chapter 30

jay and vel began to get into a shouting match and I went to intervene but I got lost. I looked around to find myself in a foreign place, and I could practically feel the gods, and my mission was to kill all the evil gods.

before they could react I decapitated one with my scythe and began moving. I killed about a hundred when I met a person like me. with the words god slaying in their blood.

I later got to find out her name and she's called Diana. she came from an apocalyptic world and was a regressor.

she made it her life's goal to kill any god she could, however, she said that the greek pantheon was off-limits due to a promise she made. I respected that she was a woman of her word.

she gave me the phone that she used to hack into the godly servers and got me access to cross-dimensional music, and I had to say that was cool.

we were honestly the strongest person in the godly realm, apart from Jay.

she who had the invincible body, and me who had the impenetrable defense. i was still fighting in my wedding dress so I was going to have to end this quickly.

I controlled the shadows around the gods and goddesses and ensnared all of them into my little trap. I felt some of the gods trying to use the shadows against me, but I used vectors to push them onto the ground and increased the gravity on them.

with those dead, and the main god escaping we split ways, saying goodbye. I looked around and found myself back in front of my wedding.

I burst through the front door, still unaware of the blood all over my dress. half of the party was watching me and the other was watching jay and vel still at the altar.

my mother, bless her heart couldn't withstand seeing her daughter covered in blood and promptly fainting, and one of the other demihumans caught her.

however, the way she looked at my mother was suspicious, ill have a background check on her later. ill also have to kick their ass, just to make sure to give them PTSD, got to assert my dominance somehow.

"I'm back," I said showing the severed arm in my hand.

"where did you get that arm," vel said running over to me and looking over my body for any wounds.

"That's a gods arm," jay said shocking everyone.

everyone in the audience was shocked. I mean obviously, they knew what gods were, but to actually think someone in their world could kill an actual god is unheard of.

i mean sure there were evil gods, but they were limited to the mortal body and not their true forms. see the evil gods were dumb, but not stupid.

they would never, I mean never decent themselves unless they found the perfect vessel, and vessels that could harness their true forms were very rare to come across.

what they do is invade the person's mind when they are at their weakest. so emotions do play a major part in their parasitic ways.

"Loki's arm to be exact, but that begs the question how did you get to that dimension? diana was the one who was supposed to save her world and reign over her universe," jay asked.

"um... who is this," one of the dragons asked.

"oh, that's nasha, but I call her jay," I said in a passive tone.

almost immediately everyone was on edge. the cat people's hair stood up, the devils flapped their wings nervously, and the others were also on edge.

"lady nasha," a priest said getting on his knees.

jay meanwhile looked disgusted, and I knew why. she disliked this kind of worship, she would rather watch humanity from afar and not intervene. however, when she saw that Athena was going to get married she had to intervene. only she could marry her.

I threw my arm over jays shoulder and accidentally got blood on her shirt.

"yeah, she used to come to my house for dinner sometimes. this one time during a sleepover we-," I didn't get to finish the sentence as she covered my mouth and looked down in embarrassment.

"we swore never to speak of that," she hissed.

"oh, I forgot about our wedding," I said turning to the stunned vel.

"oh...," vel said waking up from her shock.

"no," jay said throwing a hissy fit.

"why not," I said turning to her.

"Because you're only allowed to marry me," Jay said as her pupils disappeared entirely and it sent shivers down my spine.

i looked between vel and jay multiple times before an idea so brilliant that I should be the new Einstein.

I nodded my head and looked up at jay straight in the eye.

"ill marry the both of you," I said.

see my brilliance? I can satisfy both of them by marrying both of them. see if I marry vel, ill turn my back on jay, and vice versa, but if I marry both of them, then I won't be betraying anyone.
