Two deaths

"Your majesty and my queen, I apologize for my rude intrusion but I have an urgent matter to discuss with you" he said to which the king nodded his head indicating Henry to enter.

"Your Majesty, I have searched all the books on spells in the library and maybe one of them will work in breaking the spell of the prophecy. It might not work but there are chances that we could succeed. We have prepared everything necessary in the garden. If you could only come there with us, we can start the procedures" he said to which the king and queen were both surprised and slightly delighted hearing the new piece of information.

"Then what are we waiting for? Let's go there this moment" the king said and the three of them along with six guards walked to the garden with Henry's lead.

Meanwhile Daniel and Aiden wore the black clothes of the other two kidnappers and stood at the opening of the tunnel waiting for Finn and Liam to arrive. As soon as they arrived the two kidnappers who carried the hostages were confused to see two more people dressed just like them. Before they could speak anything, Daniel and Aiden used the same Henbane on them which made them unconscious.

Now all the four kidnappers who carried Anastasia and Talia to the dungeons were the brothers themselves. They carried the two of them inside the tunnel. As Noah had said they reached the main door of dungeon after a few minutes.

They entered the dungeon to find Adam standing in front of Anastasia's father and brother, who looked completely drained of energy. Adam kicked Anastasia's father cursing at him which made the four brothers clench their fists. As soon as Adam noticed the four men who stood at the dungeon, a smirk decorated his face. Little did he know that he was in huge trouble.

"Chain their hands and legs!" he said to which Liam and Finn did as he said. Anastasia and Talia were still unconscious while Daniel and Aiden stood behind Adam waiting for Henry to arrive. Adam kept blabbering on how he would conquer the kingdom and become invincible which almost made Finn yawn.

Adam never noticed the king and Henry coming inside the dungeon and continued to announce his plans to every soul present there.

"I will rule Solis and no one, not even that foolish king can stop me from doing so. Just wait and see the Citizens of Solis bowing to me with respect. Henry, Noah, Alec, the king and the queen stood dumbfounded at the sight. As Adam was still in his own world Noah slowly made his way to Anastasia and Talia to untie them but Daniel started giggling which caught Adam's attention.

Adam turned to see the one who dared to disturb him and was shocked to see the king standing right in front of him.

"It’s not what you think, It’s!! It’s-" Adam tried to explain but the king left out a mocking chuckle.

"All these years, I believed whatever came out of that disgusting mouth of yours while you planned a rebellion behind my back. You are a traitor and you will be punished for taking innocent people as hostages and also for plotting rebellion against the kingdom of Solis" the king said with rage. Surprisingly Adam was not at all affected.

"Kill them!" he ordered his men but they never moved which made Adam angry. Before he could start screaming again, the four of them got rid their mask which left Adam in shock. His own son stood there, against him which made Adam go mad in rage. He started laughing loudly as he said, "If my son will not rule this kingdom, neither will yours since he will never get his powers back".

While Noah was unchaining Anastasia, Adam snatched the sword that Aiden held and ran to Anastasia and Talia who were still unconscious. He lifted the sword and plunged it towards Anastasia but Noah came in his way and was stabbed instead.

The whole room fell silent. Liam was the first to scream Noah's name and run to him while Finn and Daniel held Adam before he caused more chaos. They placed henbane to his nose and knocked him unconscious. It was hard for Noah to talk but still he tried his best to speak.

"Liam, since I won- won’t be around any...more, you will be the... youngest. Take care of everyone and don't forget... that I lo-loved each one of you" he said which made Liam cry like a kid. The queen ran and sat beside Noah as she cried her heart out.

"Just hang on a little bit my love, just a little bit, Huh? Please don’t leave me..." the queen said as words came out of her mouth with utmost difficulty. As Noah was struggling to breathe, the king approached him with slow, painful steps. This time as soon as he saw his son's face, tears welled up in his eyes without his will.

"Father, Mother I hope you don’t forget me" he said with a painful smile as he let out his last breath. The queen and the king poured their hearts out. Because of all the cries of sorrow even Anastasia and Talia woke up. Anastasia found herself chained which confused her. But what was more of a shock to her was the scene in front of her.

Noah was lying on Liam's lap as the king and the queen were grieving looking at him. Liam's face contained no emotion. It was as though he had stopped breathing. The others also stood in silence, tears running down their eyes. She got rid of chains by melting them and did the same for Talia too.

"What is going on here? Why is he lying down like that?" she asked her voice was a bare whisper. She was scared that whatever she was thinking as a misunderstanding might actually be true, that Noah was not just unconscious instead that he was dead. No one dared to answer which confirmed her that it was no misunderstanding.

"What are you doing here? Take him to Lora, maybe she can do something!!" Anastasia yelled. She didn't care if she was talking to the king the queen or the royals; she was not ready to lose another person who was close to her. Right on cue, Liam and Alec picked up Noah's lifeless body and ran out of the cave. Daniel and Aiden carried Adam's body and followed the former two. Even Finn went behind them carrying Talia in his hands.
