A Stronger One

After dropping the bags in the car's trunk, Greg waved back to the lady. His eyes wandered around the area, as if on guard about something. And when he entered inside the car, he breathed out something that sounded as a sigh of relief.

"It's fun time," he cheered then started the car. He all but sped out of the area, Lucy was afraid they were going to make a collision.

But he slowed down the car when they reached downtown. He even turned the music on again by setting it on low volume.

His usual self returned and he started chatting and throwing witty remarks. Lucy could only smile or giggle to his funny words. Because her mind was far again. Her mind was some else, filled with something else. Her mind was only occupied with the idea that she had to see her parents. That made her happy. But Cedric would be there. Which made her anxious at thesame time.
