Chapter Fourteen

It was a lot to bear when she knew she could not avoid him anymore. She knew he wasn't was doing okay driving, she looked to her left and saw his eyes. It looked like he wasn't here. 

 She turned back to her window. The whole scene outside the car was beautiful, the road felt isolated, in the last 30min, she had only seen 2 cars drive past them. Elias was so focused on the drive that he didn't even look at her side once other than to tell her they were almost at the hotel. 

 "Do you want to turn on the radio?" he asked her but didn't look to her side at all and that was causing her discomfort. She was already used to him being nice. Maybe he wanted her to go ahead with all that he was doing, she couldn't believe that she was actually thinking of this to be real.

 "No, thank you" she replied and looked back to the mirror. "Has he tried contacting you?" she suddenly heard him say and that made her anxious. She had not expected him to make mention of Yuu. Now she didn't know whether to tell him the truth. 

 "Yeah, he did" he then turned to her but his eyes didn't leave the road. Why did he care, the question kept bugging her. She wondered if he genuinely cared or if he just didn't want the marriage to be ruined. Recently everything has just been making her overthink.

 He might as well start a conversation with her, the car was getting really boring. The air felt congested and they've been driving for the past 3 hours. It was still about 5 more hours till they got to the hotel. "Do you think he is worried about you?" He wanted to converse with her even though he has been nothing but cold to her.

 "I really don't know" she was trying her possible best to avoid the conversation. She didn't want to discuss about Yuu to anyone and especially not him. She began to fiddle with her jacket wishing she had brought her phone.

 "Do you wanna talk about it?" he asked her and looked towards her. "Not really" he noticed she was hesitant and he didn't want her to be uncomfortable, he decided to drop the topic.

 They finally arrived at the hotel at night. Nima was already asleep, she looked really pretty. He didn't want to want to wake her up. He left the car to go and check if they had gotten their room ready for the stay.

 Nima noticed he was no longer in the car with her. She sat up and adjusted herself. She looked out of the window, she was mesmerized at the sight of the hotel. "wow" All though it was late but the bright light that was placed on the exterior of the hotel made it look like it was evening, she thought.

  "Like what you see" She knew that voice and she was still pissed at him. She didn't reply him. She opened the car door and stepped out of the car. She didn't want to talk to him and only prays they are not sharing. 

 "We are actually staying in the same room " He stated and walked away. She was startled, how did he hear her thought. She walked faster trying to meet his steps.

  The inside was even more beautiful than the outside. "Our suites is being prepared so we ight as well look around" he enjoyed how she was looking. She looked like a child. "Oh okay" she said to him, he could tell she was still pissed at him. 

 They moved around. The place looked like heaven on earth, she thought. The place was looking so nice, the walls were plastered with gold. It was not even crowded as a matter of fact.

 "Do you like it?" Elias asked, he knew she liked it but he did not like how she was being cold towards him. "hmmmm" she nodded her head. He needs to address this whole issue. They needed to be all loved up but she was acting bitchy. They don't know who is watching.

 "We need to talk" he stated and walked out. He was now pissed at this point. The tension was thick. She keeps forgetting that their relationship is different. She was a worker and he was her boss. She needs him as of this point but her ego will end up putting her in trouble.
