An Unexpected Visitor

Thea’s POV

Hudson and I stand before the emerald-green door of Ms. Victoria's house. There sense of anticipation and trepidation in the air. Hudson raises his hand, and the sharp sound of his knuckles against the door resonates in the quiet surroundings as he strikes the door three times. 

“Do you think she will be willing to help us?” I ask, slightly nervous.

“I have known Ms. Victoria my entire life. She is the type of person that always stands for what is right, even if it is an unpopular opinion,” Hudson says.

To our surprise, the door swings open, revealing not Ms. Victoria but the Alpha himself. A shiver runs down my spine as his piercing gaze locks onto us. The shock and fear are palpable, and I find myself instinctively backing away.

Hudson, however, stands his ground, a steely resolve in his eyes. "Garrison," he addresses the Alpha by his real name, a name rarely spoken openly.
