Chapter 8: Magic School Academy

Just then she heard a voice full of guilt,

"You woke up, I am sorry yesterday I overdid it."

Ren Aiguo was sitting near the window giving a guilty smile to her.

Gu Jin said in an emotionless tone, "It's alright after I become a strong mage I will thrash you too."

Ren Aiguo was stunned before laughing aloud.

She is truly an interesting girl.

Ren Aiguo withdrew his smile and said seriously, "Sure we will see."

Gu Jin turned her head toward the passing surrounding.

This magic world was not much different from life on earth.

Except for the trees and animals.

She was curiously watching her surrounding.

The tree here is more colorful. Some are with purple and pink leaves while others have red and brown leaves. Few trees were of the color green.

Just then she heard Ren Aiguo saying, "We are leaving for Magic School Academy."

Hearing a new word Gu Jin turned her attention toward Ren Aiguo.

She has no grudge for dead meat after all.

Yes in her eyes she will beat the crap out of Ren Aiguo even though it is not possible today but it will someday.

Ren Aiguo who was unaware of Gu Jin's thought process was pleased with himself.

He continued, " Magic School Academy has many geniuses who have awakened mana at a young age just like you. There are 3 Grades such as Grade 1, Grade 2, and Grade 3 which are 1 year, 2 years, and 3 years long."

"Those whose Mana is at red will have to attend Grade 1 Class C classes to improve their Mana, while those whose Mana is at orange will have to attend Grade 1 Class B similarly for yellow Mana Grade 1 Class A is there."

"Since you have yellowish-green Mana you will be counted as Green Mana Awakener. You have to directly attend Grade 2 Class A. Class A because you are a natural awakener of Green Mana. But don't be too full of yourself, there are many who were able to awaken Green Mana but they were only a few who were able to become a Super-level Mage"

"In Grade 2 you will have lessons on how to meditate, and summon your mana to awaken the elements. Awakening after every two levels. For example, when a Mage awakens an element at Primary-level, he will get a chance to awaken his second element at Advanced-level only."

Gu Jin nodded but was still curious.

She asked, "Isn't there anyone who has awakened elements at all levels ?"

Ren Aiguo smiled and said, "There is"

Gu Jin asked, "Who?"

Ren Aiguo said, "Ma Bence"

"Ma Bence is someone who is like the brightest moon. Many girls chase after him but he just ignores them all. In fact, the orphanage where you live is owned by his family. Ma Family is the richest clan in the whole country."

"However Ma Bence has lived his way out on his own. Ma Family's Elder has no control over him since he left the clan at the tender age of 10. He was declared a waste when he was 10 but the very next year he awakened a very unique Mana and was immediately admitted to Magic School Academy. Without the help of his family, he fought for resources and increased his cultivation"

Gu Jin suddenly asked, "What unique Mana?"

Ren Aiguo said, "I don't know."

Gu Jin turned silent.

Looks like if she wants the answer to her question, she has to approach Ma Bence.

She asked Ren Aiguo, "Where can I meet him?"

Ren Aiguo sneered, "One more fool in love."

Gu Jin didn't understand but when she did her face darkened.

She ignored him and asked, "Where is he now?"

Ren Aiguo said after some thought, "In Beijing, Euphoria Magic University. Euphoria Magic University is the number 1 university in China."

Then as if taunting her, he said, " It is said that only Indigo Mana Awakeners are admitted but that is too when they have reached Advanced-level."

Gu Jin understood.

She has to wait for quite a lot of time to meet this Ma Bence

Ren Aiguo continued, "In fact, you should worry about resources instead of Ma Bence."

Gu Jin was again confused.

'What resources?'

As if he understood her question Ren Aiguo replied, "Every Mage requires resources to increase their cultivation. Just take the place you cultivate, the students who come to Magic School Academy usually belong to Renowned Clans. The Renowned Clans have places that can increase the speed of one's cultivation. Those students of Renowned Clans are the only ones who are able to reach to Advance-level within 20 years of their age."
