The Multiverse Traveller

*WARNING* *WARNING* Firstly let me get this out of the way. I've already dropped 2 other fanfictions so please don't expect much. If people who have read my other works read this as well, I am deeply sorry if I drop this cause it shows I haven't learned my lesson. Apart from that, there will be no/NADA/ZERO R-18 nor Harem content in this novel there is already enough of that on this site so I don't think you need it again. Apart from that for now I am stockpiling chapters so release rate won't be regular. BE WARNED. Every 5 billion years a tournament was held, a tournament to bring rise to a Great God. The existence of such a being could bring a race to prosperity while the loss of one could bring it to its knees. Humanity had been losing for many many many years. This was already their 629th loss when they picked Jin, the man who would be their champion who they put all their hopes on. "I may die at the Grand Races Tournament but before that, I'll try my hardest, not just for myself but for all of humanity." That was his resolution that led him to the top.

Chapter 27 Subjugation

"Wooh, that was tough!" An outlaw said as he wiped his sweat. Currently, all the outlaws were extremely tired out. This was because Jin and Kai had just forced them to fight countless pirates which they had met on the way.

"So that makes about 200 pirates." Jin mumbled as he looked at the countless knocked out pirates littered around. 'With this, we'll have enough money for a long time.' Jin thought as he move around the mask placed on his nose.

He had decided that it was too risky to reveal his identity to everyone, and since these 100 would be his main forces, he wouldn't mind them knowing his true face, but others wouldn't be allowed to see his face, at least not for now. 'Man Overhaul really does come in handy.' Jin thought as he continued to think about what to do next.

"What now?" Kai asked as he saw Jin in deep thought. Jin stood there quietly for a moment before a flash of light flickered in his eyes.

"Men, I think all of you by now have grown to respect and fear our power. Along with our prior threat, I am sure you'll do nothing stupid, so who wants to control Sabaody?" Jin said as he grinned.

Hearing this the outlaws gulped down hard. 'He must be insane!' 'Is this man high!?' 'Who does he think we are? Navy admirals?' They thought one after the other as cold sweat dripped down their faces.

Seeing this Jin chuckled. "Don't worry, I don't mean literally. I mean more in a sense of, controlling the lawless zone. In that way as long as we don't offend the Celestial Dragons we'll be fine." Jin said as he explained his thoughts.

The outlaws grew more confident hearing this, as they had truly never seen a man stronger than Jin in person. So as long as they didn't provoke the Navy they felt they could surely accomplish this. "Do you have a plan though?" An outlaw asked curiously.

"HAHAHA! Who needs a plan when you have power?" Jin said as he laughed. 'Even if the plan doesn't work I can still run away with Kai, not like you guys are exactly good people anyway. Though Kai and I can't say much.' Jin thought as they continued marching across Sabaody.

Eventually, the reached another town and the residents immediately gazed at them warily. Seeing this Jin nudged Kai. "Give a speech." He whispered as more and more residents arrived.

"Ehem! We are the Yakuza from now on this town will be under our control!" Kai said as the residents looked at him like he a lunatic. "PFF! With only this much people!?" A man said as he laughed.

Hearing this Kai was irritated and began to take his gloves off. "N-No need Boss! You don't need to act personally." An outlaw said as he walked towards the man. "Stay back!" Jin said as he walked forward hastily.

"Old man, there's no need for you to make an appearance so early, and I think it'd be best if you stay out of this." Jin said as he locked eyes with the old man. "Hmm, as long as you don't bother me!" He said before taking a swig of wine and walking away.

The crowd seeing this had grown much more relaxed. 'What spineless cowards.' They thought as they took them much less seriously. Kai was visibly annoyed seeing this. "You think I am a joke? Do you think the Yakuza is a joke? I'll show you! I'll show you all!" Kai said as he put his hands on the ground.

Immediately spikes erupted from the ground and began to pierce towards people.

"AHH!"

"NO IT CANT END LIKE THIS!!"

"GAHH!!"

Civilians said one after the other as they sensed their impending doom. But before they could be killed the spikes stopped, before retracting and disappearing. "That was a warning. Now bring the leaders of all the large businesses in this town!" Kai said as he got up from the ground.

Hearing this, multiple civilians immediately ran off to go fetch these people. "How do you know they won't just escape?" Jin asked as he gazed at Kai. "Who would leave their home, when all they need to do is bring a few people." Kai said as he cleaned his hands thoroughly. (remember, wash your hands!)

"I guess you have a point." Jin said as he gazed around. 'It seems that I am truly not cut out to be a hero.' Jin thought as a smile which was not a smile flashed on his face.

After this thought, Kai put on a new set of gloves before gazing at Jin. "Why'd you stop him." Kai said while looking displeased. "There's still much you don't know, after this, I'll write a book full of important information for you, so you know the do's and the dont's of this place." Jin said as the civilians began to arrive back.

Sadly no one new was in sight. "W-We're sorry sir the business owners don't want to come out." A civilian said shakily as he kneeled. "Oh, no need to worry then." Jin said before continuing. "By the way how many big businesses are there here."

"F-Five Sir!" The civilian said as he began to tear up. "No, don't cry I am harmless really. After all I am a hero." Jin said as he pointed to himself. Hearing this the civilian didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

"Just take us to the 5 businesses and after that, we'll give you a reward." Kai said as he grew tired of this farce. "Certainly!" He said as he got up. After that, he began to lead the group to the 1st business. "Wait, you guys stay here, it'll be easier to move around with fewer people." Jin said as he followed after the civilian along with Kai.

With that, the group of a hundred or so outlaws stayed behind as a group of 3 walked to each business. As if the angel of death appeared, by the end of their visit each owner would be crying on the ground, being only left with these words "You serve the Yakuza now."

This may seem like a cruel or even villainous tactic but Jin didn't have time to waste. 'I don't have time to waste.' He thought as they finished up subjugating the businesses in the town. "Now for your reward." Kai said as he tapped the civilian. Immediately he disassembled and reassembled.

"Gahh!"

He squealed as he clutched his body. Soon after he stopped though as he came back to his senses. "I feel, stronger." He said. "Well not exactly, but if you think so that's good. Our work here is done." Kai said as he turned around before doing his usual routine.

As Jin and Kai walked away the civilian stood there stunned. "W-Wait can I join you!?" He asked as he chased after them. "....Sure, your name?" Jin said. "My name, my name is Hermes." The golden-haired man said.

"Weird name, but I welcome you, Hermes." Jin said as they continued walking towards the group of outlaws. Hermes quickly followed along and stood behind Jin and Kai.

"Off we go, to the next town." Jin said as he turned. "YES BOSS!" The outlaws said as they got ready to leave. Some of them grabbed the carts behind them and soon they began to march away.

"I feel a storm is brewing, one even worse than that which "those" pirates will bring along." An old lady said as she looked on warily.

After this day, Groves 29 to 26 became a part of the Yakuza's land and tales of the Crow of Destruction and the Smiling Man of Death spread throughout the lawless zone.

In the evening at Grove 72. "Man, I don't know how you managed to come up with the money for this so quickly Jin." Izuku said as he lay on his bed. "Shut up would you." Kai said as he tried to sleep.

Currently, he was wearing a flatter mask and not his typical plague doctor mask. Jin had suggested this as otherwise, it would be too easy to link him back to "the Crow of Destruction".

"Come on, you best get along considering you're going to have longggg journey together." Jin said as he emphasized his point. "Whatever, I don't know why we're sleeping in the same room. We can afford one for each of us for God's sake!" Kai said while annoyed.

Hearing this Jin smiled. "This way it's cheaper." Jin said before grabbing something from the table beside him. "By the way read this in your free time Izuku." Jin said as he tossed a book towards him.

"Hmm, what's this?" Izuku asked curiously. "A book with everything you need to know of this world." Jin said turning over. "Anyway let's go to bed." Jin said.

Before he could linger on into dreamland though, a voice sounded out. "Are you sure she'll be alright alone, though?" Izuku asked. "Ya, she won't do anything stupid." Jin said as he got an alert.

Well I hope you enjoyed the chapter. Now I am not gonna say some bull shit, I may or may not post a chapter tomorrow, honestly it depends on my mood. These days I've been very volatile for some reason.

Apart from that though if I post tomorrow, and the day after, updates SHOULD be consistent as once I get into a routine it stays till it gets interrupted. (you can see this from my past upload rate till I took a break)

Besides that, I love your support but I urge you NOT to give me power stones. It simply isn't worth it and if I end up dropping this I'll feel even worse for taking the support of another novel. Either way I appreciate comments, and since that only takes 5 seconds, I am sure you can spare that time to tell me if I am doing well or not. I'd appreciate it. (especially since it takes and hour if not more to write each chapter (then again I choose to do this and amn't force to(or am I??)))

Jokes aside though, I wish you guys well and I hope to see you next time, bye.
