The Unification of the Chinese Empire

With the attack on the Port of Qingdao, the Republic of China has lost it's slight advantage over the Chinese Empire that it had.

Qingdao was it's main trade port for foreign equipment, and now that it was taken the Republic of China could no longer get support as fast as they did before.

At the Port the Chinese Empire rose the Imperial Flag showing all vessels that get close that this port belonged to them.

Meanwhile Jarvis had taken his army to the Northern most Frontline and had began his attack. 

The Republic of China soldier's didn't stand a chance as they were in the middle of reorganizing their frontlines and adjusting their supply situation.

They had begun talks with the other major power's in order to redirect supplies to another Port or find a land route that could suite them.

And while this was going on Jarvis was pushing the Republic of China soldier's back.

For the next 15 days Jarvis and his army had continuously attacked the Republic of China Frontlines along with the Chinese Imperial soldiers.

It was 15 day's of continuous battles that always ended in the Republic of China losing while the Arcadian forces reigned supreme over.

And it was at this point that every day hundreds of Republican soldier's began to lay down their arms and surrender to the Arcadian forces.

The situation had developed into chaos as after a few days as they had thousands of soldier's in camps but not enough food to feed them.

So Jarvis had food shipped from Arcadia to Mainland China and distributed throughout the camps.

Every soldier who surrendered was treated not as an enemy but as a fellow soldier who just ended up on the wrong side of the war.

In camp's you could see mini games being played between the Chinese soldier's who surrendered, the Chinese Imperial soldiers, and the Arcadian soldier's.

By now 20 days had passed since the beginning of this campaign that Jarvis had commenced. And it was also nearing it's end.

During those 15 days of attacking the Republic of China's frontlines multiple coastal invasion's were successful, taking the remaining port's and coastal cities that the Republic of China had.

And now they were landlocked with, not a lot of land left and their soldier's didn't want to fight anymore, the major power's couldn't help them anymore leaving them to make a difficult decision.

And that decision was made by the Prime Minister of the Republic of China on Jun 21st 2024. The Prime Minister of the Republic of China officially announced their surrender.

And not only that but he and the other top official's had fled the country leaving the people and the soldier's behind.

This action had made the people resent the former government for abandoning them instead of facing the situation together as a nation.

So when the Chinese Imperial soldier's marched through the last city controlled by the Republic of China they were met with cheers.

Not only that but the soldier's who surrendered were allowed to go free back to their families without any punishments.

Peace at last had come to the Chinese people as they were united as one nation now under the rule of Emperor Zhao Shui.

But this was only the start as now Jarvis would not let those that chose to interfere get away with something like this.

Especially Russia since they proposed to be allies during the first revealing of the Continent, but now they were fighting on the other side.

Jarvis didn't care that they were afraid of Arcadian influence spreading across the world or whatever it was.

So he planned to give a little payback against all the major power's that helped the Republic of China causing even more people to be killed then necessary.

And he wasn't exaggerating since nearly 2.5 million Chinese were killed during the war, if you include the deaths during the Japanese Chinese War then it was 3.6 million. And if you include the total number of deaths including civilians then it was 4.1 million.

This was a lot of people even if China had a population of 1.2 Billion.

And with it's unification the Chinese Empire has become the 2nd Largest country in term's of population and the 4th largest in term's of land mass with Russia being #1, Canada #2, and the US at #3.

And now that the War is over the Chinese Empire could relax on military spending as it was now at peace so a lot of soldier's were transferred to the reserves to preserve military equipment.

While this happened Jarvis and his army had returned to Arcadia while he left behind only 50k soldier's to placed around the border's of the Chinese Empire for support.

Arcadia and the Chinese Empire at this point were very strong allies and they already had many treaties signed for about everything.

Meanwhile while the war had ended in China a new war was brewing in the Middle East. It had been reported that the UK which has military bases in it's territory of Oman has been attack by Terrorist groups who look to free Oman from the UK rule.

This Terrorist group was said to be backed by the Islamic Republic of Iran who looked to expand their influence to other part's of the Middle East.

In response the UK had sent more forces to Oman to bolster their defenses including a Carrier Strike.

In response the Islamic Republic of Iran began to support Terrorist groups to cause trouble all throughout the region.

Many of the Major power's of the world were getting angry as their overseas colonies had began to be targeted.

And Africa wasn't spared either as a war was brewing between various nation's over petty claims that go back centuries.

One could say that right now the world tension was at 50% and 20% of that was caused by the Chinese War.
