A breathtaking encounter

Loud laughter, bright light that shone around gave hope to the woman who was lost in the woods. Living a boring life as an ordinary human urged her to do something dangerous.

And because of the book given by the old man, Martina was brought to the brink of death when she followed the map into the werewolves' territory.

"Huh! Huh! Huh!" Exhaustingly, she chased her breath when she found nothing but a beautiful garden of blooming flowers. Martina wanted to take all of the flowers but she refused and fell to the ground.

Her knees turned weak after walking for how many kilometers without drinking any water. Her chest began to hurt and her feet got badly swollen.

"I thought they were all in here!" she murmured, took off the stiletto, and massaged her feet gently.

Martina narrowed her eyes and felt the heaviness in her upper body. Her chest filled with worries to her parents who didn't know her whereabouts.

She looked up above the bright and starry night with regretful eyes. If only she realized the possible consequences, she should have told her mother about her sudden plan.

Hopelessly tired, she caressed her temple and tried her cells to relax. She has still enough time to seek help. "Quarter to nine? Huh, why it seems too fast?" she confusingly asked while the birds flew around and chirped sweetly.

For a moment, Martina stared up at the bright, beautiful sight. Under the clouds, she became a despondent girl who appreciated its beauty after a long time.

Living in a modern city with tall, breathtaking skyscrapers never changed her personality and perspectives in life. Martina firmly believed that she belonged to another world where no one would judge her.

She has been dreaming to make come true but she has never hoped to be lost in the middle of the deep, wide woods.

"It's such beautiful scenery. How I wish I admired the starry night since I was young!" she said in a regretful tone.

Her green eyes reflected the moon's light when it suddenly appeared. It stunned her effortlessly when she apprehended that it was the same place in her dreams a day ago.

It seemed like an enchanted place found in the deep forest yet, it was hypnotizing a human's mind and soul. "I will make a short story using these great pictures!" Martina quickly took a lot of pictures of the sky and the whole surroundings.

"Dalia would be angry at me!" she thought until she noticed that the cellular phone was only thirty percent. She facepalmed, took a deep sigh, and felt that her hope was slowly fading. "No! It can't be! It was… it was sixty percent when I last checked it!"

Unbelievably, she quickly switched off the phone and kept it inside of her pocket. It was her only hope when she finally found a place with a signal.

However, while she was thinking about what to do next, a loud sound resonated around the woods. It was quite unusual but Martina speculated that it was a werewolf's growl.

"AWOOO!"

"AWOOO!"

Frighteningly, she covered her ears and embraced herself. The tress began to sway and danced gracefully when a howling, cold wind blew up. The leaves were drifted away, the birds flew so quickly until a bizarre, yet ensnaring voice echoed around.

"It's the perfect time to showcase your talents! Go girls, show me what you got!" It seemed like a naughty man with a deep, husky voice that seemed surrounded by different women.

Martina rolled her eyes, turned around, and felt envious all out of the blue. Unknowingly, she took steps closer to the isolated and dangerous part of the forest. It was known as West Forest because of the strange, brutal deaths that were found a year ago.

As she let her feet bring her closer to the group of men who were having fun, her heartbeat too fast. It was different as she never felt it even before.

The closer it was, the more it made her weak yet blew up her entire system.

"Woah! Let's see who will be the next queen of Blue Dobinson!" A man's voice sounded once again and it was undeniably nearby.

Martina stopped for a second as she couldn't believe it. She widened her eyes, opened her mouth and she repeated the man's beautiful name, "Blue Dobinson?"

Suddenly, it gave butterflies in her stomach. She surprisingly took steps closer to the wild plants and made a small way to see what was going on right there.

At that moment, Martina was left speechless when she saw a group man screaming at the top of her lungs and women who stood in a line in front of a man seated in an ancient wooden chair.

She asked, "Why are they standing in front of him?"

For a moment, she stood behind those wild plants and watched the strange people who were having a night party with girls.

"Like what you said, I gathered all the woman who deserves to be your perfect match." spoke a tall man with long, white hair.

He was speaking with the man who was seated like a king. "He must be Blue Dobinson!" Martina whispered to the cold, wild wind.

Martina was ensnared by Blue's perfect face. His glinting blue eyes that were jaw-dropping, his thick eyebrows, pointed nose, and thin, angelic lips perfectly matched each other.

She gasped, closed her fists when Blue Dobinson stood and walked towards the women before him. "What is he doing?" she asked and looked intently into his way.

"It's my pleasure to meet all of you, ladies but… but I can't tell that I already picked one of you tonight," spoke Blue in a hollow voice.

"What? I brought all pretty ladies for you and you haven't chosen one among them? For pete's sake, are you out of your mind?"

"Shut up, George! Blue wants someone else and maybe you missed the one in town!" said another man and laid his eyes on him.

Martina opened her mouth in disbelief until she accidentally stepped into driftwood. It created a quick, loud sound that caught Blue's attention.

He said, "Did you hear it?"

"What?"

"The sound came from that area!" he firmly said but no one believed in him.

Martina held her breath and slowly looked at the small hole she created. She pretended to be courageous enough until she fortuitously met his deep, alluring gaze and she realized that it was a close, breathtaking encounter with a stranger.

For a second, his eyes laid on her that fluttered her system. She wasn't certain what it was but she suddenly felt a strong feeling inside of her chest.

"I think, I have found the right one." Blue Dobinson murmured that left everyone speechless most especially, Martina Green.
