Chapter 31: Roses for Mother
Rhea stopped her work immediately and stared at Andrew.
“You’ve uncovered Tiernan’s and Amara’s grave?” Rhea asked breathlessly.
At Andrew’s nod, Rhea left the Garden Hall and proceeded to search the Manor. She ran into Aedan and Brennus in the observatory. They heard the news and immediately told Rhea to check the study, as Arras had just returned from the office.
Rhea made her way to the study and found Arras and his brother chatting aimlessly about office inventory. Taigh sat on Arras’ desk, one foot crossed and resting on the other knee. Arras stood in front of the fireplace, one hand across his chest and the other thoughtfully rubbing his chin. He looked up and saw Rhea.
“Rhea, come in,” Arras smiled almost pleasantly.
She didn’t waste time, as she crossed the floor, Rhea spoke.
