After eight more hours of fighting the reinforcements finally arrived and killed all the rats. We were then given medical aid and those that were severely injured were sent to the hospital right away, while the rest of us had to wait for them to finish off the monsters.

"Attention everyone we have killed off the rest of the monsters and will now be headed back to Westblood city. All of you will be rewarded with 200,000 Enas for fighting these monsters." After the soilder finished talking everyone was happy that we were getting such a nice reward. 200,000 Enas is a large sum of money to low rankers like us. Selling the monster core of an initial rank 2 monster is only worth 20,000 Enas after all.

During the fight it was to chaotic to cut out monster cores so I was very happy with getting such a reward. I only had 10,000 Enas when I set out after all.

Getting into the vehicles we set off toward Westblood. About four hours later we left the underground and appeared on the surface within the safety range of the city. Since Westblood is such a large city the safety zone around it where monsters don't go unless there's a horde extends in a five kilometer radius with Westblood at the center.

We went above ground approximately two kilometers away from Westblood so as soon as we got above ground we could see the massive walls that surrounded the city along with some of the massive buildings within it.

"It's amazing" said a person next to me. I just knodded and looked at the massive 100 meter tall wall around the city and I could even see the top of a large tower with a gaint H.G. on the side of it. ' That's the hunter guild, I need to register there when I get into the city so I can stay in one of their facilities.' The Hunter Guild has many facilities but the most common ones which is were I was gonna go after registering is a training facility. There they have rooms for hunters to stay in and also training rooms, they're basically a cheap apartment for hunters to stay in.

Soon we arrived at the west gate of the city and entered the market square. Since land in the city is so expensive people will set up shops outside of one of the four gates and only pay a quarter of the price you would have to pay in the city. The vehicles drove into the military section and we all got out of the vehicles.

An officer was waiting for all of us to disembark the vehicles and then started speaking. "When you leave this base the staff at the gate will stop you so they can transfer the reward to your account."

Walking toward the gate a lady in uniform stopped me and said. "Excuse me sir may I see your holowatch" I knodded and lifted my arm to show her my holowatch. She tapped it with her military holowatch and said "There you go sir, please head that way to leave the base and have safe travels." "Thank you." I responded and walked away looking at my new account balance that was now at 209,937 Enas.

Getting into the city I ordered a hovercar and waited. When it arrived I got in and put in my destination. Since the hovercars were autonomous I decided to try and open a new page in my fathers book. After trying to open the third page I could feel the requirements to open it.' looks like I need to be initial rank 2 and have good control over my ability and mana.'

Arriving at the Hunters Guild main building I went in and saw alot of people moving about. I quickly spotted the registration bay and went to it. A women was at the booth and I walked toward her booth. "Hello sir are you here to register?" "Yes mam" I answered her and she then continued "Please place your holowatch here please." I put my arm over a scanner with my watch facing down. A blue light flashed and the lady looked at her computer and said "There you are Mr. Talen you are now a registered hunter." "Thank you mam."

Leaving the Hunters Guild I got in the hovercar once again and set in the destination. While it drove I looked out the window and admired the city. When I arrived at my destination I got out and looked at the training facility. Walking into the facility I went to one of the private booths and bought an apartment. ' Good thing I got that reward.' I now had 201,000 Enas in my account.

Getting in the elevator I soon arrived at my floor and found my room. 'here it is room 304.' When I got into the apartment I just dropped my stuff on the floor without looking at the apartment. I took a long shower and got into bed and immediately fell asleep even though it was only six at night.
