I opened the door and went into our bedroom. I saw her reading a book on the bed sitting up. I smiled and placed all the gifts inside our bedroom after greeting her. She looked very curious at the gifts, I placed some on the bed and she opened them. She gasped at the gifts and i saw happy tears fall on her cheeks. I can see that she appreciates the gifts. The gifts are teddy bears, blankets, and get-well cards. It's so sweet of them. After opening them all, she took a midnight blue colored teddy bear and snuggled up with it. I smiled at that sight and crawled next to her. The next few days went the same, I woke up got ready, and went to the gatherings alone. She didn't get better so I called back the doctor. I stayed with her till the doctor came. The doctor told me to go out of the room. I hated that I had to go but I went out. After some minutes the doctor went out with a soft smile and he bid me goodbye without even explaining anything to me. I was really confused, I went back in and I saw Elliana sitting there with a soft smile. 'What did the doctor say?' I asked her. She smiled even more when I asked her. I went to her and sat on the bed next to her holding her hands. 'I'm pregnant!' She said with a big smile on her face. I looked shocked at her before i pulled her into a hug. 'Oh my goodness, i can't believe i'm going to be a father!' I said happily hugging her tightly. 'I know babe! We are going to be parents! I can't wait! And you are going to be the best dad you can be!' She cheered happily. I squeezed her tight trying to keep myself from exploding from happiness.'This is going to be amazing!' I said. She laughed and hugged me again. I pulled away slowly from her hug and kissed her cheek lovingly. 'You should go rest Elliana.' I told her. 'Okay.' She said while wiping her tears. She went to bed and cuddled with the teddy bear. I stood up and gave her another kiss on her forehead walked outside and sat down on a bench nearby. My heart felt like it would burst and I smiled widely. I am a fucking father. 'Why are you so happy Kevin?' Someone asked me. I looked up and I saw it was our uncle. He sat down next to me. 'Well...I'm gonna be a father uncle.' I said to him with tears in my eyes. He looked at me with big eyes and a big smile before pulling me into a hug. 'That's wonderful! I'm so happy for you!' He exclaimed while laughing. 'Me too uncle.' I whispered against his chest. We sat there for some time before we went our separate ways. I went back to Elliana and crawled next to her. She was napping, I pulled her gently into my arms and kissed her head softly. I placed my hand on her belly and rubbed her belly softly. 'We are gonna be a happy family Ellie.' I whispered. 

I closed my eyes and I fell asleep. I was woken up by shaking. I opened my eyes and looked up who was shaking me. 'Ellie...?' I asked her. 'I'm hungry...and I need to use the toilet.' She said. I chuckled a bit before letting her go and sat up. She got up and went to the toilet. I stretched out and got out of the bed. I waited for her, she came back in some comfortable clothes and went to me. She took my hand and we went out to the dining room. We sat down and our dinner was served. We thanked the maids and they went away. We ate together, we talked about our baby and the future. After a while, we finished our food and we went out for an evening walk. We talked and giggled most of the time before we went back to the castle. I felt like something was watching us. I shook the feeling off and closed the door behind us of the castle. We went to our bedroom, and when we entered I closed the curtains of our big window. Elliana crawled on the bed and fell asleep soon. I sat down but couldn't fall asleep. The feeling didn't leave me. I got up and went to our guards. They greeted me and I told them to stay at their post in case someone tried to break in or do us harm. They nodded and went to our bedroom and stood in front of our door. I told other guards to be alert, and they nodded and went to their place. I looked outside the window and saw a figure lurking behind a tree across the courtyard.
