Say What Now?!?

Dracon's Point of View:

     I was always a bit of an introvert growing up, never liking large crowds, and only liking my select few people, and was honestly content to spend my days spending time with friends, reading, or wandering through the forest near home. I always felt that I never quite fit in with the other girls my age, always preferring the company of the animals, and that was encountered on my walks. My family always told me that I had a bond with animals, they always joked I was like Steve Irwin.

     Several months before my 24th birthday, I woke up with an intense feeling of restlessness, and that something was off. I couldn't shake the feeling that I was no longer the same anymore. Something was changing within me. On the outside, I looked the same but something within me was new, was different. While making my way through the forest, I started to notice that my senses were sharper than usual. I was able to see even without glasses and hear things that had never really been noticed before.

       While wandering aimlessly through the forest, my sight seemed dream-like, and I had suddenly found a clearing that I had never come across before, even though I had wandered this forest plenty of times over the years. In the middle of the clearing was a beautiful lake, with fish resembling koi fish, and sitting by the edge was a gorgeous fit warrior woman who looked strangely familiar.

     As I approached the woman, I couldn't help but search through my memories, only to become more confused about why the woman looked familiar. The gorgeous woman looked so surreal, her eyes had an otherworldly glow to them, and her hands gestered next to her as a gorgeous snow leopard stepped from behind her. I almost couldn't believe the snow leopard with saber-like teeth spoke to me.

     The she-cat told me about my bloodline. That I came from a long line of powerful werecats. Though there hasn't been a werecat in several generations, I wasn't just any werecat, but I was related to the royal family. She had been waiting for me to awaken on my own, though apparently I was a late bloomer.

     I was in complete and utter shock, but also extremely excited that I was apart from a world I always loved to read and dream about. This was something I was excited to learn more about. Considering I was a huge fan of mythical creatures. The Saber-tooth snow leopard introduced herself as Liliona. She told me how she was my feline and explained how to go about transforming into her.

    As the sun slowly moved to different positions in the sky, I calmed down from the excitement and listened to her speak. When Liliona spoke as she imparted some knowledge upon me about the pride of being a werecat, I couldn't help but smile, as I was happy to be part of a world I only dreamed of. As I became more comfortable with my new identity and embraced my new werecat heritage. I found a sense of belonging when before I felt something missing in my life.

     But with my new abilities also came new responsibilities. I will have to learn how to navigate the complicated policies of the werecats and protect myself from many possible dangers such as other supernatural creatures, hunters, and anyone else who could see me as a potential threat.

     Despite these new challenges, I am grateful for the new world I was now a part of, and I finally felt that I belonged somewhere and had a purpose in life. I was no longer just a lonely girl, but a powerful werecat who would do anything to protect her family and home. As I walked home, I looked up and saw a letter taped on the door, and I reached out and opened it.

 Dear Miss Dracon SkyWoods,

    I hope this letter finds you well. I believe that it is important for us to connect. I want to share my knowledge and experiences with you. I am writing this to request a meeting with you. Whenever your earliest convenience is to discuss the rules of being a werecat, and also the laws of the Mythics. As we both know, our mythical abilities come with a great deal of power and responsibility, and you must understand and abide by the rules set in place to maintain the balance and harmony of our kind.

    During the meeting, I would love to share some of the ancient wisdom and traditions that have been passed down throughout the generations before us. I understand that you may be busy with your life before, but I truly believe that this meeting will be extremely valuable information for you. Please let me know when you can meet and where you would like to meet at, and I will make the necessary arrangements to make it. I look really forward to finally meeting with you.
