8 Meeting The Headmaster

Samantha's POV

Once we were inside the academy, I noticed students wearing the same uniform but they differ in different colors.

Everything seemed normal, I thought I'd be seeing students using magics everywhere. Although I could feel the atmosphere here was much different from the normal human's world.

As we passed by the students, some of them were looking at us. Some bowed along the way.

I wonder why?

Tumingin ako sa mga kasamahan ko, you could feel the superiority that's radiating from them. Malaki ang respeto ng mga tao sa mga kasama ko.

Ang iba sa akin nakatingin, nagtatanong ang mga mata kung bakit nila ako kasama.

Nakakaintimidate silang kasama pero pinagkibit-balikat ko nalang ang nararamsaman ko.

"Let's go, gusto ka na makilala ni headmaster" Jenny told me, may kasiyahan sa kanyang mga mata.

Hinila nila ako papunta sa isang lugar until we stopped in front of a door.

It must be the office of the headmaster.

Maingat na kumatok si Jenny.

Then there's this voice that said "Come in"

Ninerbyos ako sa takot at nanlamig ang mga palad ko.

We came inside the office, may pigura ng tao na nakatayo sa may bintana, he was looking outside the window. He's observing the students playing in the field.

Nang maramdaman na niya ang mga presensya namin, he turned around.

He must be the headmaster.

I looked at him and he didn't say anything. I could see that he was a man of authority and descipline.

"Good job guys, you may leave us alone now." The man spoke habang nakatingin sa akin.

"Yes, headmaster" Sabay sabay nilang sabi.

Before they left the room, I noticed Jenny mouthed some words, I think it says GOOD LUCK.

Tumango lang ako.

The man looked so young and he's handsome. Maybe he's around 30's, too young to be a headmaster. He got black hair and green eyes.

He charmingly smiled at me and said.

"Hello, I'm the headmaster of this academy, and I'm Apollo."

"K-inagagalak ko po kayong makilala" Naujtal kong sabi.

"I know you've just arrived you may take a rest first, Jenny will your you around the academy. You'll start tomorrow and your uniform is in your room" Pagpapaliwanag nito.

Hindi ako sumagot. Pakiramdam ko masyadong mabilis ang lahat.

He seemed to understand my dillema. He told me, "Dont worry, you'll be fine. Sina Jenny na ang bahala sayo" He assured me.

I nooded as a response, "Salamat po"

Tumawa sya at hinawakan ako sa balikat, "Magiging maayos din ang lahat, Samantha"

"Sige na, you may take your leave" Ma-authoridad nitong sabi.

"T-hank you po headmaster" Pumunta ako sa pinto at ipipihit na sana ang door knob to take my leave ng magsalita ulit si Sir Apollo.

"And one more thing, Samantha" Pahabol nito.

Lumingon ako kay Sir Apollo, kampante itong nakatayo, while his arm crossed above his chest.

"Samantha, huwag kang mabibigla sa mga malalaman mo sa academy" He gave me a crook smile. There was something about his smile, and his eyes reflected amusement.

I stared at him, confussion is written on my face.

In the end, I just bowed at him as a sign of respect and leave.

Once I was out of his office, napasandal ako sa pinto. Napabuntong hininga ako, taking all the air inside my chest out.

I was curious about what headmaster Apollo told me. Huwag mabibigla saan?

I just wished that everything would be alright especially with my new life here as a student.
