36 - Combat Exam 3

Violet's nonchalant attitude further pissed off Racy, especially when Violet stopped paying any attention to her.

As instead Violet looked through the list of names searching for both Victor and Michael's scores as she didn't see them on the magic projection screen.

"Why are you here?" Racy asked with a hint of violence in her eyes.

"Didn't I already say? I'm here to watch my family." Violet said still not paying much attention to Racy.

"I mean what makes you think that you can sit here!" Racy pissed raised her voice catching the attention of of the other four as well as other guests from organisations around Flora City.

While making the government officials and Principal become unsure if they should step in and help Violet.

"Huh?" Violet looked back to her before asking, "What do you mean? This spot was empty." Violet became unsure as to why she was being asked this.

"Racy what are you yelling about?" Jin asked interested but when he saw Violet he did a double take before a creepy smile spread on his face as he pushed down his sun glasses and leaning forwards.

"Now who are you and when did you appear?" Jin set down his drink as he looked Violet up and down.

But Racy wasn't paying any attention too him.

"Do you know who I am?" Racy asked as she started think violent thoughts, the third man Mr Olliv raised his eyebrow as he also looked at Violet with an unfriendly gaze full of lust.

"Hmm no I don't..?" Violet became even more confused, Racy upon hearing this went red in rage creating a funny contrast with her pink hair.

Right before she did anything Jin interrupted her as he introduced her and then himself with an emphasis on his own introduction, this action stopped her as she knew Jin was stronger than her.

"Well she's Racy Ishion a representative from Blue Water Academy, but I'm Jin Sarck the representative of Iron Academy that is ranked 30th in the Empire." Jin smiled as he pushed back his gold trimmed sun glasses with a smug look.

"May I ask as too who you are?" Jin asked as he stood up before sitting down next to her.

Mr Olliv licked his lips as he was lost in his own thoughts as he also moved over to sit next to Violet taking Racy's seat.

The last guest from outside the city also looked over away from the magic screen, even though he was arrogant it was some what well deserved.

But even then he would never act like the other three, instead he still remained respectful even if he didn't talk too anyone here unless necessary.

As this wasn't the first time his been given this task, so he knew what was required of him, so he still watched the exam looking for potential recruits.

As if he got a few good ones then there would be a better bonus latter waiting for him.

So seeing the actions of those three morons made him sigh at how stupid they were.

He even distanced himself away from them so that he wouldn't be lumped up together with them and punished later.

So hearing them make a commotion he couldn't help but look over, and when he set his eyes upon Violet they shrunk.

He was the strongest person here as everyone else was Tier 2 or below including those idiots, he on the overhand was a Tier 3 level 158 Swift Samurai a Epic class.

But when he looked at her he immediately felt danger and knew she was on a completely different level.

"Huh?" Violet turned her attention too Jin, and smiled before introducing herself once more.

"I'm Violet Wise, it's nice to meet you." Now looking back at the scores and not wanting to continue the conversation with them.

Jin face froze before as disbelief surged within him at being ignored.

Seeing that Violet's gaze was glued to the screen in front of them, Jin decided to brag.

"There's no point in watching, after all in such a backwards town there's no point in wasting your time." Violet only gave him a glance from the corner of her eye before deciding not to waste anymore of her attention on him.

"After all there isn't anything entertaining over there, as how could there be anyone talented out here." His words started to annoy her but she kept a cool head.

Finding Victor's score she couldn't help but be a little disappointed.

"Vic why is your score so low, do you want me too look bad later?" Violet muttered too herself but it was heard by everyone.

Seeing this as his opportunity Jin leaned over getting closer to Violet as he took a sip from his drink.

"Let's see.... Victor ..... Victor, ah there Victor Wise a score of... 182 points, no dungeon clears."

"Hmm you know if I pulled some strings I just could get him into Iron Academy, at a price of course." With that he leaned forwards for a kiss.

"Excuse me but what do you think your doing?" Violet asked.

"Why helping you out of course." Jin smiled not at all bothered at being stopped.

"You see with his ability and talent he won't get into any half decent academy but I could be persuaded too, I don't know give my recommendation for him to potentially enter Iron Academy." Jin bragged as made arrogant movements.

"Iron Academy?" Violet said in thought, which made Jin's face to become smug.

However that quickly changed when Violet spoke.

"Hmm why would I let Vic go to such a low Tier academy. That'll only hinder and stop him from reaching his full potential." Violet's words caused Jin, Racy and Mr Olliv froze before what she said set in.

"W-what do you mean?" Jin stuttered slightly as he didn't know what was happening.

"Well for one, only a few academies will have access to enough resources or information that will be able to help Vic. So there's no point in Vic even looking in the direction of those low quality Academies." Violet explained her reasoning.

"How dare... Fine if you don't know what's good for you then don't blame me!" Jin stood up as anger over took him, but right before he could continue he was sent flying out of the seating area.

Violet raised her eyebrow as she looked over to her right, where a man was standing.

"I'm sorry for the inconvenience that he has caused for you." The man hurriedly apologised for Jin's actions while taking off his straw hat.

"Now why did you save your friend?" Violet asked completely unfazed, while everyone else was either shocked or stunned.

"W-Well... I'm not... Umm well I thought that he was being incredibly rude and that I needed to do something before he upset Senior any more." His words stunned everyone as they had no idea that this unknown woman was so strong.

"I'm no Senior after all I'm younger than you." Violet laughed slightly in amusement.

"I don't wish too be rude but may I ask who you are?" Gael asked nervously not wanting to anger her.

"Oh? Alright I'll formally introduce myself then, I am Violet Wise a senior student at Dragon Star Academy, and I'm here to watch my family take the exam." Violet smiled sweetly.

But her words caused everyone too feel cold sweat run down their necks, as everyone here realised that a true big shot was sitting next to them.

Especially for Racy and Mr Olliv who now realised that they were both screwed.

"H-Hello Miss Wise, I'm Seb Tookie the Principal of this school, it's a pleasure too meet you." The Principal used this chance to introduce himself.

"Likewise." Violet gave a short response with a smile.

"You said that your here to watch your family right?" The Principal asked wanting to know who went too his school that was related too someone from Dragon Star Academy.

"Yes, my nephew Victor Wise and my little cousin Michael Knight, they should both be taking this exam." Violet said with a hint of pride in her voice.

"Well then I'll see if I can get on the screen for you, so that you can watch them of course." He said before pulling away a teacher.

When he got some distance he spoke too the teacher.

"You go and change the magic screen to make sure that both Victor and Michael are showing at all times, and get me all the information you have on the both of them for me." After receiving this instruction the teacher hurried off to complete this task.

"I didn't know that we had two students related to such a person." The teachers talked amongst themselves as others saw this as a way to advanced.

Including Chang Heng 's father, so long with him a bunch of businessman came up to her in attempt to become acquaintances.

However they were all sent away nicely as Violet only wanted to watch Victor and Michael in peace.

So they all came too the conclusion that they needed to make connections with Victor and Michael first.

Mr Chang looked back at his assistant before speaking in a hushed voice.

"Get me all the information you can on them, you.. actually Chang Heng is in the same year, yes this could work." He came to the thought that his son could become friends and create a good friendship.

Meanwhile back on Michael's side, he was facing quite a bit of trouble...
