Chapter 3

Naruto sat in his office, staring at the pile of paperwork in front of him. He had barely slept since the incident with Sasuke, his mind racing with questions and doubts. The truth about the Uchiha clan and their failed coup was still haunting him, and he couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to the story.

He was lost in thought when there was a knock on his door. Naruto looked up to see Shikamaru standing in the doorway, a grim expression on his face.

"Naruto, we need to talk," Shikamaru said, stepping into the room.

Naruto nodded, motioning for Shikamaru to take a seat. "What's going on?"

Shikamaru hesitated for a moment before speaking. "We've received intelligence that there may be a group of rogue Uchiha survivors still out there, plotting against the village."

Naruto's eyes widened. "What? How is that possible?"

Shikamaru shrugged. "It's just a rumor for now, but we're taking it seriously. We're increasing security around the village, and I've assembled a team to investigate."

Naruto sighed, rubbing his temples. "Great, just what we need. More problems."

Shikamaru leaned forward, his expression serious. "Naruto, I know you're still struggling with what happened with Sasuke. But you can't let it consume you. You have a responsibility to this village, to protect it from any and all threats."

Naruto looked up at Shikamaru, his eyes hardening. "I know that, Shikamaru. I won't let my personal feelings get in the way of my duty."

Shikamaru nodded, satisfied with Naruto's response. "Good. We'll keep you updated on the investigation. In the meantime, try to get some rest. You look like you haven't slept in days."

Naruto chuckled weakly. "You're not wrong. Thanks, Shikamaru."

As Shikamaru left the room, Naruto leaned back in his chair, his mind racing. He couldn't help but wonder what other secrets the Uchiha clan was hiding. And he couldn't shake the feeling that there was still more to the story, something that even Sasuke hadn't known.

Naruto knew that he couldn't let his personal feelings get in the way of his duty as Hokage. He had to protect the village at all costs, even if it meant facing the truth about the Uchiha clan head-on. He just hoped that he was strong enough to handle it
