Chapter 8

"You guys fight like siblings," Zenitsu laughed.

"Shut your mouth or I'll deck you myself," Isa snapped. "You're really annoying, just drop it." Zenitsu then looked at Tanjiro, who also had a look of slight disbelief and then continued they both continued on their spots.

"There you go Inosuke," Isa smiled and started walking to her spot.

"You did it wrong," Inosuke grabbed Isa's shoulder. "I don't use this for bedding."

"Look, you wanted me to set up your spot, so you get what I give you okay," Isa shaked Inosuke off. "So you either sleep on it or not, I camped outside a lot, teaching myself how to survive by myself just in case I ever got stranded in the middle of a forest, I've had plenty of experience."

"Fine then, just go," Inosuke sighed.

"Geez," Isa scoffed as she walked off, set up her spot and went to bed. In the morning Isa woke up and met Tanjiro and Zenitsu.

"How are you feeling?" Tanjiro asked as Inosuke walked up and stood next to them staring at Isa.

"Better," Isa replied. "Why do you ask?"

"You seemed to get meaner last night," Zenitsu pointed out. "You kind of scared me, and you even told Inosuke off."

"Right, sorry, I get really irritated when I'm tired," Isa sighed. "It's been happening ever since I was a child, I never feel tired, my mood just changes, that's why I told Inosuke to deal with the bedding I made him or not, so I could sleep it off."

"It was comfortable anyway," Inosuke whispered quietly so no one could hear, forgetting about Zenitsu's power.

"So you did sleep on it," Zenitsu replied.

"Of course I did," Inosuke snapped. "I wasn't going to sleep on the rocks on the ground."

"That's your problem for choosing a rocky spot," Isa chuckled.

"You're the one who put it there," Inosuke replied rudely. "You could've moved it."

"But I made you a bed that kept you off the rocks didn't I," Isa pointed out.

"Guys we should get going, we have a bit more walking to do," Tanjiro interrupted, standing up.

"Alright," Isa walked off with Tanjiro and the others started to follow. After a while before they got to their destination they heard a tingle of bells and the cat appeared with just a note in the basket. Tanjiro grabbed the note and offered it to Isa. "You can read it, Tanjiro."

"Oh, ok, it says, the test results came back positive for her being half demon and it will take a little longer to get the results of them being siblings, I might be able to send that tonight or maybe tomorrow morning, so, I am half demon," Isa said, looking at Inosuke. "Guess we're not going to find out about us being siblings right now are we."
