Dressed

Getting dressed is a lot harder this time because of this person in front of me, covering his face with his hands, while facing the wall, almost as though I am the one forcing him to stay in the room with me. 

We are in a room that High Priest Freyr likes to describe as the 'Dressing Room'. We cannot wear our shoes in here as the entire floors are lined with wooden mats, carefully processed and then woven together. 

I love the handiwork but I am more scared of it than I am impressed with it. Because of how intricate everything is, I am very careful to make sure I step as lightly as possible. Not only are they very hard to make, but they are also extremely expensive. 

Our temple gets everything from the donations of people, there is nothing that they make the people pay for, not the food, not the lodging. So, these mats were given by the previous king when his first son was born and this temple is the one that christened him his name.
