Saito Anzhong one day was in a military meeting when the next thing he knew, he was being stabbed like Julius Ceaser. Right before he took his final breath, he woke up in a cave, in someone else's body! Soon after, he realizes that he woke up in the body of Lev Griffins, who is a minor villain in the novel, "How to Kill Demons Without Dying." Unfortunately for him, Lev is someone who the protagonist absolutely hates. The protagonist ends up killing him for almost achieving his long awaited revenge and for deciving him. But there is one thing good going for him, he transmigrated before Lev had met the Protagonist. Wanting to not get involved in any major plot events involving the protagonist or the main villain, the demon king, he tries his best to avoid any of the main characters at all cost. Unfortunately though, he has pursuers, who are out for his heart. =============================================== I apologize if i get anything wrong when talking about something that is in real life as well, because this is the first thing that i have officially written and posted on any form of a platform. Oh, it will also sometimes be changing from 1st person to 3rd person in the chapters i just thought it would make more sense in those different forms of writing. Also i promise the story is much better then the synopsis. I SWEAR I DIDN'T MAKE THAT THE NAME OF THE MCs HOME ON PURPOSE, I just realized to late, as in 40 chapters late. Chapter 51 - Never Go On a Date with a Fish! (3)

Listening to Adonis' music, it sounded truly beautiful, befitting of a saint. But I wasn't able to truly enjoy it due to knowing the end that the origin of the sound would meet in the end.

"Hm, is something the matter Lev?" Llyr asked, sticking his head under mine, which was hanging down and looking towards my lap.

"It's nothing, I'm just a little disappointed that Victor isn't here to hear him play," I replied, using Victor as a quick excuse for my downcast appearance. I looked up and he followed, staring me in the eyes with an annoyed expression.

"Tch, can you not mention someone else? Especially when you are on a date with me, it makes me jealous," He clicked his tongue and grabbed my chin to force me to look at him. If I had to be honest, it did make my heart beat a little faster.

"S-Sorry, yes you're right. It's bad date manners, I'll pay for lunch to make up for it," I stuttered, nervous at how he'd react to what I'd say. He pulled his hand away from my chin, then grabbed me by the waist and hugged me.

"Haaaaaa, you don't have to do that! I just wish you'd give me more attention, and by that I mean only having me on your mind," He expressed, rubbing his face into my next and hugging me tight.

'...OH MY GOD OH MY GOD, WHY IS THIS ACTUALLY SO CUTE?!' My inner thoughts screamed.

"Alright! You can have all of my attention till the end of our date!" I said flustered and hugged him back, not noticing that I was sending signals.

I could feel his smile on my neck, which made a shiver run along my spine. It was only then that I realized my mistakes, which made me regret all of my life choices till now.

"Hehehe, really?" He asked and I hesitantly nodded, then he looked in my eyes and smiled brightly like a child, "That makes me so happy! Oh, hearing that I could fall for you all over again!"

He giggled like a child, not letting go of me nor loosening his grip for me to try and wiggle out of. I felt stuck like a turtle trying to fit between a tight space that was clearly too big for it to fit.

'Ugh, I made a big mistake, didn't I? If only the beefy puppy type weren't my type!?'

I let him hug me for a while, taking a moment to listen to Adonis' playing. Soon after, I started to notice people taking glances at us, which embarrassed me quite a bit, but I decided to focus elsewhere.

"Um, Llyr, you should probably let go of me now. I mean you're a king, after all, you shouldn't be doing things like this in public!" I tried to persuade him, slowly pulling his arms from me.

"Ahem, yes I suppose you are right, I really should watch my actions when I'm outside," He said, reluctantly pulling away while looking away then added, blush lining his face, "But I can't help but hug you, it's so hard to contain my feelings when the person I like is right in front of me!"

"...Right…Oh! It seems that Adonis has finished playing, I'm going to go and say hi!" I replied, blushing off yet another of his confessions, still not realizing that I had led him on and that he now thought that I was just playing hard to get.

Adonis was currently in the midst of putting the things that he used to play away, such as putting his violin back in its case, and keeping his hat that he took tips in closer to him.

I tossed three gold coins into his hat, I was originally going to do one but I felt bad after using him as an excuse to brush Llyr off, who was currently giving Adonis a death stare.

"Wow, that's quite a lot for a mere violinist like me, thank you so much, my lord," Adonis thanked, which I could almost hardly understand through his thick Russian-sounding accent. He then stood up to turn and bow at me briefly.

'Russian? No, the earth's continents and countries don't exist here, must be the accent from his homeland.'

As mentioned in the original novel, How to Kill Demons Without Dying, each kingdom had its own varying accents, The Quare Kingdom, of course, had British, Scottish, and Irish-sounding accents depending on what part of the kingdom you're from.

The Wade Kingdom had Brazilian accents, the Peril had a sort of what I guessed would be what the ancient Romans sounded like, which was a mix of an Italian and Spanish accent, and The Alkmene Kingdom had an Arabic and Greek accent, depending on whether you live/were born on the mainland, or in the sea part of the kingdom.

Like Llyr, who sounded Greek, he was also from the sea part of the kingdom, which was described to resemble Atlantis. So it was quite fitting if you asked me.

Snapping back to reality, I saw Adonis who had knelt back down to put the coins he earned back into a pouch, then put his hat back on. It was then that I could get a good look at his features.

"It was my pleasure, a talented musician such as yourself deserves at least that much," I chuckled, shaking hands with him.

Adonis had fluffy blonde hair, that looked like cotton candy and made me want to touch it, though it also made me remember Victor's. His candy hair was paired with diamond-blue eyes that most certainly sparkled like one, especially against his black and red fedora. He also wore a black and red suit, the suit coat being a tailcoat, and had a pocket watch hanging from the inside of his vest to the breast pocket of the jacket.

"My how you flatter me Lord Andraste, I do not know what exactly I did to earn your praise, but I truly am grateful to hear that from you!" Adonis laughed as well, making his eyes sparkle even more.

"Ho? I wasn't aware that you knew my name as well. It seems like these days wherever I go, someone knows who I am," I added, amused but worried at my predicament.

"Hm, were you not aware before you came down to the port?" Adonis said, tilting his head at me and putting his pouch into the spacial ring onto his gloved hands.

"Not aware of what?" I asked then chuckled nervously, "I must admit that I am a bit scared to hear why people know me as soon as they see me!"

"No need to worry, it's nothing bad! All it is, is that news of your great military achievements has spread throughout the kingdom," Adonis admitted, and the next part almost made me faint, "People are even calling you a war hero, and it's said that since you helped the new rulers of Peril obtain their crown, that you might be given a promotion in rank."

'You have got to be fucking kidding me! Welp, there goes my plan to stay in the hero's shadow and hopes of early retirement…' I thought, crying internally.

"My, I suppose our dear Viscount could be called a Count after that, or if King Roman is generous enough, maybe even a Marquis!" Llyr cut off, putting a hand on my shoulder and smiling brightly at me, making me shudder at even the thought.

"...Believe it or not, I'd rather not get promoted, I rather like where I am now," I replied, admitting my true thoughts but making myself sound humbler, as if I did want it but thought of it as unbefitting for me.

"That's very humble of you to say Your Lordship, I must admit that it makes me see you as a potential role model!" Adonis expressed smiling, then turning to Llyr and giving a brief bow, "And what a pleasure it is to see you again your Majesty, I believe the last time we spoke was at your birthday celebration two years ago!"

"Yes, it was indeed! Such a shame that it's been so long since I've last heard you play, it was truly a joy to hear the wonderful sound of your instrument again," Llyr expressed, putting a hand to his heart a chuckling.

'So even this clingy bastard can act humble, huh?'

"Well, I'm glad I could entertain you one more time, I do hope that this time pleased you just as much if not more than the last! And I hope, you too enjoyed it, Lord Andraste," Adonis smiled, bowing once again.

"Oh, of course, one of the best violins I've heard, truly befitting to have played for a king!" I complimented, curious as to how Llyr would react.

"You just keep on throwing compliments, don't you? Your Majesty, you most certainly did pick a good one!" Adonis winked at him, signaling something I didn't quite yet understand.

"I most definitely did, didn't I?... Oh, it would be a shame to have this be the last time I hear your wonderful music! I actually plan on getting engaged, then eventually married if nothing goes wrong, how I do hope to hear from you on both of those occasions!" Llyr declared, making me raise an eyebrow, though, of course, I would soon know what he really meant.

"Of course, it would be an honor! Well, I must be on my way, I have someone I need to see before I depart to the Wade Kingdom, may our paths cross again!" Adonis said one last time before taking his violin in its case, bowing, and walking away towards the residential area of the port city.

The two of us waved at him as his figure got farther away, then as I put my hand down, Llyr grabbed it and held it in his. Dragging me away, he added one last thing before my protests.

"I have now decided where to eat at!" He said laughing, then dragging me off to who knows where, me telling him that I could follow behind him just fine so that he didn't need to hold my hand.

"Man, both eating and talking to Lady Sakamoto really did make me feel stuffed!" I complained, walking alongside Llyr.

We had just gotten back from lunch and tea time with the port keeper, Chobi Sakamoto, we were now heading to buy new shoes for me and a few new homely things.

Since I left most of Lev's stuff, other than clothes and shoes at the Griffins' estate, the mansion has felt rather empty for me.

Even though they weren't my things, they still belonged to the original owner of the body I currently inhabited, so I felt kind of bad and decided to new, but similar things to the furniture and decorations he owned.

"Haha, well that is what happens when you eat at a cafe, then have a full-course meal, and go to tea time with someone holding an important position among your employees," Llyr chuckled, still blushing.

"It's not my fault I was hungry, and I like eating till I'm full anyway!" I shot back, jabbing him in the side with my hand.

"Alright, alright!... So, do you know what shop you want to go to next?" He asked, leaning down towards me, which I must admit, made me feel like a child, which ticked me off.

"Yes, there is a shoe maker that 'I' usually go to, to get my shoes custom made. He already knows what kinds of materials 'I' like them made with, so all I have to do is go in there and do is tell him the model and design I want for it," I explained, turning the corner on the street down into the carpentry area.

A few months back, when I planned to go and shop for new clothes and such, one of the original Lev's memories popped back up in my head. It was of him coming to Zyon city to request a shoe to be made, and the shoemaker asked for the usual material that he likes.

It is honestly quite helpful when that happens, almost like his soul is listening in whenever I think, or even talk. Considering that it happens when I talk to someone who was close to him and their past, like Victor.

'That gets me thinking, if my soul is just to make sure he doesn't destroy the seal on him and take back control, then what's to say that he isn't awake already?'

I chuckled to myself and brushed the thought away, thinking that the thought was silly. Not realizing it was silly of me to brush the thought away like that.

i wonder, what did those last paragraphs mean? :)
