Chapter 8

Edward was taking a walk through a patch of tall grass. He looked behind him and saw a dark cloud behind him. He ran away thinking it was going to attack him. That was it struck a cold dark tendril wrapped around his ankle. He fell squeeling as he was dragged through the long grass. He squirmed but was grabbed by another tendril. He tried to slap a third away but was finally consumed by the mass of tendrils. A white light appeared the creature forced him to look at it. He fell limp the creature then opened a hole in itself and consumed him.
