The New Guy

[COMPLETED] "If you leave me like this, I'm afraid this here", he tapped his index finger on the right temple of his head and grinned, "will finally snap." ______________________________________________________ When Yoon Se Ah, an ordinary office worker, meets Lee Min Hyun, their department's new intern, she thinks of him no more than a fool in love. However, as their relationship develops, her life makes its turn for the worst, throwing her at his mercy in the end. Turns out that Min Hyun, the very same guy that was groveling at Se Ah's feet is actually a dangerous and unstable person who has been obsessed with her ever since their first encounter. And he knows the dark truth about the past she's been trying so hard to hide from everybody else. With Min Hyun's unsettling feelings, his dangerous family drama, and Se Ah's own contradicting desires, who is the actual bad guy there? And will both of them get what they want in the end? This story is about two mentally broken people who cannot give one another what they want, even though deep inside they wish they would find solace in each other, thus, although there is no "real" romance, they still manage to form their own twisted connection, and they don't really mind it. WARNING: This story contains very mature and sometimes graphic content and touches upon unpleasant and uncomfortable topics.

Back To Reality

Slowly, everything started to fall back into place for Se Ah. Kang Da Hye, just like everybody else, remained uninformed about what had happened in "Red Velvet" on her first night working there, however, Se Ah still decided to quit that job and asked her friend to get a different part-time position somewhere else under the pretense of physical exhaustion from her daytime job, and once her wish was granted, Se Ah was finally able to move on from everything related to Lee Min Hyun. And, thankfully, from Yang Min Seok as well.

Her new part-time job, thanks to Da Hye's consideration and generosity, was not difficult at all - she had to work as the evening manager in the raving hostess bar "Tea Rose", and her only responsibilities were to greet the guests, show them to their rooms, and make sure their recreation was satisfactory.

With that, and the positive progress at her full-time job, it finally seemed like her life was regaining its stability once again. Life was going on.
