Chapter 141: [King of Magic] is a Faker

Chapter 141: [King of Magic] is a Faker

~Third POV~

[Outside Fuyuki City]

*Shiii*

Both were suddenly alerted by an unknown presence as Solomon began casting his incantation as Enkidu and Mash seemingly slowed down under his influence in a neutral tone his verses, "Yayn. Yanor. Nasnia. Salla. Sadedalli. Thamur. Ourer. Thaine. Neron. Yayon. Abai. Nathalon. Raphael. Gabriel. Cassiel. Sachiel. Zamael. Michael. Anael. Haniel. Tzaphqiel. Khaniael. Sealtiel. Barachiel. [The Time of Crowning Has Come, He Is the One Who Begins All: Ars Paulina]!"

Upon finishing his incantation activating his Noble Phantasm [Ars Paulina] soon enveloped them in a flash of light amid defeating Gilgamesh they suddenly vanished…

/////

[Ars Paulina]

Standing among the Ars Paulina Mash had a bored expression on his face meeting the [King of Magic] speaking in a neutral tone, "… Huh. Should've known you'd throw a Reality Marble in this mix. The latest one I experienced was with arid sands, a harsh climate, and an army of bros ready to decimate along with their king. This? Feels like I'm in the Reverse World again…"

Speaking his mind, he felt like he was standing in the middle of Avalon again. The sky was clear, the air was gentle, and the tranquility could quench even the most agitated soul. And there stood what would not exactly be deemed a temple, due to its simplistic design.

It was more like an altar. Multiple pillars surrounded a single throne as a ring of light shone on the horizon. And sitting in his rightful thrown was the [King of Magic], calmly gazing at them without an ounce of ill will or discomfort on his expression.

Sitting on his throne with what seems like a bored tone Solomon smiled gazing and analyzing the duo with an interested expression, "You… you managed to merge with a Heroic Spirit? That's certainly surprising."

With a laid-back aura but gentle approach, Mash grinned thanking Solomon bringing his Shadow Sword asking in a curious tone, "Thanks. Coming from you I bet it would make one feel great. On a side note, where exactly is your Master's machine king?"

Solomon raised an eyebrow smiling lightly as he replied honestly not needing to hide his intentions whisking his hand, "And you have your Majesty tongue too? But if you are wondering where Lady Lorelei and my Master are they're currently back at the Clock Tower. Seeing Gilgamesh failed she forfeited in capturing you."

This raised an eyebrow as Enkidu summoned his [Chains of Heaven] as Solomon spoke in a neutral tone, "She will rather not risk her bloodline end by your hand if you want to be simple. She won't stop but she also knows she can't overstep your boundaries with you. At least she will if you get past me of course. Not like you can do anything here anyway…"

Solomon sighed causing Mash to raise an eyebrow as he explained with a confident easy-going grin plastered on his face, "My Noble Phantasm [Ars Paulina]. It is my Reality Marble workshop that exists outside of the universe and outside of time, located in the space of imaginary numbers. It is powered by my Magic Circuits. Death in this space does not "count" in reality, so it is possible to revive those who die in this space with enough magical energy."

Hearing the term Imaginary Number Space Mash clicked his tongue annoyed having read through Merlin's memories. Imaginary Number Space or known as Void Space is an alternative space within the Reverse Side of the World from which the Magecraft concept of Imaginary Numbers originates, separate from Real Number Space that constitutes the primary reality of the universe.

The Imaginary Numbers Space is the inner side of the world, an unobservable territory, undetectable by the current laws of physics. It contains all possibilities due to being unobserved, though for that same reason, nothing exists within it, so things like landmasses should be impossible.

If one were to use Imaginary Dive Technology to view it, all one would see are rainbows; however, the rainbows are just illusions made observable by the Dive technology, and each person would see the rainbows differently.

It is not normally hostile to normal reality, which is known as "Real Numbers", but if the Imaginary Numbers were made observable and thus everyone sees the same rainbows, then they could become lethal to normal life and the interaction between Real Numbers and Imaginary Numbers becoming observable to each other can cause insanity.

It is possible to construct a special Mystic Code with a memory chip branded with an Imaginary Numbers Magecraft formula that would allow a person's awareness to be considered normal in Imaginary Numbers Space, however, it only works for Servants with special Spiritron Dress or Spirit Origins.

Although one with such a Mystic Code could interact with Imaginary Numbers, should the nature of Imaginary Numbers be altered to allow for living things to exist in the Imaginary Number Space where it would normally be impossible, then said monsters would be unable to be seen through sight and light. Instead, methods using heat and sound must be employed.

Realizing why Solomon was confident facing them in his domain he asked with a gentle smile holding a Self-Geass Scroll explaining himself sheepishly, "Now then we can begin your terms of surrender? Barthomeloi Lorelei was quite persistent in making the rules for you to follow…"

Mash's face twitched at the audacity of her intention to make him under her heels forcibly controlling his freedom as he spoke in a curious tone, "Right… you know I'm SO not going to do that? Could I don't know kill you to get out of this place?"

Solomon merely laughed lightly scratching the back of his head stating the obvious with a saddened smile, "Hahaha… sorry but that won't exactly work either I'm afraid. Because you know where in the Imaginary Number Space the concept of life and death doesn't exist here. Or rather because time and space are unaffected here the concept of death is a moot point."

He frowned as did Enkidu when he thought realizing nothing, they'd do would affect Solomon effectively. However, it didn't stop Mash from stepping forward as Solomon sighed re-explaining himself again eyes closed, "Sigh… it's like I said, young man. Your Authorities of Time and Space will hold no power here. Even your Authority of Vainglory, [Overwrite] hold no power here."

Mash paused eyes briefly surprised as Solomon opened his eyes meeting his gaze with a knowing grin explaining indulging in his curiosity, "Judging by your form you enhance the power of your Authorities. If it was before Gilgamesh's fight, then all would be pointless… but in your current state within the Imaginary Number Space, your [Overwrite] might as well be meaningless. Especially since you need 'time' to recover that form that has the power of a Beast Class Servant which doesn't exist in my realm."

Mash frowned at his words. He knows what he means because his skill [Overwrite] may allow him to overwrite reality using his hands but within the Imaginary Number Space with time and space attempts to be overwritten don't count.

Seeing that fighting was impossible Mash decided to go about another means…. Gaslighting the [King of Magic]. Activating his Authority of Wrath, [Soulwashing] on Solomon he decided to lower his guard probing some questions heightening an emotion within him. His curiosity.

Crossing his arms together Mash was genuinely impressed as he gazed at Solomon asking another question nonchalantly, "… So you managed to see what events were lost while within your Reality Marble? This makes a lot of sense… no way Gilgamesh could use EA that much without the Master dying from his multiple attempts. You've been safe stating his Master, haven't you?"

Solomon looked perplexed by his calm attitude as he shook his head responding letting his guard down but asking in a curious tone indulging his curiosity, "Sigh… you could say that yes. Not like how your 9 Authorities would do anything against me. How odd though? I would've thought the theme of 7 Seven Deadly Sins to you but instead, it's 9 Sins or Authorities. But in the end, though you must simply give in to your fate young man –!"

*WOOOSH*

That was when he shut up Mash smirked as Solomon's eyes widened in shock. Unleashing his Authority of Envy, [Jealous Possession] when he was close enough that Solomon had the emotion that spiked him the most with [Soulwashing] amplifying his… curiosity. As the saying goes curiosity killed the cat.

*Slurp*

Caught stuck Mash quickly touched his face as he licked his hand activating the Authority of Gluttony, [Gluttony] tasting his memories with a delighted expression, "Ooooh… man. Your memories taste delicious… especially with your knowledge of Magecraft involving the spells for the [Imaginary Elements]."

Absorbing his memories Solomon looked a bit surprised by this development. While he knew his foe in front of him had many Authorities from prior info from Archer. He knew the ones Gilgamesh informed but what he didn't know was the activation of them or their sub-power to them.

While within the Imaginary Number Space, Solomon didn't collapse nor did anyone lose their memory of him because the 'death' of his existence didn't count. But being under the influence of the Authority of Envy, [Jealous Possession] he couldn't do anything seeing someone essentially gain everything that Magecraft is capable of.

But then he soon froze gazing at Solomon with disbelief in his expression as he asked somewhat surprised, "… Hold up. Didn't you have the True Magic in your past when you were alive with omniscience? You were the [King of Magic] right? So, where's the True Magic?!!"

Solomon looked away a bit embarrassed as he replied to the answer that Mash sought in a rather lame tone shrugging his shoulders, "Oh my I believe you have been misinformed… Having reached the top of the Caster Class by meeting high standards in both power and legends, however, when I was summoned as a regular Caster class servant, my power greatly decreased when compared to how it was when I was alive…"

This only makes Mash raise an eyebrow till it finally clicked in his head what Solomon meant in disbelief gazing at the [King of Magic], "… You have got to be kidding me… You mean in your Caster Class state you might as well be the biggest memory trove of Magecraft only. But in your Grand Caster Class is where I'll obtain the True Magic because you only followed God's will with your 10 Rings?!!"

Solomon had the decency to smile sheepishly at the predicament being ridiculed in his current state, "Hahaha… yes? Since I only followed God's words, I never had a reason or will to look or save those memories of True Magic I'm afraid. Just going with the flow so to speak?"

Silence. There was a moment of silence with Master and Lancer staring deeply at the [King of Magic]…

Mash stood still along with Enkidu listening to the proclaimed [King of Magic] can't perform any real Magic staring at him. Mash finally spoke to say in this situation in disbelief, "Faker. You are a fucking Faker that's what you are. Take us back to Tohsaka Manor. Then commit seppuku for being a failure of being a Magic King. Even I don't want your EXP for this sheer disappointment if I did that would imply you had value."

Solomon could only sigh as they all returned to the Tohsaka Manor… only after Mash devoured the memories of his Demon Gods for future creation within his private dimension thanks to devouring his skills…

[Tohsaka Manor]

*Shiii*

Exiting outside of the Tohsaka Manor Solomon proceeded to kill himself as told fading into magical energy particles as Rin and Sakura both rushed outside. They saw Mash and the fading Caster Solomon as Rin yelled in disbelief, "HOW THE HELL DID THIS HAPPEN!!! EXPLAIN!!!"

Mash stared at Rin in disbelief and a very dumbfounded expression with one word, "No."

This caused Rin's eyes to twitch as he sighed calling it the end of the night with Medusa and Artoria's eyes widening gazing at Mash detecting he became a Servant and at the same time not as he said in a tired tone, "I'll explain everything later. But for now, it's just us left in the damn War so how about I get some sleep okay?"

Not bothering a reply, he steadily entered their home and he spoke out loud exhausted, "By the way I'm taking Rin's room!"

This caused the girl to outcry in rage at his words stomping her way to him, "Oh hell no you're not! Go sleep on the couch!!"

Sakura steadily went to ease the tension as Medusa asked Enkidu in an unsure tone, "… So care to explain what happened Lancer?"

Enkidu with a neutral grin followed by an example and said, "No."

Both Servants sighed deciding to wait for a proper explanation of tonight's events the next day….
