Hey there and Heppy New Year!
I hope everyone survived 2022 and will survive 2023.
Here's today's new chapter. Also, if you didn't already know, I have posted a new fanfic called Marvelous Forge which uses the Celestial Forge. I wanted to write a fix using it for a long time and I saw my chance. If you don't know what it is, you can search on google and write Celestial Forge V2 or you can read the fanfic called Brockton's Celestial Forge which uses the Celestial Forge V1. It is also posted on Fanfiction.net or AO3.
I also have another fanfic called Dreams of the Fool which is a dimensional chat group fic.
Always, I hope you start this year well and don't forget to leave comments
Peace!
P.S.: The title also refers to you.🤫😉❤️
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"So that's how it is. By trapping a small portion of a person's life force, Teacher then created another circuit using Universal energy in order to artificially guide the trapped life force and imitate the mental barrier spell sorcerers usually use. However, this would lead to the life force being continuously used and if they are not trained, their life force would be trained. Therefore, Teacher compensated for this problem by trapping the leaking life force due to the spell, therefore, reducing its cost and making it safe for civilians like Dad to use it. In other words, she "recycled" the leaking life force. I didn't know you could do that. And since civilians can't regenerate their life force as fast as sorcerers and life force, Teacher circumvented that problem by adding another formation into the link between the body of the user and the spell which would accelerate the user's life force production using Universal energy to improve their body's metabolism. However, this would give the user a bigger appetite which is not exactly a big problem. As expected of her!"
In his room, Isaiah Sharpe could be seen muttering as he examined the bracelet his teacher had made for his father in order the protect his mind and create a mental barrier. He could have easily found out how the artifact worked by using (Structural Grasp), but he wanted to challenge himself. When it was confirmed that he had a mutant ability and his ability to understand almost anything stemmed from that power, he wanted to find out how it worked. Therefore, he analyzed the bracelet without any magical help.
It was currently 10h30 PM. After their meeting, his dad has given him the task to replicate the bracelet while he had ordered Pepper and Happy to investigate Professor Xavier and his school as well as find any information on the political climate of mutants in the world.
Isaiah nodded and cast (Structural Analysis) on the bracelet. The artifact glowed turquoise for a brief moment. Isaiah then held up his other hand and pulsed his mana. Two orbs of mana appeared above his hand and soon coalesced into two identical bracelets identical to the one his Dad had given him.
However, he suddenly frowned.
"The bracelet would work for Happy. But would Pepper would like a bracelet?"
To be honest, Isaiah never thought about that kind of stuff. His mind was usually occupied with magic or entertainment. Therefore, he went downstairs to seek his father's opinion but saw that he was absent from the living room.
'Hm? Where is he?'
"Jarvis?"
The artificial intelligence answered him,
"Yes, Isaiah?"
"Where's dad?"
"Sir is in the workshop."
"Thanks, Jarvis."
"My pleasure, young sir."
Isaiah went downstairs and entered the code on the keypad before entering the shop. He then saw his father by the Holotable with multiple holograms moving around in front of him. Some depicted footage of mutants fighting while others showed protests against them.
Tony then turned to him,
"Hey Kid, you finished?"
Isaiah shook his head,
"I finished analyzing the magical formation my teacher used, but I didn't finish making the artifact."
"Tony raised an eyebrow,
"Really? I figured you would have been done by now. Couldn't like to make them appear? I know you have a spell that does something like that."
Isaiah shrugged,
"I mean I could, but I don't want to do that."
"Why?"
"I wanted to make the artifacts myself and also improve them. And I need your help."
Tony stopped whatever he was doing and turned to him as he paid full attention. It was not often the child asked for help since Tony was not a sorcerer.
"Really? What do you need help with?"
"Do you have an idea of something Pepper can wear every day without taking it off and without looking awkward?"
"Like... an accessory?"
"Yeah."
Tony thought for a moment,
"Earrings. Earrings would be the right choice."
Isaiah thought about it and nodded,
"That'll work!"
"It's for the artifact, right? You're going to make earrings instead of a bracelet for Pepper?"
Isaiah nodded,
"Yeah, but I don't know what size I need to make it or if what I make is even right."
"And you want my help? Sure." Tony said and dismissed all the holograms and walked up to Isaiah.
"What do you need?"
Isaiah thought about it before answering,
"I need a large magnifying glass and any tools that can carve through metal and jewelry."
"Can't you make them with magic?"
"Yeah, but I don't know what they look like?"
"Alright, come here."
Tony guided Isaiah toward a workbench when he saw a large magnifying glass meant for works of small sizes.
"Wait here."
Isaiah watched his father leave before turning to the table. He then looked at the ring of Solomon and concentrated. The ring shone a little and, out of nowhere, a small piece of gold, silver, and platinum appeared along with multiple pieces of jewels. Isaiah then turned back when he saw his father come back with some sort of small case.
"Here."
Isaiah grabbed the case and opened it and saw multiple tools meant for jewelry carving. They looked very sophisticated and beautiful.
"Where did you get this? You're not one to make jewelry." Isaiah asked.
Tony smirked,
"One of the shops where I regularly buy jewelry gifted this set to me. It's been sitting and collecting dust for a while since, just like you said, I don't make jewelry. Anyway, is this good enough for what you need?"
Isaiah examined the tools one by one before putting them back into the case and giving them back to his father. The latter gave him a confused look,
"I thought you needed it?"
"I did, but now I don't." Isaiah replied, "These tools are ideal if I were to simply carve jewels. But that's not what I'm doing, is it?"
Tony put the case away and shook his head,
"No."
"That's right. I'm making artifacts and I need proper tools that can help channel energy while carving."
Tony grabbed a chair and listened to Isaiah,
"Is that so, then what kind of tools would you need to be able to channel energy?"
Isaiah smiled,
"Tools made from specific materials that came from the very earth without any modifications."
"Such as."
"Minerals, metal, organic material."
"Organic material?
"Yup! Like bones."
Tony got curious,
"Why?"
"Because organic materials are the best conductors of magical energy. It's why most of the clothes in Kamar-Taj are made from organic fiber or other similar materials."
"But why organic material? Why not metal or the tools I gave you."
"Hmm. I'm not going to go into details, but organic material possessed life force when they were alive. This led them to be the perfect capacitors for energy such as Universal energy or dimensional energy." Isaiah then asked his father, You've heard about some fantasy stories where the sorcerer carved their staff out of some mystical tree, right?"
"Yeah,"
"That was because that tree has "absorbed"-"Isaiah made air quotes," nature energy and evolved sort of to allow them to channel magic into them."
"Okay?"
"It's almost the same thing here. Due to the life, they have led when they were alive, plants and animals contain said "nature energy" or experience that allows them to be the perfect material to conduct energy. From their birth to their death, their life experience, as well as their constant use of their life force, molded their bodies into perfect capacitors. It's why some rituals, mostly demonic, require living or dead sacrifices due to that very reason." Isaiah finished.
"Huh? That's something you don't learn every day." Tony replied after hearing Isaiah's explanation. "So how are you going to get whatever you need?"
"Actually, I can just go grab a branch from outside. Let me go get one real quick."
"Sure."
Isaiah then quickly left the workshop to get a branch from one of the trees outside. Tony on the other hand laid his eyes on the worktable and was bewildered at the sight of the pieces of precious metal and jewels on the table.
"Damn. He probably doesn't even know the worth of these. I wonder where he got them."
Tony smiled and sat back down. He liked these moments when he can just talk to his son like this. If he asked his younger self that one day he would be enjoying time like this with a son, younger Tony would've scoffed at him and probably punch him in the face. The man chuckled at the idea.
Before long, Tony saw his son come back with a branch the size of a ruler.
"There! Now I just need to alter it to make it into a disposable carving tool," the boy said.
Tony watched his son stare at the branch. Circuit-like marks appeared on the branch and it became thinner and sleeker while the end of the stick became extremely pointy. Probably pointy enough to stab something. Instead of a stick, it resembled one of the carving tools he had previously given to Isaiah.
"So how are you going to make the earrings? Do you need all these?" Tony asked while gesturing to the precious materials.
"Oh. These? No, these are just choices. I need your help choosing what metal to use as the base and which jewel to use as the magical conductor."
"But where did you get these?" Tony couldn't help but ask.
"Did I not tell you?"
Isaiah showed the ring,
"This is the ring of Solomon."
"Solomon as the ancient king of Israel!?" the man asked in surprise.
Isaiah nodded,
"Yeah, Apparently Solomon was once a Sorcerer Supreme before Teacher. Her teacher found this ring, but couldn't use it since it required someone with the ability to wield mana to use it. And since mana itself is extremely rare, it's been sitting in Kamar-Taj for centuries."
"So what does it do?"
"The ring itself doesn't do anything, but it contains something."
"Like... a pocket dimension?"
"Yeah! This ring contains the treasury of Solomon."
Tony's eyes bugged out,
"If the stories I heard about the guy were right. Then it would mean that his treasury would be huge."
"There are literally mountains of gold and jewels inside this ring along with books about his life and magic."
Tony was not usually interested in history, but this was different. A real proof of someone dead for centuries was right in front of him.
Tony didn't know what to think about this situation. One way or another, Isaiah continued to shock him,
"I can show you some stuff if you want?"
Tony held his hand up,
"Why don't we do this later? You still need to make the artifact before those guys arrive."
"Oh right. So what should I choose?"
Tony looked at the choices for a moment and nodded,
"I think the gold base with the opal will look good."
"Okay!" Isaiah said and all the precious material except the chosen ones returned into his ring.
"Let's get started. How do you think I should do it."
And so Tony and Isaiah discussed how the earrings were to be made. After almost half an hour, they've come to a decision. It would be a simple design meant for earrings that Pepper could wear every day.
Isaiah took the gold piece and cast (Alteration). The gold piece glowed blue and, in front of Tony's very eyes, began to wobble and wiggle as if it had turned into liquid. Isaiah concentrated and made a small base for the earring. Isaiah then grabbed the magnifying glass and his tree branch. He cast (Reinforcement) on the latter and carved a small magical formation on the gold base using the tree branch all the while infusing Universal energy while carving. When he carved the magical formation for his dad's Mist-proof glasses, it was a rush job therefore he didn't use any special tools to carve it. Rush jobs like that tend to fade after a certain time. However, after almost a year of getting used to the Mist and the world it hides, Tony, Pepper, and Happy were now clear-sighted mortals albeit artificial ones, unlike Sally Jackson. Therefore, Isaiah didn't need to create other glasses
After creating the base, Isaiah then took the opal and did the same with it, and added the rest of the formation on it. He then used (Alteration) to stick the gold and opal together.
After 10 minutes, the earrings were made and Tony stared at them in awe. They were simple in design, but the way Isaiah had attached the gold base with the opal made it seem like it was all one piece. When asked the boy, he told him that he had taken inspiration from magnetic earrings. When observed through the magnifying glass, He could see an intricate design which was most likely the magical formation to protect their minds from telepathic attacks.
"This is amazing, Isaiah. It's like it was made by a professional. Did the Sorcerer Supreme teach you to make stuff like these?"
Isaiah shook his head,
"Although she thought me how to make formations, she didn't teach me to make stuff like this. I mostly went by instincts."
Tony scoffed in amusement,
"Well. Then your instincts are very scary."
It was then an idea struck his mind,
"Why don't we do the same with the bracelets?"
Isaiah nodded,
"Alright!"
Tony then suggested some adjustments for Happy and his bracelet which Isaiah happily obliged.
***
It was now 3:00 PM. Isaiah was watching the TV while Tony was in the workshop working on something the military had asked for. He didn't really ask for any details as it didn't interest him much. It was then Jarvis informed him that Pepper and Happy had arrived at the house.
The boy lifted his head up to see the man and woman enter the living room.
"Welcome back guys!"
They both smiled,
"Hey, there kiddo." Happy replied,
"Hello, to you too Isaiah." Pepper also replied.
"Did you get anything?" the boy asked.
Well-" Pepper began as she fished a USB out of her purse, " due to the time constraint, I couldn't find much, but everything I did find is in here."
"Okay. Let's go see dad!" the boy said.
The adults followed the pre-teen into the workshop where they saw Tony looking at some blueprints.
"Dad. Happy and Pepper are back!" the boy said.
The man himself looked up and saw his subordinates,
"Hey." Tony said as he put the blueprints down, "So?"
"Here," Pepper said and handed him the USB.
"Alright. But before that, Isaiah?"
"Oh! Right." Isaiah said and opened his hands.
Suddenly, two small cases the size of a fist appeared in his hands. One was a beautiful black while the other was white that almost seemed to shine.
"Here, I made these for you." the boy said as he handed the black box to Happy and the white one to Pepper.
Both raised an eyebrow before opening it and they caught their breath at the sight of the artifact.
"This is..." Pepper said as she stared at the beautiful earrings.
"Yup! Those are the artifacts meant to protect your minds."
"He made them." Tony quickly said.
Isaiah shot him a look for spoiling them, but the man ignored it with a grin.
"You mean he made them from scratch?" Happy asked.
He turned to Isaiah,
"You made them from scratch," he asked while holding a silver bracelet. The underside of the bracelet covered a thin layer of silk he had found lying in his ring. That would prevent the bracelet from chaffing Happy's skin while he worked or something. It was Tony's idea.
"Yeah. Since I needed to make artifacts, it would be better to make it from scratch since I needed to add formations while making it. Although, magic helped a lot in constructions of said artifacts."
"They're beautiful. Let me put them on." Pepper said as she took off her earrings to put on the new ones. Happy did the same with the bracelets.
"How are they?" asked Pepper.
"They're beautiful," Tony said without hesitation.
"O... Oh. Thanks," Pepper replied with a slight stutter.
Happy grinned at the bracelet fitting snugly on his wrist.
"Although, there is a side-effect."
Pepper and Happy looked at Isaiah.
"Due to the nature of the spell, you're going to feel a slightly bigger appetite."
"Really?" Happy asked.
"Really."
"Huh, neat."
Pepper hugged the boy,
"Thank you, Isaiah."
"You're welcome, Pepper."
"Thanks, kiddo."
"No problem."
Isaiah probed their minds to check if the spell worked and only felt static therefore the artifacts were a success.
"Now that's done. Let's see what you got, shall we?" Tony said as he held up the USB.
However, as they were about to check the USB's content on the Holotable, Isaiah suddenly paused, making Pepper almost slam into him.
"Isaiah?" asked Pepper a little startled.
Seeing his expression, Happy and Tony frowned,
"What's wrong, Isaiah?" Tony asked.
"Someone's coming." the boy replied.
As of now, Isaiah could now sense energies up to 100 meters in radius passively, but if he really concentrated, he could sense up to 150 meters. And now, something was approaching the mansion. He could sense different energies as well. One seemed to have an effect on the environment.
"Where?" Tony asked,
"That side." Isaiah pointed in a direction inside the Workshop."
"But that's the ocean?" said Happy.
Suddenly, Jarvis's voice could be heard,
"Sir, I am receiving an incoming signal from an unidentified aircraft."
"Aircraft? How the hell wasn't I informed about it?" Happy asked.
His reaction was understandable since he's Tony's personal bodyguard as well as the Head of Security at Stark Industries.
"The aircraft seems to be stealth-based since the systems weren't able to identify it. The only reason I could is that I am receiving a call." Jarvis replied.
Tony frowned,
"Pick up."
The Holotable lit up and a call icon popped into existence.
[Hello. Am I speaking to Mr. Stark?] an older man's voice could be heard.
"Yeah. Who're you and what do you want? Not anybody just comes in with a stealth plane." Tony replied with irritation seeping from his voice.
[I mean you no harm, Mr. Stark. Let me introduce myself, I am Professor Charles Xavier.]
Eyebrows rose in surprise in the workshop due to the unexpected guest.
"I've heard about you. What does a guy like you need from me by coming in a stealth plane?"
[I believe it is best to talk in person. May we use your helipad? I believe this conversation would interest you immensely.]
"We?"
[Yes, I have brought three others with me due to the nature of this conversation. They will help a lot with what I would like to discuss.]
"And what is it you want to talk about?"
[I'm sure you've heard about mutants?]
Tony nodded,
"Yeah. Those people with supernatural powers. I've heard of them."
[Yes, I believe a member of your household has awakened his abilities and I would be of great help.]
"What do you mean a member of my household? There is only me." Tony replied while feigning ignorance.
[Mr. Stark. You don't need to worry. We are not here to harm you whatsoever. We simply wish to help the child get used to his ability since we have experience. I myself have founded a school for children like him.]
Tony's voice turned cold,
"How did you know I have a child or the fact that he is mine."
[When your child awakened his powers, it sent a signal that my abilities were able to intercept. When a child first awakens, it is also the time they are the most vulnerable due to the confusion it brings. If you would let us let, I believe we will be able to discuss much more.]
Tony turned to Isaiah who simply shrugged and nodded,
"Very well. You may."
Isaiah could hear a sigh of relief on the other side of the call,
[Thank you, Mr. Stark. I'm sure we will be able to help you,] Xavier said and the call ended.
Tony turned around and faced everyone,
"Well, there you have it."
"They came much sooner than I thought," Pepper said.
"Well, we better go see them," Isaiah said, but Tony could see the concealed grin on his face.
"I know you're excited to meet them Isaiah, but you have to remember that they aren't aware of the existence of magic. If they ask about your abilities, what are you going to tell them?"
"I'll just tell them I have energy manipulation," Isaiah replied as they took the elevator.
"That's... That's actually a good explanation." Tony replied.
They soon reached the roof and saw a black stealth jet hovering above the Helipad. Isaiah raised an eyebrow at the fact that the plane was not making as much noise as he thought.
'I guess that's a stealth plane for you.' Isaiah thought as he observed the situation from another location inside the mansion, but close enough to sense them accurately.
Jarvis helped him by pulling up a feed of the helipad so he can see them. It was decided that he would only come out when his dad would come.
It rotated 180 degrees on itself with the latch facing the three members of the house. Finally, it slowly descended until it gently landed on the helipad. The latch soon opened with a hiss and Isaiah could see four people exiting the aircraft.
The first man was a man in a technologically advanced wheelchair However, as soon as Isaiah saw the man, he knew it was him speaking on the phone. However, as he observed the man, Isaiah could feel some sort of energy exuding from him, especially his mind. It was similar to when he used his mental spells such as telekinesis or telepathy, but this man's energy felt much more intense.
'Is that psionic energy?'
Isaiah remembered reading about mutants back in Kamar-Taj. It was said that their powers were mostly controlled using energy called psionic energy. Psionic energy is energy formed from the mind after a mutant awakens its powers. It is also the energy that activates their abilities just like how sorcerers needed energy to manifest their spells. In fact, according to his Teacher, spells such as (Telekinesis) and (Telepathy) were created to imitate the abilities of the mutants who instinctively used their powers. However, since sorcerers didn't have psionic energy, they had to use other means which led them to create spells using their life force
He then turned to the second person. She was a dark-skinned woman with one of the whitest hair he had ever seen in his life. And she was not even old. Although, his teacher didn't look old either so he couldn't be sure. However, his teacher didn't have hair either therefore he doesn't have much to compare the two women. However, he could sense the tremendous amount of energy inside of her. However, the energy was strange. It resembled that of the Professor, but at the same time, she seemed to have an unusually high amount of it. However, unlike the professor's, her energy seemed to have some sort of... flavor. It was intimately attuned to Nature energy. If Isaiah didn't know any better, he would have mistaken her for a powerful sorceress due to how her energy resembled greatly that of a sorcerer.
The third person was a burly man. He also seemed to exude the aura of a beast if Isaiah were to describe him. Not much could be said except that he too could sense the same energy as the Professor, but all over his body and especially his hand which was bigger than his face. His senses were also enhanced by the way the man seemed to sniff around him. Although, it didn't show much. However, he had a huge amount of life force. Even more than the Sorcerer Supreme. Although, she seemed to circumvent that problem by using some dark energy that came from somewhere. He should probably ask how she did it.
Finally, the last member was a girl who seemed to be his age. She looked around in awe. Probably amazed by the vastness of the estate. Although she seemed harmless, her energy says otherwise. She had much more psionic energy than the Professor himself who had the highest amount so far. It was like comparing a dam to a well. And her energy seemed weird. She also seemed to have an unusually high amount of life force for a girl her age. He didn't know how to explain it. It was bright and dim at the same time. It felt hot, but it would feel warm. But there was a certain heat to it. It reminded difference between an inferno and a campfire. Her energy seemed mostly concentrated in her mind leading him to think that she had similar abilities to the professor. Her energy seemed to pique his interest a lot as it was so unique. Something seemed off. It was like something seems missing. Isaiah couldn't stop feeling her energy.
It was then Xaiver spoke,
"Thank you for letting us land Mr. Stark. I apologize for being rude to you by coming unannounced, but I believe the situation seemed quite urgent." Charles said.
Tony nodded,
"Yeah you did, but it's not like I had any other choice," Tony replied before turning to the other members of the newly arrived guest.
"Let me introduce them."
Charles pointed at the dark-skinned lady,
"This is Ororo Munroe. She is a professor at my school as well as a mentor for young mutants, guiding them in their use of power and their responsibility."
The woman stepped forward and spoke,
"It's a pleasure meeting you Mr. Stark. And Miss...?" Storm said before turning to Pepper.
"Potts. Virginia Potts. Mr. Stark's secretary. And this is Harold Hogan, Mr. Stark's personal bodyguard as well as the Head of Security of Stark Industries." Pepper replied in a professional voice as she presented her and Happy who simply nodded.
"It's a pleasure meeting you Miss Potts and Mister Hogan," Munroe said with a smile.
"What's your shtick?" asked Tony as he adopted his outdoor persona.
Munroe lifted her hand toward the sky. Isaiah felt a spike in energy and they all saw a dark cloud form above their head. it rumbled and they could also see some arcs of thunder ready to be unleashed. She soon waved her hand and the cloud dispersed. Isaiah was shocked at how easily all of that happened. It was like her energy itself knew what to do.
"I'm able to control the atmosphere and its weather. I can turn a sunny day into a rainy one. I can summon wind for a breeze or a storm whenever I want." Munroe said with a smirk.
Tony let out an impressed whistle,
"Damn."
But internally, his thoughts were something else,
'Isaiah is better. He can make things out of nowhere. I'm sure he can do whatever you did. It's my son after all. Hehehe.'
He would have probably let out an evil cackle if he could. Alas, this was not the time.
Pepper stared at her boss with a suspicious look as if she knew what he was thinking about even with her lack of ability or the fact that the artifacts blocked such powers.
Charles then gestured at the burly man,
"This is Logan. He is also a professor at my school along with Miss Munroe teaching kids how to use their powers as well as P.E."
The man grunted,
"A pleasure." he simply said.
"Mr. Logan has regenerative properties as well as claws in his arms," Xavier explained.
'That would explain the psionic in every part of his body as well as the concentration in his arms, thought Isaiah.
Logan lifted his right arm and balled his hand into his fist. Out of his knuckles, three claws made of metal slowly came out. Tony couldn't help, but wince at how claw cut his skin open to pop out. Although there was no blood, it made him shiver slightly.
"Doesn't it hurt?" asked Tony.
Logan shrugged,
"You get used to it."
Charles then gestured to Jean who shyly looked at Tony,
"And this is Jean Grey. She awakened her abilities at the young age of 10, but she joined us almost a year ago. She is also one of our first students along with another who couldn't come today due to the instability of his abilities. Why don't you introduce yourself, Jean."
The girl shyly stepped forward,
"H-Hi. I'm Jean Grey and I'm-I'm thirteen years old. I have telekinesis and telepathy."
She seemed to want to say something to them, but she stopped herself. She then proceeded to hover a meter off the ground.
"You can fly?" asked Pepper.
Jean returned to the ground,
"It's not stable yet, but I will in the future." the girl said with a smile.
Tony then clapped his hands,
"Now that introductions are over, shall we?" he gestured toward the elevator.
"Yes please," replied Charles.
They soon reached the living room where they all took a seat,
"Would you like something to drink?" asked Pepper.
"Water would be fine," Charles said.
"For me too," Munroe replied.
"Nothing for me," answered Logan.
"N-No thank you."
Pepper smiled,
"You don't need to be shy. You can tell me."
Jean looked at Munroe who simply smiled at her,
"Then I'll have some juice."
"Alright,"
Pepper went and grabbed the drinks before returning.
The talk then began.
"So, why have you come and want do you want with Isaiah."
Charles then spoke,
"Just as I have said. Yesterday, I sensed your child awaken his mutant power. Usually, the awakening is a period of vulnerability for a person, especially as a child. And from the power I have sensed, he seemed to have developed a particularly strong ability. Have you ever met a mutant before, Mr. Stark?"
Tony shook his head,
"No, I have not."
It was not a lie since sorcerers and demigods aren't mutants.
"People with our abilities are a minority in this world and they struggle due to the difference in their lives compared to others. That's why I have founded a school in order to guide and help them learn and control their ability so that they don't impede in their lives. It is my personal mission to ensure that the lives of mutants are as peaceful or good as possible. It is also why I would like to create a world where mutant-kind and ordinary people can coexist peacefully." Charles said before looking around,
"May I ask where the child is?"
Tony looked at the man before looking up,
"Jarvis, can you call Isaiah?"
"Affirmative, sir." the British voice answered in the room making Jean jump.
Logan looked ready to fight at the sudden voice.
"W-What was that?" asked Jean.
Tony smirked,
"That's Just A Rather Very Intelligent System or otherwise known as Jarvis. It's an intelligent servant."
"An AI?" asked Munroe.
Tony shook his head,
"No. It's just a system with specific programs I coded into it."
The fact that Tony had an AI was not known to the world. If they knew, people would be running after him for it in order to acquire it or learn its secrets. It would be too troublesome.
"Well, I wouldn't expect any less from the famous Tony Stark."
Suddenly, they heard footsteps and they turned toward one of the entrances and saw Isaiah standing there.
"You called, Dad?"
"Hello there."
The boy turned to Charles who had spoken,
"Hi."
"My name is Charles Xavier. May I ask your name?"
"Isaiah Sharpe-soon-to-also-be-Stark."
"Soon to be?" asked Charles with slight confusion.
Tony nodded,
"It's a complicated story, but Isaiah is my biological child and we haven't finalized the papers for him to officially adopt my name," Tony said.
Charles nodded not wanting to pry and pointed at the other guests.
"This is Ororo Munroe."
"It's a pleasure meeting you Isaiah." the woman said.
"This is Logan."
"Hey there, bub."
"And this is Jean Grey. We are all mutants like you."
However, Isaiah had a neutral expression as his eyes are glued to Jean.
"W-What?" the girl asked a little scared.
The boy wanted to remain silent, but his mouth moved before his mind could even think.
"You're hot."
