart was beating out of her chest as she grabbed his hand. Token as patient as he didn't pull her from the shadows. She slowly walked away from the darkness. The second she showed her face the group let out a few gasps.
"Holy shit, is that... Nicole?" Kyle asked.
"Guys, me and Jess went out in the woods and found Nicole there. She has been hiding in the woods as she didn't know who she could trust. I hope you all give her some space but also welcome her as she's a bit overwhelmed." Token said while looking at his group.
The boys remained silent as Bebe and Wendy didn't seem to listen to his words as they let out cries of happiness as they threw themselves at Nicole with a powerful hug. Token quickly let go of Nicole's hand as he knew the two would steal his ex for the rest of the night. He sighed as he looked over at Jess who was watching from the shadows. 'She is awfully curious.. Maybe we can show her a few new things this evening. It could be like a fun game. I don't know why but I'm kinda fixated on making this HER evening more than mine. She did save me and Spencer and... I guess Nicole too.. man what would we do without this girl?'

Nicole slowly opened up throughout the night. She was introduced to the new members as they didn't hesitate to introduce each other. Jess met Nicole as she was the only one sitting by herself as something seemed wrong. However, she was keeping to herself. She let out a sigh as she held her hand up. She focused on liquidizing her hand. Seeing the ink slowly seep down past her wrist down to her arm. "Hey, you look bored." She looked up from her hand. She saw someone she began growing very fond of as a small smile crept on her face. "I am bored." She stated while looking back at her hand. She heard a chair pull up next to her as she saw her visitor get closer. "Do you want to experience a few new things tonight?" Her eyes jumped to him as her smile grew bigger. "Yeah!!" She cheered as she jumped up from her seat. "Okay, why don't you follow me inside. We will make an evening of it?" Jess sparked with happiness as she was excited to spend some alone time with the one known as Night Stalker.

"Oh, oh what's that?!" Jess asked as she pointed at another item in the kitchen.
Spencer let out a small chuckle as he walked over to the oven. "It's called an oven. It helps cook food."
"Oh what that?!" Jess said as if she had ADHD, as her attention went to the other big item in the kitchen.
Spencer walked over to the fridge as he opened the doors. "This is a refrigerator. You keep your food cold or frozen."
"Oh, what that?" Jess asked while pointing at the button on the fridge door.
Spencer smiled as he had an idea. He touched the buttons as he was adjust the settings.
"What are you doing?" Jess asked as she watched very carefully.
"You'll see." He said while cupping his hand out under the button. Pushing his hand against the button the fridge made a noise Jess was startled by as she backed away while her fist formed into a ink blade without her realizing.
Spencer looked over at her as he held an ice cube to her. Jess looked at it as if she was unsure what to do. "Touch it." Spencer said wanting to see her reaction.
She looked up at him as she felt she could trust him. She held her regular hand as she poked the ice cube. She quickly pulled her finger back as she realized it was wet and cold. "Weird huh?" Jess nodded as she was still looking at it weird as she saw it melting in his hand. Suddenly she watched him in more confusion as he popped it in his mouth. Her mouth gaped open as she heard the crunching as he was eating the ice.
"Did you want to try one?" He asked.
She simply nodded as curiosity got the best of her. He held his hand under the button again as an ice cube fell on his hand. Looking back he could see she looked a little nervous. "It's okay, it won't hurt you. That's why I showed you before I'd offer." He said in a way that she could trust him. Jess's face heated slightly as she appreciated his kindness and patience. He held his hand out as she slowly pinched the ice cube with two fingers. She slightly squealed as it melted out of her grasp as it fell. She quickly grabbed the cube from the fall as she was scared she would break it somehow. While she held the ice cube she saw it melting in her hand. She watched as she saw a small puddle forming around the cube. Her mouth fell slightly open as she could feel the wetness and the cold begin to consume her hand.
"Why don't you try eating it?" Spencer asked while still amused by the view.
She looked up at Spencer as he was looking in her eyes. Something fluttered inside her. Something she never felt before. A none existing heart somehow... as if she had a heart, it was fluttering just by looking in his eyes. She felt her cheeks hurt as they were burning yet again. She quickly shook this feeling off as she was nervous she would creep him out. She looked down at the ice cube while popping it in her mouth. Her eyes shot open when she crushed the cube between her teeth. Spencer let out a cute chuckle as he thought her reaction was priceless. "Weird huh?" He asked again. She nodded as she swallowed the cube. "It's frozen water. When there's any kinda of heat touching the ice it begins to melt. That's why it's cold." He said while looking around for another interesting thing to show her. "What's this?" He heard. He looked over noticing she was already in the living room looking at a paper on the table. Spencer walked over to Jess as she was looking at something really fascinated. He looked at the paper as he could see a glowing drawing. His eyes widened himself as it looked just like the amulet on her neck. He looked over at her seeing her amulet beaming along with the drawing. 'This is the drawing Shay drew to make her this way.. Something that should be more hidden.' Spencer thought as he grabbed the page while looking around. "This is something very important to you and your creator, let's find a better place to hide this from it getting destroyed. The two looked around for a simple place to put the drawing. Spencer walked in the kitchen as he opened a cabinet. Jess walked over as she saw him holding a small wooden box. Jess watched as he opened the box while putting the page inside. She looked up at him as the words he spoke went to her none existing heart. "This way no one can take you away." Something sparked her emotions as his simple words made her feel like she had an actual heart. Tears built in her eyes as she chocked up. Spencer was shocked as he didn't know what to say or do. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to make you cr-" His eyes shot open as he was taken back by a powerful hug. He held his hands out as he was still dumbfounded she was actually hugging him. He knew she wasn't a human but only a drawing, but in his eyes.. she was the only one he wanted to be this close with. She wasn't a thing, creature, or monster in his eyes. She is something more meaningful than any word he could come up with. She is his savior.
