REVENGE (Part 2)

*Disclaimer adviced*

What do you want with us?! We haven't wronged you!" one of the mothers screamed at me, he eyes filled with hatred and fear. Something told me that she didn't hate me because of what I have just done here, but because she saw what race I was.

Even with her life in my arms she still talks like that! OK, I'm starting to see where the elf kids got their character.

"Don't worry, madam. It's not me whom you've wronged. I'm just helping out a certain friend of mine with an issue,"

"What friend, you worthless monster?! And how dare your kind talk to us like that?! I'd like to speak to the elf next to you!" the other mother shouted at me. Ah, yes. Now I understand how well these two get on well together.

Pine walked forward at the two mothers and with no hesitation slapped them both with such force, that they immediately began bleeding from their noses. Then he grabbed one of them by the chin and stared coldly into her eyes.

"Remember me, MRS FURRDAY?"

"D-don't put you filthy hands on my–"

Pine smacked her again, this time with his free hand, making both the elf's cheeks red and puffy.

"Answer my question. DO YOU?!"

"Mnnoo, aw down't!" she answered gruffly due to the swelling, tears falling from her eyes due to the pain. I bet no one has ever landed those many hits on her perfect face, must be a first for her.

"Let me jog your memory. Remember the first furrha you brought to this house? Better yet, remember how you turned a deaf ear to my cries when that son of yours–" he pointed and the legless elf, "–r*ped me over and over repeatedly with no concern about my health?! Remember that?!" he screamed in anger and punched the woman before she could even answer.

Her head recoiled backwards due to the force and Pine pulled the elf back up, his fist raised up again for another strike.

"P–p–pine?" she mumbled.

The other elf's eyes widened in surprise, and the entire family soon followed suit. It was the first elf we saw in the household a while back who spoke first.

"It can't really be you, can it? I thought you were dead in the forest after you escaped. I'm glad that you are–"

"Can it, Mia! Don't act like you are glad to see me. You were the one encouraging your brother to do so. Somehow you keep on forgetting, I have good hearing!" Pine raged at the elf, who quietened down immediately.

The non-injured mother immediately went on the defensive, "Why you ungrateful little sh*t! After all we did for you; bring you up, provide you with a roof under you head, even going as far as giving you food! It was all you could do to return the services! The way I see it, he didn't do enough for you to attack us like this!"

Frowns appeared on my entire group when the elf shouted her concerns. I heard growling, and looked at my wolves ready to stop them, but then realized it wasn't coming from them. All young furrhas present in the vicinity including Pine had their teeth out.

She really shouldn't have said those words in front of the monsters they have tortured all their lives.

Pine dropped the first mother, then menacingly walked to the second. Her eyes widened in fear and it looked like she peed her pants judging by the smell coming from her, no doubt because of the killing intent Pine was emitting. But before he could approach her, someone else spoke up from the angry Furrhas.

"I want her all to myself, Pine," the eldest girl, who I later came to learn was called Dally, said.

Pine paused in his steps, and turned to her. He realized that he wasn't the only one who was triggered by those words.

"Max, I have a request. Can you leave this family to us and go for the fathers?" Pine asked as he turned to me.

The entire family of elves looked like they had something to say, but the growls from my wolves immediately shut them up. I nodded my head in agreement.

"I understand. What about you guys?" I asked the elite team.

Earl crunched up his fingers and pointed to the elf he brought in earlier, "I've still got business with that guy, and the young girl here, Dally was it, seems like she wants this to be a joint 'family thing', isn't that right?"

Dally stood up with eyes filled with hatred as she stared at both the mother and son, "I'd like that very much,"

Queen tapped my shoulders and nodded to the two she brought in.

"Leave those two to me. Alvin, care to join?"

"With pleasure," he smiled as he lifted the two furrhas who were pierced their ears from the ground and brought them up to their feet. The earrings were already removed before I healed them, and with their tensed up body, I could tell it was taking every ounce of their power to stop from pouncing on the twin elves, who looked fearful at them.

"I think these two want a crack at them, don't you?" Alvin asked them.

"YES!" they both chorused.

"Wolves?" I asked.

(I'll be taking that girl I brought in with me. She will have to suffer for what she did to that little boy!) Murasaki growled through thought transmission.

Red joined in, (At least yours wasn't torturing the boy and enjoying it! I swear when I lay my hands on him again–)

"OK, I get it! They are all yours,"

Someone tugged at my shirt. I looked down and saw the first furrha we spotted with the group earlier. Seems like she has some energy in her, judging by the fire in her eyes.

"Um... Mr? Can I have that elf that calls herself Mia? And some of your wolves too," she asked.

"Aww! But of course. Ah... Who would like–"

Two wolves appeared in front of me and bowed down to the girl. Huh, they must have taken a liking to her.

"OK, then. Pine, I'm leaving you to oversee everything. I've got me some elves to catch,"

Pine came up to me and stretched his arm out.

"What is this?"

He looked at me confused but then his eyes lit up. He immediately jumped and hugged me tightly.

"Thanks for this," he whispered, something only my ears could pick up.

"No porb, Pine. Though I would have taken the hand shake, it's just that I wondered how far you could go,"

"You just had to ruin the moment,"

I waved at them as I left for my journey, hearing the screams of fear from the elves as they were dragged back to their house hold, no doubt the last time they will ever see the light of day. Serves them right. Now the hard part is left to me.

[I wonder if I've gone too far with this]

<Already down deep, my dude. Even if you wanted to, can't go back now, can you?>

[I mean, I already know that. But you know, the Furrhas are still young, and quite frankly this might be introducing them to a new form of satisfaction, torturing their masters. Imagine if one of them actually enjoys this and would wish for more. Then what?]

<You are reading too much into this. From what I can tell, they just want to exert their revenge against those elves, nothing more. And besides, I'm sure you also killed around that age which begs the question, who was your first kill? Or race it?>

[Yeah, no. We're not doing this. How you knew that I've killed even below that age of Pine, I have no idea. But I'm sure as hell ain't going to tell you my first kill]

<What? Was it someone you knew? A friend perhaps? Girlfriend?>

[Drop the subject]

<Hmph! Well, you're no fun. Anyways, I feel like you should know, someone is tracking>

[Oh?]

I used the master map to search my surroundings, and was shocked to see a blue dot just around near me. But wait, how come I still can't sense the person approaching using my senses? Something tells me that whoever is out there isn't out for my head. Huh, I wonder....

"Mrs Kelly?" I asked around the quiet forest.

There was a little pause before a voice from behind me answered, "I didn't expect you to discover me that quick. Not even Zard can know where I am unless I allow him to. Somehow you keep on surprising me more and more, Max,"

I turned to the principal of Mars and flashed a nervous smile. I think I'm in a lot of trouble, judging by the forced smile on her face.

"Um... s–so, I'm sorry–"

She raised her hand to stop me from talking.

"No need to apologize if already you all have completed the task I gave you all, and just as I had requested too, with your partners," she said.

"When did you–"

"A little over one hour when you met up with the other two of the elites. I'm not that stupid not to keep track of the lot of you. And when I scanned the area and realized there was a fifth, I decided to watch how all this played out. Didn't expect you to be that merciless, kid,"

"Yet you didn't stop us which is quite surprising, seeing as I guessed you wouldn't approve. But don't blame the team, I take full responsibility for what happened or is about to happen there. Just please don't go and stop them, I think they need this,"

Mrs Kelly stared questionably at me. "They need what exactly? Blood on their hands? New methods to kill victims, is that it?"

I stared down at the ground.

"...sorry,"

It took a while before Mrs Kelly signed in exasperation.

"You all are a hand full. But I have to admit, those elves do deserve what's coming to them. Did you really think I would stop someone, no matter a stranger, from attaining the much needed revenge for his dignity?"

"You heard everything?"

"I know a lot more that you think, Max. Just like those scars you keep hiding from us all,"

I touched my arms defensively. Mrs Kelly just shook her head in disappointment. But then a smile tugged on her face.

"You know, I don't have to report this if this place never existed in the first place. I could always say that those wolves of yours were the main attackers here, but of course we'll have to clear all the evidence that is around, what say you, Max?"

"You're going to help me deal with the task I was handed?"

"Can't let you walk off all on your own can I? Still have beasts around even though I took care of most of them,"

"No wonder there were still no beasts that came around even after blasting the barrier. It was you who saved our behinds!"

"Guilty as charged. Now come, I feel like I've already discovered the whereabouts of the two male elves from the household,"

"Huh, so the principal of Mars does have a dark side to her,"

"You still want my help, quit the yapping!"

"Yeah, OK,"

True to her words, she did discover the two targets of ours. We positioned ourselves a top a certain tree to observe their activities. It only took one glance on them, and I immediately had to force what I had for breakfast to stay down.

The two elves were with a grade B monster, one of the weakest I've seen so far, but that was because it was only young. It was a red haired bear, though to be honest, I'm not so sure that was the color of its fur or its blood due to the torture it was undergoing.

It was hanged upside down, its face bitten and slashed till a pool of blood could be observed below it. What made the scene so horrid was that the two father elves were skinning it, ALIVE! I know for a fact that it was still alive, just passed out cold probably due to the pain.

The gleeful expressions on the evil elves faces and the way they handled the knife told me that this wasn't their first time doing this. I guess the apples don't fall far from the trees, if the trees were two psychotic elves of course.

"I think I'm going to be sick," I said while holding up another hurl.

Mrs Kelly was quiet, but from such a close distance from her, I could feel the sudden change of temperature to a powerful heat.

"Max, stay behind me. I have to do this myself," she whispered to me, barely holding the anger in her voice.

"But I can hel–"

She looked at me with such ferocity, I instinctively backed away.

"I–I'll stay put,"

"Good,"

She jumped down from the tree then steadily walked towards the two elves. I held my chest to try and lessen my beating heart once Mrs Kelly was far enough.

My gods! I thought I was going to die! I've never seen her that angry since, well... ever. I wouldn't want to be at the receiving end of that anger, that, I'm sure off. The two fathers are about to suffer a much worse fates that the beast they are torturing.
