The Multiverse Traveller

*WARNING* *WARNING* Firstly let me get this out of the way. I've already dropped 2 other fanfictions so please don't expect much. If people who have read my other works read this as well, I am deeply sorry if I drop this cause it shows I haven't learned my lesson. Apart from that, there will be no/NADA/ZERO R-18 nor Harem content in this novel there is already enough of that on this site so I don't think you need it again. Apart from that for now I am stockpiling chapters so release rate won't be regular. BE WARNED. Every 5 billion years a tournament was held, a tournament to bring rise to a Great God. The existence of such a being could bring a race to prosperity while the loss of one could bring it to its knees. Humanity had been losing for many many many years. This was already their 629th loss when they picked Jin, the man who would be their champion who they put all their hopes on. "I may die at the Grand Races Tournament but before that, I'll try my hardest, not just for myself but for all of humanity." That was his resolution that led him to the top.

Chapter 47 An Adventure Begins

In a pub in Fantasia a robed boy sat down as people chatted around him. "They say the Ghost Dragon King was found dead." Someone in the pub said. "Not only that, but it's entire head was blown off." Another person said as he continued to chug down his beer.

"The scary thing is, for someone to have that kind of strength, they'd either have to be the Demon King or someone as strong as him." A man chimed in.

'So they already found out about the mess I made.' Jin thought as he ate the food on his plate. 'It's been a week now since then, and I've found out I've inherited the same abilities as the Hero had, meaning I am already ready for the war.' Jin continued as the people in the pub continued to chat merrily.

'It's surprsing though that it's considered a "set" or whatever, and it's equivalent to 3rd Stage Mid, this means I have another amazing power in my arsenal.' Jin thought as he finished his food and got up to leave.

After that he walked out of the city, and walked towards the mountainous area around the city. Once there he took off his cloak and placed it on a rock beside a lake.

"In total I have a poison ability, energy manipulation, an enhancement ability, a mobility and attack ability, a sure kill ability, a regeneration ability, another enhancement ability and detection and prediction ability. But I can't help thinking I am missing something." Jin said to himself as he headed into the lake.

"Could it be a weapon? No, I never really liked the thought of one. I got it! A fighting style." Jin said as he slammed his fist on his palm. Throughout his training and fighting Jin had never learnt a fighting style, he just gained more and more strength and abilities, and never really paid attention to the basics.

"During my training with Rayleigh we only ever focused on learning haki and increasing our base physique strength, never actual fighting techniques. In fact, now that I think about it, his training actually resembled Master Roshi's training in Dragon Ball." Jin said to himself as he began to wonder.

"Regardless, there's no time like the present, I mean I have 2 years." Jin continued as he reached the center of the lake.

'So what to do now? Maybe I should try the horse stance?' Jin thought as he bent his knees 90 degrees as he placed his arms at his sides. 'I may have been a weeb, but the only shit I learnt from those novels, shows, and manga were how to train with abstract concepts the author made up, not how to train properly. I mean 100 push ups, 100 sits, 100 squats, and 10km running may help but I ain't gonna become Saitama.' Jin thought as he held the position.

'This is way too easy.' He thought as he held it for 5 minutes. After 4 hours he stopped and he got himself dressed again. 'Should I go do a mission now? Or should I just catch a wild animal?' Jin thought as he walked away from the lake.

Almost immediately after, he heard a noise close by. "I guess I'll catch one." Jin said to himself as he disappeared. A few minutes later he appeared back at the lake along with a wolf corpse, and a bunch of sticks.

'That was easy, now to light the fire.' Jin thought as he created a pit and placed the sticks inside. After that he brought out a piece of flint and lit a spark with it.

Soon after a great fire began to roar. "Using the horse stance by itself is clearly useless, maybe I should try it under a water fall? Or maybe in a volcano, or a freezing tundra?" Jin said to himself as the sun began to set.

As he debated what to do next, Jin began to skin the animal. The fire began to wane as he spent his time slowly skinning the animal, but every time it looked like the fire was about to burn out, Jin would shoot a small shot of air to fuel it further.

"Damn, I feel lonely. I didn't think I'd miss those 3 so much." Jin said to himself as he continued to skin the animal. "I wonder what we'll do after the tournament, well that is, if I win the tournament." Jin said as he finished skinning the animal.

"Regardless, it's time to cook dinner." Jin said as he skewered the wolf meat and held it over the fire. At this time the sun had now completely disappeared, and night had set in and Jin sat alone cooking his dinner.

'Should I make more comrades here? Or would I have too many at that point? I mean I already have Izuku, Kai, Eri, Hermes, All Might and Rayleigh, along with all the Yakuza. Do I really need more comrades, at least for now.' Jin thought as his eyes focused on the fire.

"I don't know, I am just an average person at the end of the day. I am just 1 out of 630 people to be chosen to compete throughout the years, no?" Jin chuckled as the meat finished cooking.

'Fuck it, I'll just go out and adventure, protagonist style.' Jin thought as he took a bite out of the meat. After finishing up, he put out the fire and slept on the ground.

The Next Day

As the sun rose over the horizon the light hit Jin's eyes as he woke up. "I guess it's time to start my adventure, no?" Jin said to himself. After that he packed the little things he had and began to walk in a random direction.

'So, should I look at some volcanoes? Or should I go look at a few icebergs?' Jin thought as he walked and gazed at the sky. "Maybe I can look at both, I have 2 years after all." He said to himself as he put his hood over his head.

"Dude, I am so bored, it feels like time is in slow motion." Azizi said as Zubin shook his head. "So do I, I don't know what it is, but it feels like it takes days for this boy to walk a single step." Zubin replied.

"Exactly man, what is wrong with him." Azizi said as he shook his head. "Regardless, since he isn't doing much right now, what should we do?" Azizi continued as he placed his hand on his chin.

"We could take a closer look at Jin's abilities, assuming he fails and there's a next time we participate." Zubin said as a spark went off in his brain.

"Ya good idea, Guide to Victory System open. I want detail on the powers he gained after fighting Nebius." Azizi said as a system interface opened.

Guide to Victory System Updated:

Chaotic Dragonic Essence:

Grade: 3rd Stage Mid

Description: The culmination of most of the Chaos Dragon Nebius' abilities. This includes a high affinity to chaos and poison, along with a high resistance to poison. The ability to release a breath of poison, and a high amount of demonic energy. This power includes multiple powers inside, which could be considered, a set. Also included is the power of "Never Forgetting".

Most of this ability is self explanatory but the "Never Forgetting" aspect of the ability is special. This doesn't mean perfect memory but that no skill or techniques will be lost if the user is reverted to a prior state. As show by Kang Han Soo when he kept all his skill when sent to his 3rd round in Fantasia

"Good to know, I'll write this into the Compendium of Powers." Zubin said as he began to write something down. "I am pretty sure this is already in there." Azizi said when Zubin smirked. "It isn't this is a rare ability." Zubin said with a smirk.

"I swear I've seen it before, eh, well I guess the other Gods weren't bothered to enter it into the Compendium." Azizi said nonchalantly as he floated in the void.

"Anyway, when will the Ancient Colosseum open?" Zubin asked. "In approximately 2 years, but I fear he won't be strong enough." Azizi said as he shook his head. "Well, we'll wait and see." Zubin simply replied.

Anyway, hello there. Ya I am late yet again. Honestly I am a horrible author, I admit that, regardless though my upload speed might hopefully maybe increase, my school days have become a lot easier so my time in which I can make a chapter has increased, so that's a plus.

Anyway sorry again, and till next time, bye.
