"Oh that's a high price for a single weapon." Michael exclaimed at the thought of that many coins.

"Yeah it might seem like a lot but it really isn't, as you'll both find out in the future that Gold isn't all that valuable. After reaching a certain level gold coins become cheap, so don't get too dazzled now." Violet said happily.

"What do you mean?" Victor couldn't help but ask, getting more information about anything is a big interest of his, and right now he was very interested.

"Hmm? Oh you're interested are you, well let your older sister talk you why." Violet cheered as she reached over and hugged Victor without giving him any chance to react.

He didn't even bother to struggle, as he knew that he couldn't escape even if he tried.

"Now then listen to your elder sister, now as you know most human countries use a form of currency like Great Star using credits. But Gold Coins can be used almost everywhere, but Gold Coins aren't the only currency like this.

As some equipment are worth tens of millions of Gold coins easily, so a another more valuable currently is needed so that you're not just carrying around so many coins. It goes in this order Gold Coins, Platinum Coins and Diamond Coins.

There are even other forms of currency that is worth even more but you'll both learn about that after your strong enough." Violet explained while pulling out three coins from her storage.

Victor picked up each coin to get a better look.

First was the normal good old Gold Coin, it was decorated with a magic array imprint on the back, while the front had the imprint of the Goddess of Wealth.

The second was the same but was made of another magic metal as it was a white silver, made of Platinum the coin sparkled slightly.

But the last coin was completely unlike the rest as it was made entirely out of a special unknown Crystal material, allowing for light too not only be reflected but also made the coin almost see through.

One thing all coins had in common other than the imprints, was the fact all the coins had a distinctive aura of mana that couldn't be copied.

Making counterfeiting the coins nearly impossible, there fore securing the price of the currency.

Victor also noticed that noticed that both the Platinum and Diamond Coins were far lighter.

Seeing that he'd held her precious funds for long enough, she skillfully took back the coins in a flash as if they were never in his hand.

Victor couldn't help but give her the side eye, but it was completely ineffective as she chose to ignore him, as she happily went back to her alcohol.

So Victor just turned his attention back to the on going auction and just as Violet predicted the Glaive was sold for 313,500 Gold.

The auction went by quite quickly as silver equipment were brought up one after the other, each a higher quality than the last.

Some were quite suitable for them both but unfortunately even if they got them they wouldn't be able to use it.

So Michael could only watch on, depressed as others took away those item, all the while trying to persuade Victor and Violet to buy them.

But his childish behaviour was completely ignored as Victor decided to ask about Dragon Star Academy.

"So what's the academy like?" Victor asked after taking a sip of his drink.

"Hmm? What do you want to know about, but I'll only answer three questions." Violet smiled back playfully with a glimmer.

"Hmm, then first question... What are the classes like?" Having multiple questions about the academy he wanted answers for them all, but with a limit of three he had to ask carefully in order to get the most information.

"Well... Classes are actually quite fun in the academy, well that is if you chose the right ones, that is." She smirked playfully.

"What do you mean by the right classes?" Victor wanted further clarification.

"Oh you want to know? Well to bad, next question." Violet covered her smile with mischievous twinkle in her eyes.

Victor frowned as he held his chin, now he knew Violet had a playful personality and loved to mess with others, but even so normally she wouldn't withhold important information from him.

Even when he was really young she would tell him things about the world and answer his questions, even when he wasn't meant to know yet or when she wasn't aloud to tell him.

After all he is basically her little brother who she enjoyed to play with and spoil. So there hasn't been many things throughout his life that she's refused to tell him.

So the only reasons he could think of for her not telling him, is that he should find out himself as she wasn't able to tell him or..... She just wanted to have some fun messing with him.

And judging by her playful smile and her voice filled with excitement...

'Yeah, she's messing around with me.' Victor immediately recalled all those times she had this same expression when she messed around with Michael when he was young.

"Ok... Then how do you learn more spells and skills in the academy?" Victor asked one of the most important things he had to know for sure.

After all his class doesn't have much ability or strength at this stage, so the best way to increase his abilities would be to learn more spells to make up for this problem.

Michael will also need to learn more skills that are suitable for defence, especially magic defence skills, after all Michael is mainly a tank type class holder.

And he currently doesn't have any skills of this nature, making him incredibly weak to magic.

"Oh, now that's a very good question... At the academy there are multiple buildings in a certain district in the academy that is for skills and Spells, it's nicknamed The Dragon's Knowledge Treasury.

There is Library filled with knowledge on almost every field of knowledge, a building called the Hall of Skills containing skills for every type, from attack, defence, support. There are also skills for weapons Swords, Spears, Daggers, Warhammers, Axes, there are skills for every type of weapon you can and can not think of.

Then you have the area you'll love the Magic area, there is a building solely each type of Magic, where you can not only learn spells but also magical knowledge and even some Principles.

Of course nothing is free, as you have to use school points called Dragon Points." Violet lengthely explained , but even then he noticed that she'd purposely withheld information from him.

Like how to earn Dragon Points, how much is it to learn a spell or skill and what level of spells and skills you can learn. And finally most importantly if you could learn Mana and Battle Arts.

"Now what is your last question? Violet looked at him in excitement, trying to predict his next question.

"What is the most important thing for us to do once we enter the academy?" He asked his face fully serious.

Violet lost her smile, her face now blank matching Victor's normal expression. She stared at him, but he didn't flinch or look away.

Violet suddenly smiled going right back to her usual playful face while grabbing Victor's cheeks, mushing them.

"That's the best possible question you could have asked, I thought you'd ask how to obtain Dragon Points or how to level up fast, something like that. But here you are thinking of your foundation in the academy." She continued to play with his face while Victor tried his best to free himself.

But he ultimately failed as he was only released when she had her fun.

"I'll answer your last question later after we arrive in the academy." But even then she didn't answer his question, instead she went right back to drinking her nearly finished wine.

Seeing Victor and Michael stare right at her, Violet's face and neck turned slightly red as embarrassment overtook her.

"Pay attention to the auction, there's some interesting stuff you'd both need." Violet sent a small electrical spark at Michael shocking him.

Immediately he turned away from her looking right back towards the auction, Victor also looked away at his notes, recording everything she had said earlier.

"Now just for all you in the audience, we've prepared a very special item just for today.." a staff member quickly but gracefully brought out a pillow once more, only this time it was completely unlike anything previously.

It was a large thick pitch black book that gave off a uncomfortable air, as soon as it entered the room the magical lights flickered slightly as though the mere presents of this book disrupted light around it.

"Dub-Dub!" Victor felt his heart beat spread up as a sense of wanting appeared inside himself.

He slowly raised his head, looking for the source of the abnormality that made him feel like this.

His eyes immediately locked straight onto the lone book, when his gaze fell upon it he felt the strange feeling grow immensely as his soul shook.

Unconsciously he pulled at this strange feeling within himself, a magical light followed answering his call.

As a Light cold blue flame suddenly appeared before him, it grew in intensity and strength bringing both a cold chill and a hot feeling in the private room.

Violet's attention was immediately drawn to look over by the change in temperature but also but the unfathomable mana the flame radiated.

Her eyes narrowed immediately upon seeing it, as a sense of danger and crisis spread through her soul.

'How can I feel such a great fear?! I've only felt this way when I... But that's impossible..!' Violet immediately denied what she thought, remembering that Victor hadn't even become Tier 1 yet.

Michael on the other hand didn't feel any chance over then the flame appearing, he didn't feel any change in temperature or anything.

The flame quickly melted away like snow in the hot sun, revealing Victor's Grimoire.

Victor was completely oblivious to Violet's racing thoughts as he now identified where the throbbing came from.

"Now this isn't just any normal Book, ladies and gentlemen. This here is an ancient Grimoire that was discovered in a ruin. But I do have to tell you that we have been unable to identify any information about this Grimoire as it's written in an unknown language.

But just think of the unknown knowledge it might contain within it, or the potential research value that it has! So considering all of this the starting price will be 500,000 Gold..." Rose said as the audience whispered amongst themselves.

___

Sorry for not uploading recently, I've been drowning in assignments and work, now that I'm through most of it (at least the big stuff) I'll get back to writing.

I truly do enjoy writing and just want to do it all day but I have to unfortunately put studying and work first (as much as I don't want to) so I've only got time to write when I have free time.

I'll try and make more time in the future.

See you hopefully next chapter, have a great day... :)
