My Life, Her Body: Her fiancé now is my husband
"Always with the books, she is not even a topper. What else does she get from those books?" A boy murmured.
This was the usual, her books and her dad were her everything. She never cared what others think of her as long as her dad loved her, why?
Because he was the only one she had, all her life.
But was everything a lie? Was the hope she had all her life, a lie?
Was she really the reason for her own misery? Her dad’s? Was she really the reason her mom left her and her dad?
No, right? Her dad never blamed her.
“Only… if you were never born, she-”
“Dad… you don’t mean that, right?” Shylin says, tears streaming down her eyes as she felt thousands of stabs against her poor crying heart, “she wouldn’t have left me…” Her dad adds, lying on the floor, crying his heart out, drunkenly hazed.
And that was all for her, her will to live fades away, and so does she.
“Evelyn! Why would you try to kill yourself for this scandal?!” An elderly lady shouts, Shylin blinks her eyes, looking around as she finds herself in a hospital room, “Why did you save me?” She cries out, panicking.
“Evelyn! We can overcome this, don’t kill yourself just because of this!”
“Evelyn? Who is she?” Shylin questions, because they were calling her another name, but the look she received with her question, startled her.
What she couldn’t understand was her waking up in a different body, she had no intention of living, then why?
“You have no choice, Evelyn but you got to marry him.” The man who claims himself to be her dad says, but she missed her own dad, someone she can not meet, “Why?”
“Because you shamed the family!” The man screams in rage.
“You cannot marry that man! I am your boyfriend, Evelyn!” The boy shouts, shaking her.
Why was she in this mess when this wasn’t even her life? Marrying a stranger when she had a boyfriend who is just as stranger as her to-be husband was, will she be able to handle this new life or just mess it up?
Will she be able to be happy?
