2 Reunited

With shivering knees, my body falls unconsciously, hands trembling as I hold both of my legs trying to stand up but tumbled over and over again, I don't know what to think, the quiet atmosphere in the forest started to eat my remaining sanity as I hold my head with trembling hands.

Pacifico: What the hell is this game!?

A sudden gust of wind startled me, followed by small tremors every 10 seconds. I stood up and grabbed the piece of metal and the spear that I found. I started to run deep in the forest and began to notice that the banging sound of the tremors is getting louder, like thunderous sounds ringing inside my head. I started hearing a crackling noise, a kind of noise that you will get if you break a tree branch, as I stare to my right I notice that the trees from afar started to flatten one by one, a giant foot that resembles an elephant foot.

Pacifico: H...How can an elephant foot be that big!?

I started running in the opposite direction, I stumbled and fall a few times before arriving in a place near a stream of water. As I look back, I saw how big and monstrous the creature is.

Pacifico: A... A mammoth!?

I fell on my ass because of the shock.

Over the horizon, I saw a 10,000 meters tall mammoth with large ivory sweeping the mountain tops with its head touching the azure blue sky, a monster which is much taller than mountains and skyscrapers stunned me.

I waited there patiently before the giant animal past the vicinity, I gathered my wits and crossed the cold stream and ended up on the other side of the forest.

Pacifico: Did the game scans the whole district for the game map?

I started to think about things clearly, and my first objection is to see another one like me inside the game.

Pacifico: The stream. If the game scanned the full map of our district, then the flow that I stumbled too is the boundary of District A and B.

My classmate Julio lives near the end of District B near the canal. So I started following the stream down south trying to remember the map. As I walked past the flow of water, I heard a weak voice and saw Julio running for his life, being chased by 2 Carnivorous Rabbit.

I grabbed my spear and hid from a tree, I then revealed my head for Julio to see, I then signal him to run towards me, he suddenly cried and smiled after seeing a familiar face, he then dashed towards me followed by the 2 Carnivorous Rabbits.

As Julio ran passed me, I lowered my body and launched right through one of the Carnivorous Rabbit, stabbing it right into ts stomach while it jumped in the air, trying to bite on Julio's shoulder. After killing one, I drew the metallic plate and hit the second one in the head, staggering the creature, I then stabbed its body with a spear.

Julio: Thank God you're here!

Pacifico: Are you ok? Have you seen other players?

Julio: That rabbit chased me after logging in! I didn't have the time to see if there are other players.

I then approached the rabbit while listening to Julio, I grabbed the rabbit by the neck and grabbed one of his eyes and pulled it out.

Julio: W...What are you doing, bro! That's disgusting.

It's true. The sensation of putting my fingers right through the eyes of the rabbit is so real like I'm in the real world. I can feel the gooey texture of the blood, as I pulled the eyes I can feel and hear the squishy sounds of the nerved popping out.

Pacifico: It's for a quest. I need 10 eyes to finish a journey.

Julio: I...I don't have that quest.

Pacifico: Try opening your player interface, see if a message popped up without you noticing it.

Julio opened his player interface and saw an exclamation mark in one of the tabs.

Julio: There! I found it, by the way, how did you acquire a weapon? What's up with that metal thing?

Pacifico: There are no proper weapons available right now, you must craft your own weapon using the resources around you.

Julio: Are you serious!? That sucks!

Pacifico: I know, but if you just fight barehanded, then you will surely die.

Julio looked around to search for the weapon and found a rock.

Julio: Is this good?

Pacifico: This game is not like any other game, everything here is a weapon.

Julio: ok! Now let's hunt those bunnies.

Pacifico: No, Let's regroup first! Let's find the others first.

Julio: How can we find the others! We don't even know where we are.

Pacifico: We are in our district. The map layout that we are in right now is your street.

Pacifico showed Julio the piece of metal that he found.

Pacifico: I dug this one right at the start, I think the games starting point is the exact location where we logged in to the game.

Julio: W...What's your plan?

Pacifico: We need to find Mario and Tonio first before venturing the land.

Julio: Mario's house is near the police station. It's a 30-minute walk around the block.

Pacifico: Let's start walking. We kill the rabbits if we see them.

Julio and I started walking east of the stream, after walking for 20 minutes I heard a sound of rustling leaf.

Pacifico: Stop, I think someone is here.

Julio then nervously hid and sat near a tree. Suddenly an arrow flew towards them and scratched Pacifico's cheeks.

A man wearing a mask made out of leaves and twigs sprang in front of us and swings a sharp object that resembles a blade made out of stone.

I narrowly avoided the attack. I stumbled back and grabbed a handful of soil.

I threw the soil right in his face, I stood up and tackled him right at the body, we rolled a couple of times, I grabbed his chest and pinned his arms with my knees pinning him down.

Pacifico: Julio! Hold him down!

Julio jumped out of his hiding place and grabbed the guys' legs.

Julio: This guy doesn't even have muscles!

Pacifico: Stop Resisting!

I grabbed the mask and pulled it out.

Pacifico: I...I'm sorry.

I immediately stood up and grabbed Julio to let the legs go.

Pacifico: I...I'm sorry, I thought you're a guy, I didn't realize sooner that you're a girl.

Julio: S...She's a girl!? But you grabbed her.

Julio then gestured his hand in front of her chest.

I hit Julio in the head and forced him to kneel and apologize.

The girl then grabbed her masked and put it on again. She then stood up and aimed her bow straight to us.
