21 Chapter 21

We left him, Shiro, now being surrounded by a horde while the rests are following us. He continued screaming while trying to defend himself, he even surprisingly managed to kill one, but that's it.

"Arrrgh!" He shrieked, hearing bites and even tearing his body apart.

While we left him there at his death, we positioned ourselves by protecting those girls that aren't good at combat.

"How about us?" One of the male students with us asked he has gray hair and brown eyes.

"Just protect the innercircle, because you might slow us down if you will help." Saeko answered his questions without looking at him. She is just standing beside me as we led the group.

"W-what?" A boy with an average height and spiky hair reacted. He is holding a baseball bat. This guy looks like a delinquent.

"She is right, Takashi. We will just hold them down." The girl named Rei said with a sigh, and I was right, there is a love triangle going on here, but I apologize that I have to let her fall for me. She's a maiden, and if you guys are slow to win this girl at least, well, I will beat you in that.

"Let me carry you." Kyoko said while little Alice nodded her head, its fine for me, this woman can be trusted. Just how she reacted when she heard what the Shiro guy did already prove it. Before Alice is at her embrace, Alice called me and asked permission, and I agreed.

"I think there are more of them than before." Saeko spoke while looking at the zombies a few meters away from us that is blocking our way.

"But it seems like you are happy about it." I answered while glancing at her.

"Not just me though." She replied while showing a tiny smile. She's right. I'm happy right now. I managed to encounter a lot of maidens, and few of them are interesting at that. Maybe all of them, but I didn't speak to them yet as we are occupied right now.

"Lets dance?"

"Lead the way."

We immediately advanced, and I just noticed that every zombie she killed, it will also include some points to mine. It's like a party system in RPG games, but only me is receiving the rewards.

One zombie after another in our way turned into points while the gels are automatically transferred to my inventory with the help of the auto-loot function.

"They are in sync." One of the girls said while looking at us with admiration. Fighting beside Saeko feels like we have been working together and know each other for a long time.

"Behind you." I said to Saeko quickly as she lowered her head while my weapon chopped the zombie that was about to grab her from behind. She may be a good fighter, but fighting against this many seems a bit too much more her. "Thanks for that..." She smiled at me and struck another one.

Meanwhile, at the back, Ye Lian doesn't want to be overshadowed by her as she is massacred the zombies that are following us. At the same time, Wang Lin did kill the others that are not in a group. She knows how to fight but only three to four at the same time.

"We really might have a chance to survive." Shizuka beside Kyoko, said while looking at us, but her gaze is always watching me. Though, I dont mind being admired by a woman.

"Yes, because Onii-chan is strong! He saved me, Onii-chan is also very caring to us." Alice frantically answered her. Making Shizuka smile as she placed a hand on little Alice's head. Then, her gaze settled at me again.

As we managed to clean the way, I checked at the group behind us. It seems like they also know how to fight, the guys at least. But not as capable as Wang Lin.

"Whats that?" A girl said as she kneeled while looking at the Gel scattered beside the bodies around us.

She is a teenage girl of under-average height with long pink hair, which she keeps in two ponytails on either side of her head. Her hair also has two thin, long bangs at the sides, two thin strands of hair over the left side of her forehead, and a spiky larger portion of hair covering the right side of her forehead.

A maiden as well, and it seems like that fat dude that is following behind her appears to like her. He kept talking to her, but the girl did not even glance at her. This group is really interesting.

"Oh? Dont mind that." I said, and barehandedly grabbed the Gel. They just killed it; that's why it didn't go to my inventory right away. I pretended to put it in my pocket.

"It seems like its part of their body. From their brain atleast because its close to that area." She said while looking at me, waiting for an answer. Just by how she is looking at me, she is an intelligent and cautious type of girl. Maybe that's the reason why she is quiet at the start. She observes us if we can be trusted, but when she sees me and Saeko fight together, she must have found a result.
