Conflict with the Nobility

The two light beams flashed down on the ground right in front of me and the others. In them, I could see the two silhouettes of a man who was even more buff then Zero and a man who was more slender but still had those pecs and muscles. They were naturally the Axeman and the Archer.

"Wait, are you the otherworlder?" Alice asked me with her mouth wide open. "Yes, I am," I answered casually as I ordered my soldiers to loot the bodies for anything valuable. Alice was shocked; how could someone act so casually when his mystery was revealed by himself? Before Alice could say anything else, I asked her about where Royce was. She didn't know where he was, but I had a pretty good idea.

"Princess, stay behind me! I will protect you from the devil himself if I have too. Royce said with passion in his voice. You would think that he was a chivalrous knight if no one would have seen him run away from the battle when Zero threw a spear through the hellhounds skull.

"I am fine, Royce. Thank you." An ethereal voice spoke which was filled with a peace like nothing in the world could disturb her. Royce turned around and gulped when he saw the Princess. She had silky white hair, and her hair was placed in a ponytail. She looked at Royce with a completely blank look as if there were no emotions in her eyes. Royce liked her a lot and thought that by joining her in her mission to find the otherworlder, he could become closer to her, but she still treated him coldly since the start. "Maybe I should be more direct about my feelings with her." Royce thought and decided to do just that. "Princess Alexandra, I have to tell you something." Royce had a severe look on his face. "Yes, Royce?" Princess Alexandra answered back, still nonchalantly as always.

"Princess, I have always lik--" then Royce and the Princess heard a bang on the door. "Hey, Princess! You alright in there? Royce come out and help carry the bodies!" "Fucking Syntax," Royce said under his breath.

"Huh, didn't he hear me?" I asked Zero, "Leader! I recommend that you shout louder!" Zero said like it was the smartest solution. "Good idea, Zero" I nodded. "ROYCE COME OUT AND HELP WITH THE BODIES!" I shouted at the top of my lungs, while everyone looked at me with shock in their eyes. And suddenly the door opened right in front of my face with angry teenagers face in it. "What do you want?" Royce said, gnashing his teeth.

"I want you to get the fuck out of there and help the rest of us bury the dead and treat the wounded," I said with a harsher voice this time. "You know damn well that I am of noble blood and should stay here and protect the Princess," Royce said as he started to close the door. "Hold it right there, Royce," I said as Zero kept the door open with one of his arms. "I said that you would help us, whether you will come out here of your own free will or Zero here will drag you out of that fucking carriage," I said. "You dare?" Royce said, angry this time. "I don't take orders from mere mercenaries." As soon as he said it, he started to try to close the door forcefully but to no avail as Zero had the strength which Royce could just dream about.

"Alright, you choose the hard way." I nodded. "Zero get that spoiled kid out of the carriage. I ordered Zero. "Yes, Leader!" Zero said with a smile as he quickly reached for Royce, "Don't you dare!" Royce said as he was about to pull out his new iron sword, but it has too late. Royce couldn't react to the speed of Zero, and before he knew it, his neck was grabbed by a hand from Zero.

Just as I was about to order Zero to drag Royce back to the battlefield, I heard a girl's voice coming from the carriage.

"Your name is Syntax, right?" said the voice, "That is right." I nodded, "May I ask you, your name?" I replied. "My name is Alexandra, but I am known The Holy Princess Alexandra." Princess Alexandra said, she probably thought that revealing her full title, I would release Royce.

"Nice to meet you, Holy Princess Alexandra. Alright, Zero drag our guest out." Zero replied with a nod and started to drag Royce out of the carriage.

The Princess was shocked; no one has ever ignored her like that. For most of the populace, it was their highest honour to talk with the Princess but this guy just blatantly ignored her!

"Sir, I implore you to release Noble Royce, his family isn't something that you would like to go against with your weak forces." Princess Alexandra said with a sincere tone in her voice.

I replied in my most gentle manner, "Please, Princess. Shut the fuck up and let me do my job. Zero, drag him out already." Royce started squirming when he realized that I didn't even care about the Princess, but there was nothing he could do as we dragged him towards the site of the battle and gave him a shovel while ordering Axeman to guard him and make sure that he did his job. Royce thought about protesting but changed his mind when he saw the Axeman looking menacingly at him with his huge muscles, and the largest stone axe Royce has seen. You could hear the cries and heavy breathing from Royce the whole night as he worked overtime to finish his job.

While this was happening, the Princess was shocked! No one has ever talked to her this way, this was similar to treason and Syntax would have been sentenced to death! Just as Syntax left with Zero And Royce, Alice came running. "Princess!" Alice exclaimed as she bowed towards the Princess. "What is it, Alice?" Princess said with her voice returning to the neutral tone she always had. "We found the otherworlder!" Alice said in a silent voice this time so that no one could hear. Alexandra, shocked by the news, asked her who it was and if we could arrange the meeting but the answer surprised the Princess. "Syntax is the otherworlder?" Princess exclaimed, his name was weird, but plenty of people had strange names.

"How do you know this, Alice?" Princess asked. "Syntax created two warriors after the battle and the supplies which we use every day is made by him too, we would have to abort the mission after the Hellhound attack if it wasn't for him," Alice explained.

The Princess was silent this time and looked out the window where Syntax was spawning herbal medication to help every wounded out. At the same time, she could also see Royce, who has already full of dirt and grass on his noble and expensive clothes digging graves for the victims.

"This will be interesting." Princess thought. "Alice, We will be going back to the capital tomorrow, our mission is done here." "Yes, your highness." Alice bowed and left the carriage.

"Creating soldiers and supplies, huh?" Princess thought, he will be useful for the kingdom. I am sure that he will be more humble when he sees the might of our kingdom." Princess said with a smile as she took a sip of her expensive wine.

"Can't wait for how he will deal with the Royces noble family. While he can spawn troops, there are only five of them."
