CHAPTER ₁

"Ma'am it's time for you to wake up, I've brought breakfast. And I know you need your coffee in order to get up-" BANG! The maid falls to the floor losing her consciousness. Wynter jolts out of bed and onto the floor to see her unconscious maid with a bullet in her chest. She wails in discomfort, "No no no no not now." PEW PEW! Two more bullets fly through the front window shattering it.

Wynter, who is stunned, does a backflip onto her bed barely dodging the bullets. She finally regains focus and makes a run for her closet. She reaches her closet, turns the corner, and moves her clothes to stand before her secret door.

"Password, please." Wynter, obviously annoyed, whispered the password quickly. "Correct, you may enter ". the door swung open, Wynter hurried in. The elevator only had an up or down button. Wynter pressed down and fell to the floor and started crying sorrowful tears. THUD. the elevator had reached "down", Wynter had stood up quickly and wiped her tears.

DING. The elevator doors swung open and Wynter started to walk into Mermaidens headquarters.

Guards around the entrance guns in hand looked Wynter up and down. She went to change and head up to Master Sergei's office. "Good morning Master, this morning I was attacked and they ended up killing my maid who has been with me for 15 years, it was a devastating loss, I suspect it was The Golden Empriss". The master closed the door and told her about the plan to lead them to destruction. "See the thing is those goody-two-shoes think they can do anything and claim it as justice. And I'm sorry for Emerald. I know you cared for her deeply and I have a mission for you and your team, The Deadly Mers, I want you to infiltrate the upcoming ball and poison President Sanity".

Wynter was stunned this is what she and her team were waiting for. "Thank you, master, we won't disappoint". She walked to her room where Rogue and Envie were waiting for the new assignment. "We heard the news were so sorry for your loss.", they said cold-heartedly. Wynter ignored the comment and explained the mission with a slight grin. They started to get ready. Wynter grabbed her katana and guns, Envie grabbed her gun and daggers, and Rogue grabbed her guns. "Oh wait we wouldn't wanna forget this huh?", Envie said slightly laughing. Wynter looked her up and down and grabbed the poison walked out to the garage. They went to go get their motorcycles.

And they began their journey to The Golden Empriss.
