Chapter 173: Small Test (1)

~Third POV~

[The Next Day, Student Council Chambers]

Satsuki was finalizing the plans for the upcoming School Raids Trip with the Elite Four as Sanageyama spoke seriously, "Athletic Committee squads 1 through 11, preparations complete. Assigning to Osaka Raid Trip Brigade."

Nonon soon spoke in a neutral tone with her arms crossed her status report of the School Raid Trip, "Non-Athletic squads 1 through 18, preparations complete. Assigning to Kyoto Raid Trip Brigade."

Gamagori soon followed leaning on the couch and spoke seriously of his status report within his committee, "The Disciplinary Committee is more than sufficient for the Kobe Raid Trip Brigade!"

Sanageyama nods his head to his reports and gives advice to Gamagori in a neutral tone, "Being an elite corps is all well and good, but don't fail."

Nonon agreed with his words as she responded in a snarky tone leaning on her back on the couch, "Yeah, nobody wants to see you committing seppuku, Ira. The cleanup of your guts would be a pain."

Gamagori however simply nodded as he spoke in a calm tone, "You needn't worry. We'll succeed."

Typing on his laptop Inumuta spoke in a neutral tone forming strategies as he informed his collogues, "I have formed an information strategy team with the PC Club at its core. The information network in each city is already under our control."

Satsuki nodded at the planning as she drifted her attention to the Sewing Club President in a neutral tone, "Yes, Milady. Development and manufacture of the Anti-Osaka, Anti-Kyoto, and Anti-Kobe Combat-spec Goku Uniforms are complete. They are being distributed as we speak. As for you Elite Four, new Three-Star Goku Uniforms are currently being made for all of you, in the meantime, you will have to use the same Goku Uniforms as the other Students."

Shiro Iori is the president of the Sewing Club and a member of the Student Council along with Satsuki Kiryuin and the Elite Four.

Shiro is a fairly slim individual, although not very tall evidenced in that he appears a few inches shorter than Satsuki. He has long, yellow-blond hair that goes down to his upper back, tied back in a ponytail while two long, split bangs frame either side of his face. He wears a pair of oval-shaped glasses and has golden eyes. He is also always seen wearing a transparent orange mask that covers the bottom half of his face.

As a student of the academy and President of the Sewing Club, Shiro dons a Three-Star Goku Uniform. His uniform takes the form of a long, white lab coat whose ends touch the ground, with two black stars appearing on either flap. Underneath this, he wears a black turtleneck and pants, along with black boots.

[SHIRO IORI]

Satsuki nods her head as she informs her Elite Four in a stoic tone eyeing them each, "Your new Three-Star Goku Uniform has been improved based on your battles with Ryuko Matoi. Look forward to them. There is no shame in your defeat at the hands of the Pure Life Fibers Kamui Senketsu."

But that was when Nonon interrupted Satsuki asking the obvious, "What about Bastion?"

Gamagori scolds Nonon but Satsuki shakes her head informing her group of the info regarding him in a stoic tone, "It's fine, Gamagori. Although scarce, Inumuta and Sanageyam were able to gather information on Mash. Unfortunately, this information cannot be integrated into the Goku Uniforms because we merely scratched the surface of his true abilities isn't that right Sanageyama."

All eyes were on Sanageyama as he explained the best he could in a curious tone leaning his back on the couch, "Yeah… honestly, it's scary to recall. It was brief but for a second, I saw a scare blue hue around him along with an intensive heat behind his attack but…"

Inumuta soon interrupted continuing Sanageyama's words in a neutral tone with a curious grin on his face, "It's more of a theory provided by Lady Satsuki. You recall how Lady Satsuki fought against Ryuko Matoi in their climax battle?"

They all nodded with Gamagori and Nonon confused as Inumuta soon dropped the verbal bomb informing them in a curious tone, "Lady Satsuki got stronger, or rather Junketsu did with Mash Bastion's presence. I didn't realize this till Lady Satsuki hypothesized the theory that his mere presence somehow made the Life Fibers evolve. Almost as if they were… afraid of him. Even if no one noticed our uniforms were wriggling fighting him."

Nonon took a moment to process the words before frowning at the idea speaking in a harsh tone, "Not to be rude, but there is no way that's possible."

Gamagori took Nonon's side finding it impossible to fathom as he spoke in a neutral tone arms crossed, "Pardon my insolence, Lady Satsuki, but it seems too farfetched for someone's mere presence to affect Life Fibers, much less evolve them."

Satsuki nodded, agreeing with him as she spoke stoically with a glint of curiosity in her eyes, "I'm aware of that. I was doubtful about that at the beginning. But that all changed when my mother appeared saying she came by instinct something calling to her or within her Life Fibers. I shall find this out myself with a small test. Gamagori."

He soon stood up at the ready as Satsuki spoke in a stoic tone gazing at him, "I have something I'd like for you to do…"

[Honno City, One-Star District]

Inside Mash's apartment, Ryuko lays on her futon in her room, depressed and ashamed of herself for losing against Satsuki during the most critical moment. Ryuko had her pajamas on, gazing at Senketsu hanging up above her asked in a depressed tone, "Senketsu we were so close, and yet… that damn Kiryuin managing to one-up me… sigh…"

Senketsu remained silent for a while before ultimately responding in a stoic tone, "Maybe but in the end, Junketsu and I are both Kamui. We ultimately power our wearers so in the end what you need is to get stronger yourself Ryuko."

Ryuko turned her head up to the ceiling. But soon enough Mash entered checking up to see her with a calm tone bring a small basket of coquettes and said, "Hey Ryuko? How are you feeling? Mako came by to drop off her mom's mystery coquettes for you seeing your feeling under the weather."

She soon began to semi-stand up with a wry smile on her face seeing a friend reply in a friendly tone with a bitter frown, "Oh Mash. No… I still feel like shit when I was this close but… but… damn it!"

*Bam*

Slamming her fist onto the futon Mash took a seat next to her as she bitterly vented her inner frustrations, "I hate this feeling… being fucking weak when the goal was in sight… it's unfair…"

Letting her vent Mash sighed as he replied to her frustration in a calm tone caressing her head, "Ain't that the truth. Life is unfair Gear Eyes but… you just have to improve the next time you meet against Eyebrows. I mean she probably had more formal training than a punk like you but you have something she lacks."

Hearing his words prompted Ryuko to listen intently as she asked in a curious tone wiping the tears from her eyes, "What do I have that she doesn't?"

He grinned fist bumping onto her chest with an encouraging tone providing motivational advice to the depressed Ryuko, "Motivation, determination, and sheer fucking willpower. You've had your ass kicked before on multiple occasions. But despite getting beaten you always found your way to stand right up for the challenge. How's this any different?"

She merely laughed at his words scolding her friend feeling a bit better about herself in a calm tone, "Haha… man you suck at motivating people by mentioning how often I get my ass handed to me, who does that? Did you steal those cheesy lines from a fortune cookie or something?"

Mash smiled seeing her be a bit happier than the depressed sight he saw in a happier tone twirling his finger at her, "Please? The Fortune Cookie would steal my igneous ideas from me, not the other way around."

Ryuko rolled her eyes but felt a bit better as he handed her the basket of coquettes and he spoke in a casual tone, "Still good to see you're back to your normal self. Had me a bit worried with how depressed you were."

Taking a fork out from the basket of freshly made coquettes Ryuko smiled seeing him worried about her and replied in a casual tone, "You worried about me? Jeez, didn't think you cared that much but no worries I always bounce back. Still being depressed wouldn't do me any good. I'll just challenge Satsuki again when I'm ready."

Taking a bite out of the croquettes made Mash laugh going for a jab at her making her freeze in place of his comment, "That's good to hear and here I was worried that if you lay around all day you're going to get fat. Could you imagine what you'd look like if you put on Senketsu and you were too fat?"

There was a dead silence in the air as Senketsu sighed giving a small prayer to Mash's famous last words in a stoic tone, "Sigh… it was worth knowing you Mash Bastion may you rest in peace…."

Ryuko's eyes were shadowed by her hair but soon grit her teeth recoiling her arm and punching Mash on the face in an angry tone, "YOU ARE A FUCKING JERK!!!"

*BAM*

Landing a hit on his face Mash was sent flying away with noticeable surprise written on his face feeling pain rubbing his cheek, 'Hold up… she did damage to me?! Now that's surprising…'

Having been kicked out of her room shutting its lock he landed a way away on his head as he got up muttering to himself in a calm tone, "Ow. Well, she's cheered up. Thank God."

Rubbing his face there was genuine surprise feeling the pain in a surprised tone, "But I'm more surprised by the fact she can deal damage to me. Granted it was 1 HP but still that's startling to think I wonder how – "

*Knock*

*Knock*

However, he was soon interrupted by his thoughts hearing knocking on his door. He raised an eyebrow as he decided to answer opening the door to reveal a teenage boy in a serious tone spoke, "I am Shinijiro Nagita! Former member of the Newspaper Club! And I need you and Matoi's help!"

['SHINIJIRO NAGITA']

Mash simply squinted his eyes at the teen not buying his disguise for a second and replied in a neutral tone lying about Ryuko's location, "Uh huh… sure. Let's take this elsewhere just you and mean since Gear Eyes is away currently revisiting her old home. But let's talk know any private place where no one will hear us?"

'Nagita' nodded his head showing Mash the way as he didn't know about her true identity but contrary Mash knew what kind of person or parasite he was dealing with in a rather foul mood. But he hid his emotions thanks to his Authority of Lust, [Faker] hiding it well from the person in front of him.

Mash can already guess Nui wants to harm Ryuko so he decides to ask a few questions of his while wanting to know her true intentions as he thinks in a casual tone, 'Besides that, I wonder what this psycho loli wants from me? And why was Ragyo here in Honnouji Academy yesterday… there's something I'm missing here but what…'
