11 11): Knowing (1)

(Authors' Note: This is not a Harem, this is just your typical teen having tough choices after being in a world that he has dreamed of. Even I don't know what girl I really want him with yet, that will change as it goes on though, don't think this is a done deal yet until maybe end of season on, until then it will be all like indecision for him.)

"We should probably talk about this later, who knows what he could hear." Isaac said while thinking about the enhanced hearing that Scott obviously had.

Danny nodded his head in understanding, "Sounds good, rather not have him know we know and he suddenly does something about it. So are we still working out today?"

Isaac shook his head, "No can't today, I start my new job right after practice so I will be going there, I work until one tonight too. These practices will be all the real workouts I get until I get mornings off on weekends, mind waiting until then?"

"Sure thing, I can use after school to spend working on lacrosse, homework and my boyfriend." Danny said nodding.

"Alright boys get over here, line up today were are doing drills for shots, get past the defender who is Jackson in this insistence and make the shot you each only have ten seconds to score." Coach said gaining all of the teams attention as he blew his whistle and began to shout at everyone.

Isaac walked away but wasn't surprised by Danny taking everything so well, he knew that the guy found out, he didn't know when but he knew that he did in the show. He did date a guy that was one half of an alpha pair after all, also there was the fact that Stiles and Scott seemed to think that they were in their own world when they talked and people around them couldn't hear them.

As he was lining up he ended up near the end, he saw Scott near the front so this must be where he would injure Jackson, seeing as it was near the first game that made sense. Rolling the stick in his hands he didn't pay attention much, while he was doing that he felt someone looking at him though, looking to the side he saw that Ana was there.

Raising a brow on the inside of his helmet, not that she would know he watched her too, he didn't pay attention to coach's yelling at Greenberg to run faster. That kid could never get anything right, he actually wondered for a moment what would have happened if he was reincarnated as Greenberg, which might have put him out the line of fire.

Well actually that might not have stopped him from meeting Allison still, after knowing her he doesn't think that he could actually give up being friends with her.

The two stared at one another until Isaac heard the familiar words, "Then do it again. McCall's gonna do it again! McCall's gonna do it again! Let's go!" Coach was yelling at the line as Scott was moving back towards the line so he could have another shot at his one-on-one.

The whole team watched as he lined up again, gripping his stick he rushed out to Jackson who thought it would be like before, though it wasn't as he was thrown back. Shaking his head he knew that Jackson was injured, he looked over to Danny who was also shaking his head, it seemed he also knew that it was about Scott using a bit of his powers.

While they were all worrying about Jackson he moved over to Ana who put her book down and stood up, "Well this is one place I didn't expect to meet you at, nothing better to do after school then watch me then?" He said as he took off his helmet.

"Is he going to be okay?" She asked pointing somewhere behind him.

"Don't worry about Jackson the guy is a ---" He didn't get to finish as she shook her head.

"No, I am talking about the one being taken into the school by his friend. The one who hit Jackson." She explained letting him realize that she was watching Stiles take Scott back to the locker room.

"Oh those two. Yeah they will be fine, Scott has just been a little weird for these past couple of days." He said while looking over and actually catching Derek looking at the boy who was being taken into the locker room. It was his first time really seeing Derek, and it seemed the man felt it too as he looked over and the two of them locked eyes.

Though for some reason he saw Derek look surprised before the man walked away, Isaac didn't think about it to much though and turned to look back at Ana who was smiling at him, "To answer your question I thought I would watch you practice today, but all I have seen is you stand in line for the past twenty minutes." She said while rocking on her heels.

He nodded hearing that since it was true, he hadn't been doing anything but waiting for his turn at the one-on-one, "Well there is nothing else I could have been doing, our first game is coming up soon so I have to just follow what the coach says until that game comes."

She nodded then paused a moment looking him over, "What are you doing after this, I think that if we are really going to get closer then there are some things you need to know."

He raised a brow since it seemed she was being so serious about it, "Well I work at the diner tonight until one, after that I am going home."

"How often are you working at the diner?" she asked.

"Three days this week, but for sure Friday and Saturday night." He said thinking it over since they called him letting him know he was working every other day but for sure Friday's and Saturday's, he was lucky his games were Tuesday's and sometimes Thursday's like the one coming up.

She smiled, "Alright, how about I meet you at the diner after your shift tonight? I can pick you up and we can talk after while I give you a ride home."

He nodded, "Sounds good, I should get back out there though."

She waved him along while going back to her seat on the bleachers getting back into her book, he smiled at that, it seemed she wasn't into the game but at least she stayed to show some moral support.

After practice he went straight to work, he had messaged Allison some during where she kept bugging him about how work was going, she also told him about her and Scott working it out. He knew that it would happen so it wasn't much of a surprise to him that it did, he knew that the guy would mess it up though later down the line.

Honestly they were an okay couple he couldn't see any good or bad about them being together, though he saw them better as friends seeing as Allison couldn't love him as much as he loved her. Which again he knew it was because of all the death that happened in her family, along with her family doing her wrong, the only person really looking out for her was her dad.

Sighing as he cleaned another table he decided he would tell her, although he loved her character development he was going to make sure she knew everything before big things happened. He didn't need Allison to be led by the nose again, it really messed her up and her view of the world.

As his shift was coming to and end he saw that Ana was already there waiting at the counter for him, he almost forgot that she was coming to send him home. He sent her a wave as he was taking the last meal to the lone person who was sitting in the diner, the man was looking out the window but had been on his laptop for over an hour.

From the little things he could see he was making some sort of story, Isaac didn't bother to look at it since his screen was to dark to even seen it all clearly.

"Hey you." He said with a smile to Ana as he walked over to the counter, since it only had one customer he didn't need to walk around the diner anymore to check on anyone else.

"Hey, almost ready to go?" She asked with a smile setting her book down again, so far other then the party he has not seen her without a book.

"Yeah this has been a long shift." He said while rolling his neck, though he loved the tips he was making tonight alone he made a hundred and fifty in tips something he didn't expect. Now though all he wanted to do was go home fall into his own bed and go to sleep, well after he got this smell off of him.

"I bet you look worn. Seeing as you have to get up at six for school, then school, then practice, then come here to work it is no wonder you are tired." She said with a smile while placing a hand on his arm as he was leaning on the counter resting his head.

"Yeah, but I need the money. Plus this is way better then helping my father in the graveyard every night." Which was half true, he would still need to see how much money he mad here but seeing as he made tips it was already better then making graves for the dead.

She nodded her head, "Well I am going out to the car, it is now 12:58, I want to see you sitting in the passenger seat by no later then 1:01 so we can get you home and into bed. Plus we still need to talk."

He nodded his head, "Yeah I will be there."

Smiling she kissed his cheek before she walked out of the diner, he couldn't move his eyes away from her hips the entire time she was walking out, she just looked way to sexy as she made her way out. Sighing he made his way to the back before clocking out, all he did was grab his bag before leaving with a shout to the manager who would manage his table.

He walked right over to the car he saw Ana in before sliding into it, she had already started it and the heating was on, it was getting colder even if they were in California it was still getting colder. Man he wished he was somewhere that it snowed, he was going to miss seeing it every winter.

She didn't start talking immediately as she took off, he had already given her his address so she didn't need to ask him, the phone was leading them right to his house. When they were a little further away from the diner that is when she finally decided it was time for her to start speaking, "So about what I wanted to tell you."

"Yeah go ahead." He said somewhat sleepily as he yawned while looking over at her with a small smile, the car ride was feeling to good and he was almost asleep because of it.

"I thought that if we are going to start anything between us then you needed to know more about me, not just the small things that I told you at the party. Like some of the more personal things so you can really understand why I act the way I do sometimes." She said with a smile.

"Come on just tell me, I am sure there is nothing you can say that will surprise me to much." He said with a grin as he reached over taking one of her hands and squeezing it for moral support.

"Alright," She said while taking a deep breath, "Then you should know that I am a..."
