The Magic was Used to Kill! What Amazing Power!

Even though the castle had suffered from the explosion, Lynn had mastered Starfire Fury. As long as he had contact with it, he could control it fluidly. Lynn had become a lethal magician. Compared to his current prowess, the damage to the castle was not worth mentioning.

"It just so happens that it is time to rebuild the castle," Lynn said.

"I want a bigger one," Lucy agreed. "This one is too small. If there are children…" her voice trailed off as she became shy and stopped talking.

"If you want to build a four story castle, you have to build a cellar," Lynn said with a smile.

"We may also buy some magic crystal lamps to make the rooms as bright as if the daylight lit them!" Lucy said with expectancy.

"I heard that the Sla family handled the lamp business. Although they cannot afford too much, they should have some at home."

"It will be ours in two days," Lucy smiled.

Lynn looked at the not so distant entrance of the village. In five days, the stone was actually mined. The rank five half beast warriors were even more reckless than the rest of the legion as they would smash rocks with their fists. The wheat had also grown ripe, so Lynn decided to harvest it once dawn approached. The entire field would be harvested within three days.

The first thing the Half Wolf Army would do was to deliver supplies and set up a forward base near Sla City. So, when winter arrived with its cold grasp Lynn would wage war against Sla. He and Lucy went back to the bedroom to sleep, as Lynn had been smart enough to move the blast of his magic towards the window. If he had not, the bedroom would have blown up.

The room was a little cold, while Lucy's bed was warm. Lynn decided to be lazy and decided not to heat the building, but instead hugged Lucy all night in order to gain warmth. Early the next morning, Lynn opened his eyes and got out of bed. Today's points totaled five hundred and ten since the points steadily increased as the territory developed. Yet, as the half beast army grew stronger the amount of points gained were not sufficient since it also took an increasing number of points to further evolve the soldiers.

On the other hand, while more points were consumed the power of the warriors also increased in equal proportion. The rank five soldiers possessed immense physical strength and had a great amount of stamina that never seemed to deplenish on the battlefield. They were a fierce foe on the warfront.

Right now Lynn had five half wolf soldiers who had evolved five times, and they were the core of the siege. They were going to act as catapults to launch boulders at the city walls. Lynn wanted to have about ten of them by the time the war started so that three hundred boulders would smash into the enemy city within a few minutes.

Lynn got up and washed himself off. He then dressed himself and left the castle, where he was greeted by the civilians who were also awake and waiting for him. They were so excited that they could not sleep at all from the anticipation of harvesting the wheat. The wheat had grown exceptionally well, and the yield would be enormous.

The system's estimate was off, as the output of the wheat should exceed 1,600 pounds per square mile of land. It was more than expected. Lynn saw that his residents were almost there and ordered them to start the harvest. They were excited to start their work as they would be able to keep seventy percent of the yield for themselves. This year, they would not have to look at their children and parents starve to death. Never again!

With their gratitude towards Lynn, the civilians worked hard. Bark suggested that they also help harvest Lynn's land as they did not want to waste anything. Of course, Lynn did not refuse the offer as his legion was too powerful for harvesting work. He had ten acres of land that was connected together. The area was so large that you could not see the other side just by looking.

Before this, Lynn had a headache wondering how to harvest all of the land, but with the civilians' help it would be the best course of action. He also would not let the residents work for free, even if they protested. They felt that the food was all the payment that they needed. The wheat could also be refined into noodles, not like the rough ones made of wheat bran. Since his citizens would do the work, Lynn did not have to worry about it and began to search the territory as usual. He looked towards a potion deep within the mountains, but after a while he began to practice magic.

Lynn did not know the purpose of practicing magic for other magicians as he only had one goal in mind. In his mind, magic was to kill people. Since he wanted to use magic for violence he had to practice with actual combat, so he hunted down some beasts for his training. If he was lucky, he would be able to find a good monster to spar against.

With the protection of his entourage, Lynn went up the mountain. It seems he had good luck as he found a first class Archfiend bird. Several of the attendants gathered the bird's attention while Lynn used Starfire Fury to attack it. The magic barely hit the monster. Lynn was not very skilled at controlling his magic, but by his second attempt at using the spell he was able to hit the bird in the midst of battle.

If Ramill learned about this, he would probably figure out a way to make Lynn join the Magic Academy. His talent was just too amazing! Casting the spell a second time, Lynn had become proficient and created a fireball in a matter of seconds. A few of the attendants floundered in embarrassment. One of them finally shouted at Lynn in a polite but loud manner.

"Master Lynn! It is already dead! There is no need to fight anymore, the first spell hit and killed it."

Lynn was surprised as the vitality of monsters was strong to an unpleasant degree and a first order magician had a limited lethality. Even with a more powerful fireball or lightning spell, it was difficult to kill a monster in a single blow. This just showed that Starfire Fury was a class above ordinary first order magic. Even with all of the flames condensed together, the ball of fire was larger than a regular Fireball spell. The amount one could kill with a single spell was also higher!

The Archfiend bird was so huge that it required two followers to grab one of its feet. The monster was at least seven or eight meters high, yet Lynn had killed it in one shot with Starfire Fury. Lynn had reached an unimaginable status of strength. If he faced a densely group enemy army, he would be able to wipe them out with his magic. It was a terrifying thought.
