Chapter 1
Our story starts off on a warm spring day. A young girl with black hair and green eyes hoped out if bed. Annabella is getting ready for preschool. "Annabella, time for school,"said Annabella's mom. "Coming mom." yelled Annabella as she ran down the stairs. "Annabella, can you please go feed the cat ? I believe that he is out by the old shed." "Alright mom." Annabella headed out to the shed.
As she was pouring the cat's food into his bowl she suddenly slipped and fell down into the rabbit hole. Annabella found a vine and climbed out of the rabbit hole. "Where am I?" she asked. "you are in japan." said a mysterious voice. "Who said that?'' I asked a shocked Annabella.
Annabella looked up and to her surprise she saw a young boy with dog ears hanging in a tree by his underwear. "What are you doing up there?" asked Annabella. "Oh I am just hanging around. What do you think I am doing up here, I am stuck." yelled down the strange boy. ''Oh let me help you down.'' Annabella climbed up the tree and helped the boy down. ''So what's your name'' asked Annabella.
''Dranomau , yours?'' answered the strange boy Annabella. So how did you get up there asked Annabella. ''My jerky brother put me up there this morning.'' ''Why?"Annabella asked quite curious. "I do notknow he does this every morning.''replied Dranomau.''So he bullies you?" asked Annabella just to be clear. ''You could say that." answered Dranomau. "Why do you not tell your mom?"Annabella asked. "I did but she just says that it's his way of showing his love. he is always doing things like this to me."Dranomau replied looking down at the ground."What's with the funny ears maybe that's the reason he bullies you?"" No! What are you crazy? I am a demon." said Dranomau.
"do you not mean a half demon?" said another mysterious voice. "What are you doing here Dracolin?" asked Dranomau. "Mom sent me to get you." answered Dracolin. "Annabella, this is my older brother Dracolin."Dranomau turned around to see that Annabella had left while he was talking to Dracolin. So Dranomau walked home with his older brother. Annabella had decided to look for a village nearby. Annabella soon arrived in a small little village not far from the rabbit hole.
There she saw that there was someone there that could help her get back home. Pretty soon a young priestess noticed her. "Are you lost?" asked the priestess. ''Yes,"Annabella replied. The priestess took Annabella to where she decided to keep until she could find her way home. So tell the child what is your name?asked the priestess. "Annabella" that's a strange name. Now tell me how did you get here?"
Annabella explains to the nice priestess about how she got to this place expecting the priestess to say she had an active imagination but instead the priestess understood and was willing to help her. Then all of a suddenly there was a knock at the door and in came a very injured man just returning from battle. The young priestess asked Annabella to sit outside while she tended to the soldier's wounds.
Annabella went outside and found a nearby bench to sit on when all of sudden she heard a noise. Her curiosity got the better of her and she went to check it out.
Annabella fiddled with the sound of the noise only to see a young boy picking on Dranomau. "What are you doing here you freak?" asked the boy.``I am just getting some groceries with my mom and Dranomau answered. "Didn't I tell you not to show your ugly face around here again?" "Yes rabbit hole you did but '' said Dranomau as he backed away and then fell on his back. "Now you are going to find out what happens to freaks like you." The boy said with a mischievous grin.
Dranomau braised for impact as the boy prepared to hit him. Then all of a sudden Dracolin jumped out in front of Dranomau. "No one speaks ill of my little brother except me, you got that?" growled Dracolin. "Oh Dracolin. I didn't know that this was your younger brother."The boy said, his voice filled with fear, "I think I heard my mom calling me. Coming mom." said the boy as he ran away. Dracolin shot a glance at his younger son to make sure he was okay before walking away.
Annabella ran up to check on Dranomau. "Are you okay? "she asked him. "When did you get here?"Dranomau asks Annabella who was now standing behind him. "A few minutes ago. So are you okay?" she asked him again. "Yeah I am fine." he replied. "So you are pretty lucky that your brother came along," said Annabella. "More like he is possessive. The only reason he saved me was because he doesn't want anyone else to pick on or bully me. " "So he didn't save you because he cares."Annabella asked clearly confused. "Yup." "Wow. "Annabella replied in shock.
"So what are you doing here?"asked Dranomau curiously, "you are not following me right?" No, I do notknow how to get home from here.replied Annabella as she explained to Dranomau that she had come to the village hoping to find someone to help her get home. "Annabella, Annabella" called the kind priestess that had planned to help her.
"That's the woman who said that she would help me," said Annabella as she and Dranomau ran to see what the priestess wanted. "Oh there you are Annabella " said the young priestess, "I've found someone to help you find your way home " Then along came Dranomau's mom. "Oh hello Annabella, my good friend here told me that you were lost and of how you got here. I see that you've already met my sons. Since it's getting dark you are welcome to spend the night with us and then I shall escort you back home on your own time."said Dranomau's mom.
"My own time?"asked Annabella. Dranomau's mom explained to her that she wasn't from this time and that the rabbit hole that she came through helped her travel between the two worlds. That night Annabella slept over at her new friend's house. Then the next morning Dranomau and his mom helped her get home.
Annabella wanted to help her friend with his brother so she promised to return and assist him and teach him to stand up to Dracolin, his older brother. Dranomau watched his friend go down the rabbit hole knowing that she would keep her promise and soon return.
