Lost

Asher woke up in the hospital. He couldn't move his arms and legs. His body in extreme pain.

"You're awake" Dr Mike said. "We weren't sure how long you'd be out. Can you tell us who you are and who your parents are so we can get them here?"

Asher thought for a second then realized he was human again. 'They must know that I was a wolf, they want to capture my parent too' he thought. Asher decided to play safe and replied to the Dr. "I don't know who I am and I don't have parent".

"Everyone has parents, don't worry, we will help you remember. You must have amnesia from whomever hit you. You don't remember why you were naked on the side of the road?" the Dr asked."

"I don't know" Asher quickly replied.

"If the trucker hadn't hit that dog and stopped, the dog would've eaten you. The Trucker said he hit a wolf, but I think he smokes too much if you get my drift."

A nurse walked in she whispered into the drs ear and walked back out.

"Well the police are here, they'll want to talk to you, along with a photographer to get a picture so they can start looking for your parents. First child protective services has sent someone to talk to you, she'll be here in a moment. I'll be looking in on you periodically. You'll be okay!"

with that Dr Mike walked out of the room.

"Can you close the door?" Asher shouted behind. Dr Mike looked, smiled, winked and shut the door.

As Asher lay alone listening to the Dr and CPS talk outside his room his wounds began to heal, rapidly. Within five minutes he didn't even have scars. Sitting up he pulled the IV out and turned off all of the equipment. Asher opened the window and climbed out. he was only 3 stories up and thought he'd jump to a tree to climb down. Asher jumped and transformed before he hit the ground. Leaving his hospital gown stuck in the tree above him. The Landing stung but he soon ran off. Running passed the hospital sign something stuck out to him. The sign said Nebraska General Hospital.
