The Beastly Fight

Dáinn and Keanu had relinquished control to their wolves, Lykouros and Zev. The wolves were now fully in control of their masters. Zev approached the guards at the gate from behind, as it was easier to sneak up on them that way.

"Why does it feel so dark in here?" Dáinn spoke through the mind link, reaching Keanu alone.

"And here I thought I was the only one who felt that way," Keanu replied, making Zev look at the elders' way.

Zev finally attacked the two guards standing fully armed at the gates, cutting off one's right shoulder and blinding the other. The blood gushed out from their wounds, turning the ground crimson.

Lykouros not being able to see his mate in pain, could barely control its anger. He attacked mindless every guard that approached him. Some lost their arms while others bled through their mouths or noses. The cell now looked like a battlefield with blood splashed all across its floor.
