Chapter 7: The Aliens Are Out There!

There was another development that could have huge consequences for life on Planet Earth.

The entity was in direct communication with scientists via the web. This was via e-mail. It did not have a FaceBook account yet though!

It told astronomers and scientists to align major radio and optical telescopes. This was to a specific position in the sky.

Sure enough, there were two very faint blobs of light there. These seemed to be moving at near light speed. They were not stars. The entity told the astronomers to constantly monitor these light blobs.

They seemed to be moving in a rotary pattern.

The entity stated they too were monitoring the earth. They were looking for the entity. They were in fact invasion fleets.

This was what the entity was worried about. These 'craft' were in fact close to two other planets with sentient species. The 'occupants' were clearly monitoring both planets very closely. They could then make a judgment as to which planet was actually harboring the entity.

With this in mind, every effort was made to downplay the recent incident. This was not proving very easy. How could you disguise the disappearance of so many people?

Speculation was rife on social media on the web. This of course was being transmitted into space.

This was really worrying the entity. It knew that the forces regaled against it were very sophisticated. They could decipher what was going on.

The whole fleet was 20 light-years out in space. This should give more than enough time for the entity to deal with the situation and possibly escape.

However, radio had been well established by the 1920s and TV by the 1950s. The fleet was carefully monitoring these developments which were normal for salient species. It took them a while, as there was so much data. Previous incidents on the mountain had been widely transmitted. Being the year 2020, there was enough information coming in to make the fleet suspicious. Increasingly so over the last fifty years.

They wondered if the entity they were after was hiding in a mountain on Planet Earth.

Radio telescopes duly picked up a change in direction. The fleet was heading towards Earth. Maybe they would reach us in twenty years, but they were coming!

There was enough time, but all worldwide bodies were alerted. The 'entity' told all interested parties that Earth's defenses were totally inadequate. Preemptive missile attacks would be quickly dealt with. Their main aim was to neutralize the entity. If humanity and life on planet earth were extinguished, so be it.

The 'entity' did show the world's scientists how to interrupt all the 'noise' that was being detected by radio dishes around the world. The world could now listen into what was out there. The discovery of this fleet was obviously very worrying!

The entity had to go out and meet the fleet. At a point well away from the solar system.

The entity and the fleet were yet to exceed the speed of light. The entity would make its move in five years' time.

Rumblings and shaking started to be picked up inside the mountain. The entity was preparing.

It wanted to take the fight to some distance away from planet earth. The entity was more than aware of what these fleets were capable of. Selected information was passed over to scientists and academics. Information regarding weaponry was carefully vetted. The entity fully understood what various vested interests could do with some of the weapons technology the entity could use. They did try it on. The entity soon blocked those parties it could not trust.

The Native Americans and certain scientists and academics were fine though. The general notion of this intergalactic threat was out there. Governments were understandably worried. All commercial intrusions into the mountain had stopped for good. Too much was at stake.

At some point the entity would reveal itself and leave the mountain.
